Legend of the Chrystanigh (Semi-Literate)
Forum-Index → Roleplay → Pokémon RP → Legend of the Chrystanigh (Semi-Literate)"Well, flying is out of the question. You probably aren't used to your wings, and it would be pretty dangerous to try so. You have brute strength now, so you could test that out. And you could probably figure out how to make a small flame, although you might only be able to make smoke for now." She chuckled a little, then said, "I would just experiment with it. I can't exactly recommend anything to start with. Every aspect you gain needs work, and you could work on any of them."
What was his name?
Ah, Damian.
"Welcome back." She dipped her head to the Gallade. "We were just in the middle of some training. Bracken here is getting there. He had a rocky start, but he handled his new type well." She gave the Treecko a reassuring smile, then turned back to glance at the Gallade.
Bella watched the suicune and figured she just wanted to be alone. "Well I guess I'm not wanted here so I'll be off. She made herself invisible and flew off making a quiet bell sound. She went back to where she was before and saw the Treecko, the Zorua and the Poo hyena were all in different forms. She made a loud bell sound in a bit of shock and came almost right over them to see closer.
"Did you hear that?" he asked Crystal, getting up, his eyes still scanning the clearing.
Belle saw Bracken start coughing on smoke and made another bell sound. I've got to learn how to control that sound. She flew off a little to the side and went near bracken to make sure he wasn't hurt because of it.
She had to become a Chrystanigh. If it was true... She could... Her heart beat pounded in her ears at the thought. She'd finally would have power, more than she could ever imagine being such a plain normal type. Even if she reached level 100 at this rate, it would hardly matter. That Everstone around her neck had weighed heavy for a long time, the idea of power coming with evolution. But she wasn't the vow breaking type.

As he stood there, a faint jolt went through him. Bracken jumped, caught off guard, before recognizing it as some kind of life energy. Was there... another Dragon type nearby? He tried to feel out for it like he had with the trees before, but having little experience with the type, nothing came to him. He took a step back.
"H-Hello?" he called quietly, cringing a bit as the word irritated his throat.
The Treecko jumped again as Bella's telepathy interrupted his thoughts. Not sure how to respond without making his throat hurt more, Bracken gave a sort of half shrug.
Crystal's eye widened when she heard the voice enter her mind. "You were the voice from earlier!" she said and jumped in front of Bracken next the the Latias and sniffed her. "Wow, I haven't seen a legendary in a while," she said less on edge. She turned over to bracken who was still clearly in pain from the fire. "She's right, even if you don't get a rawst berry you should get some water," she said to him.
The Poochyena looked at Bracken as he tried to spit out a plume of fire. Only smoke came out, but that was thanks to a surprise from a certain Dragon type that had just appeared.
The Poochyena blinked in surprise at the Latias, especially since she had just telepathically spoken. But she wasn't too shocked. There had been a few deities in the Chrystanigh group.
Lunaro remembered meeting one, a shimmering ice blue bird who could control the earth and bend it to her will.
The Poochyena shook her head, dismissing the distant memories. She stepped towards the Latias, bowing her head. "Hello, I'm Lunaro, leader of the Chrystanigh." She turned back to Bracken. "A Rawst berry probably would help him. Having a fire attack backfire into your throat really can't be good."
She suddenly stopped, frowned as the bell rang out. "Oh, you were that other presence I sensed. I knew something was there, but you were invisible. I couldn't pick up on a significant life signature."
Taking a slower pace than usual, partly for the sake of his throat but mostly so he wouldn't get lost again, he looked for the berry tree. After a few minutes of searching, he finally found one. Bracken jumped onto one of its branches and reached down to pluck a berry from below. With the blue fruit in his hands, he finally realized he had not switched back to Grass type. A draconic Treecko would more than likely attract unneeded attention, he realized, glancing around.
Bracken focused on the power again, but this time pulling it in. He expected it to resist, but for the most part the scales retracted smoothly, leaving him looking as normal as he had that morning. The now untapped type swirled a bit more wildly within him, but nowhere near as bad as it had before.
That taken care of, he bit into the berry. He flinched at the bitter flavor, he preferred sour more, but he realized that he had not eaten since last night and ate it ravenously. The juice slid down his throat, cooling it, and Bracken let out a sigh of relief.
The leaves of the tree next to him rustled.
Bracken froze, flashing back to what had happened with the Ekans, but before he could react a small green head poked out from the leaves and stared at him. "...Bracken?" it said.
"Thyme!" Bracken called, recognizing the face. He smiled widely, glad that his brother had finally found him. The other Treecko jumped onto the Rawst Berry tree, but when Bracken got a closer look at him, the smile faded from his face.
Thyme did not look happy.
((I edited my form a bit.))
"Huh. Dragon type seems to really fit you as well." She gave a small smile. "Alright, it may burn a little, but just bear through it. This wouldn't be a good type for you if it wasn't meant to be."
Her pink fur shifted back into scales, and she placed two paws on one of his feet, since that was seriously the only thing she could reach at the moment.
She poured a little of her energy into him, eyes half closed in concentration.
Endo poked his head and limbs out of his shell again, by now, it looked like the Poochyena had taken on a new student, a Gallade. He frowned for a brief second. The Gallade would likely think of himself superior to Endo, considering what Pokemon they were, but the Shuckle was confident in his abilities, even if the Gallade would be given a new type.
He rolled over to the duo. The Poochyena was obviously concentrating hard on something, so he remained silent. Even though he could be aggressive when challenged, he knew when to mind his manners.
i have fists for hands and fire for fists
"Uh, sorry I'm back. Did I mention I'd like to join the last time I was here?" she asked, in her usual bored, flat tone.

"Would you like to be assessed? I can see what type would fit you first. Wouldn't take long at all."
The lupine suddenly scoffed, thinking of something. "Out of all the Pokemon I expected to first join, I never thought a feline would be among the Chrystanigh. Don't get me wrong; I have nothing against you. It's just that most cats stay away from wolves like myself." She gave the Glameow an amused look. "I assume you might've been a little hesitant to reveal yourself? Or did the talk of power probe your curiosity enough to make you appear?"
