Kat looked over to Yukio who looked excited to be there. "Now then
are there any wounds in your group?" The older lady asked in
concern, and looked at the small group.
Kat rolled his eyes slightly, and looked over to the elderly lady.
"Don't worry I was a nurse when I lived with the humans. You're in
safe hands" she said kindly, and lead Kat away.
Andromeda watched Kat leave with the old lady nervously, but forced
herself to relax. She padded near the couch where Yukio was
sitting, and lay down. "Did you live here, Yukio?", she
asked the lion cub.
"Of course. Whenever mom left for a while she'd take me here.
Grandma makes the best ginger bread cookies, and she's really kind,
and gentle when it comes to wounds" he said trying to reassure
Andromeda. "Though...if it came to it. I'd still like to go with
you guys...I want somewhere safer for Mom, and Grandma...as well as
you all"
"It's alright" Yukio said sadly, and looked at his hands. "You
tried your best, and that's good enough for me...I'm sure we'll
find her" he said softly.
Kanti jumped to her feet quickly, catching it in her jaws. She
dropped it at Yukio's feet. "Stress reliever. It helps,
really," She explained, sitting down.
Kanti ran forward and caught it again after one bounce on the
floor. She trotted up to Yukio again and dropped the ball, giving a
little hop of excitement.
Yukio smiled, and threw the ball once more. Kat walked back into
the main room, his bullet wound was stitched up, and he had a
bandage over his shoulder.
