VBlaze transformed back into its regular form, and Victor kneeled
down on the ground.
"I guess we're done with it for the time being." The boy sighed.
"I'm too tired to follow it. Aether can deal with it themselves.
Atleast they cannot Freeze the blasting Pokemon."
Mel frowned and turned back to Tiger's house. "We should probably
do something about this." She murmured. "Aether can deal with that.
We have to fix this if we can."
Lucario landed on the ground beside her with a small grunt, the
bone vanishing.
honestly?? that sounds like something they would do
"Do you have anything better to do?" Mel retorted dryly, looking at
the house. "As long as the actual 'skeleton' of the house wasn't
badly damaged, we'd just have to fix the roof and the door and put
the furniture back together." She said, examining the house.
"I wish we had Mira's Gurdurr.." Victor muttered, and sent out
Sirius. "Here. Do something productive instead of flexing your
muscles like a retired bodybuilder." He said to the shiny.
Torracat meowed like a spoiled child.
Mel snorted but approached the house all the same. She crouched
down. "Okay. I'd say it's just a lot of repairing and lifting, but
I'm probably dead wrong." She paused thoughtfully. "Lucario, grab
that beam-- Yes, I know it's splintered-- just put it back
together." She huffed.
Lucario shrugged but did it anyway, setting the splintered beam on
the ground.
"Now we just need duct tape."
"mEL NO THATS NOT HOW YOU REPAIR HOUSES."
(probably going offline for like an hour whoops ;w;)
“I’m sure you’re supposed to use nails and not duct tape... I have
an idea!” Victor said, sending out Oracion and made him hold
never-melt-ice.
Oracion used powder snow on the ‘skeleton’ of the house, and Blaze
shaped the ice so that Tiger’s previously wooden house was now
shaping up to be a house made of ice like in fairy tales.
“Tiger will need to sleep in LOTS of blankets but it’s worth it I
guess.” Victor said, laughing and looking at Oracion and Blaze’s
work.
Tiger managed to escape the damage done to the house. He ran back
to the others holding Cyndaquil's pokeball in his hand. "What the
heck!" He said in shock, and growled. He then sighed "that's not
how you fix a house guys..." He mumbled, and shook his head. He
then examined the building pushing back the sad feeling he had.
"I'll be back. I'm just going to get a Pokemon to fix the place up
before my mom coms home and kills me.." He grumbled and walked into
the direction of town.
"Oh dear god." Ivan's only comment through all of this was just
that.
(not trying to be nitpicky, but how did Burst recognize Ivan if he
was on his Tapu Koko form all the time during their encounter?
Through the clothing pattern?)
"Akira!" Mel called, tossing up a pokeball. The Gallade appeared
with a small cry and looked at the house in horror. "It's a long
story. Can you help us fix it?"
Akira shrugged.
"Great. Use psychic to hold the beams in place!" She called. Akira
did so, and Lucario leapt onto the beam, carefully forcing a few
nails and screws into the wood to keep it up. He landed near Akira
and the two exchanged a fist bump.
"Don't you think that would be, you know, kinda cold?" Mel asked
flatly, glancing at Victor. "You wanna make a house of ice? I'm
down for that." She grinned.
“I’ve heard of hotels made entirely of ice which charge a TON for
you to stay. Tiger could become a millionaire if we could make a
house like that.” Victor replied.
(Meanwhile, halfway across the world, Mira is having a jolly old
time)
Mira groaned as sunlight hit her face from the window. Whyy? It
never- She remembered where she was and her eyelids flew open.
She groaned and looked at the clock. 6:00. "Come on guys. Wake
up."
"You never wake up before me!" Toka groaned from under
Mira's bed.
"Why are we up so early..." Amana hissed, raising his head.
Salandit looked around.
"Come on. Off to Johto," She urged, getting up. Mira shivered
slightly at the colder air and slipped into her hoodie and shirt.
Tiger grunted and continued through the route into town. He then
looked at the pokegear. "Looks like I'm getting a room somewhere
else tonight" he said grimly, and ran ahead. He then ran into the
Pokemon center.
Mira grabbed the journal and slipped it into her bag before turning
off the light to her room and looking around one last time before
heading into the living room. Amana was carrying an unconscious
Char on his back (she outright would not wake up and is
still gently snoring) while Salandit and Toka occupied her
shoulders. Mira tapped her fingers, looking at the jacket lazily
thrown over a chair. It was brown, with tan fur on the hood.
Pockets lined it.
Without a second thought, she grabbed the jacket and slipped out
the front door, yawning at the dawn light and the waking crowd of
Three Island. Her boat still sat on the dock, untouched. Amana
walked in and lay down once more as Mira said goodbye to everyone.
"I love it here," She muttered to Toka, getting on the boat and
sailing west to Johto.
(Mira's having a good time while the rest of them are screaming and
setting fire to bushes)
"Make an ice house later. We need to actual get a roof up." Mel
grunted, hefting a beam on one shoulder. "Someone please take
this." She wheezed, forgetting how weak she was.
Lucario rushed over to take it from her, tossing it to Akira, who
held it in place with psychic.
Mira sailed off, waving to everyone as she left. One was looking
rather reluctant; the biker from the previous night was standing at
the very back, waving. She grinned and stuck her tongue out,
sailing out.
"Guys, stay awake. We'll be in Johto... Hm... Twenty minutes," Mira
told her pokemon, who all groaned in reply.
