"Close to Halloween" Kat said simply, and got some food as well.
Yukio at the second plate of food he had, the boy looked at the
snowy forest. "Though this forest is in a permenant winter..."
"You don't-" Kanti blinked. "Hm. Well, it's this holiday on the
last day of October. Kids dress up in costumes and go around to
houses, getting candy. If you don't get candy, you can throw toilet
paper on their houses or throw eggs at their cars... It's a ton of
fun."
Andromeda stirred at the eggs, thoughtfully. "The seasons are all
strange now, I never know what time of the year it is anymore." she
said. " I haven't seen anyone celebrate Halloween in a while," she
said.
Lucia's eyes widened. "No way, already? Halloween is my time to
shine!" She exclaimed excitedly. "The town I used to live in always
celebrated Halloween, and I always went because I felt like I fit
in! Besides, who could turn down free candy?" Her eyes gleamed with
childlike happiness.
"I want an infinite supply of chocolate, but it has to be white
chocolate." Lucia replied teasingly. She stood and placed the plate
in the sink before sitting back down and crossing her legs.
"No, most people give out regular chocolate." Lucia sighed and then
smiled. "I'll just trade it with someone." She said cheerfully.
"I'm gonna be a dragon. Dragons are awesome."
Andromeda proceeded to wash the dishes from breakfast, Wanting to
repay the old woman’s kindness. “ what would be a good costume for
me? I’ve never dressed up for something like that before,” she
explained.
