Halcyon thinks and the Basement comes to mind "There's still the basement, Let's check that place out." Halcyon says marching over to the Basement stairs, but stops at the top, looking down the steps with a small bit of fear in their eyes.

Halcyon slowly walks down the steps "W-we won't get an-anywhere standing here" Halcyon says smiling nervously and shaking as much as a massage Chair. Halcyon then takes a mis-step and falls down the stairs "OFGAHOUCHWHY!"

Soon, Frisk reached the end of the hallway. Toriel came out from behind a pillar and stood in front of her. "Greetings, my child. Do not worry, I did not leave you. I was merely behind this pillar the whole time. Thank you for trusting me. However, there was an important reason for this exercise." Toriel paused for a moment, and Frisk began to wonder why. "...to test your independence. I must attend to some business, and you must stay alone for quite a while. Please remain here. It's dangerous to explore by yourself."

Frisk sighed.

Frisk looked at Toriel for a while, before Toriel seemed to have an idea. "I have an idea. I will give you a CELL PHONE. If you have a need for anything, just call. Be good, alright?" Toriel said, handing her the CELL PHONE and leaving the room. Once she was sure that Toriel had gone, Frisk left the room. Her CELL PHONE rang, and she picked it up. "Hello? This is Toriel. You have not left the room, have you? There are a few puzzles ahead that I have yet to explain. It would be dangerous to try and solve them yourself. Be good, alright?" Toriel said, hanging up.

Frisk walked through the rest of the RUINS without problem. Surprisingly, not many monsters showed up. She currently had one Monster Candy in her pocket. After a long while of walking, she found another yellow star, beside a piece of cheese stuck to the table. She SAVED, and continued forward. She saw a ghost sleeping on a leaf pile. "zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... zzzzzzzzzzzzzz... zzzzzzzzzzzzz... (are they gone yet?) zzzzzzzzzzzzz...." The ghost kept saying "z" out loud repeatedly. Frisk accidentally stepped forward and engaged a FIGHT with the ghost.

*Here comes Napstablook.

Halcyon tries to yell tell Mary where he is, but ends up coughing from the damage he took from the fall down the stairs. He instead walks back to meat up with Mary "Over here" Halcyon whispers and motions Mary to come towards him.

Frisk thought that this ghost was really nice. Carefully, she pressed the ACT button, and then pressed Cheer.

*You gave Napstablook a patient smile.

"heh..." Napstablook said, before tears came out of his eyes. Carefully, Frisk managed to navigate around all the tears. She pressed the ACT button, and then pressed Cheer again.

*You told Napstablook a little joke.

"heh heh..." Napstablook said. Text appeared, saying 'Really not feeling up to it right now, sorry.' It soon disappeared.

*Cheering seems to have improved Napstablook's mood again.

She pressed ACT and Cheer again.

*Napstablook wants to show you something.

"let me try..." Napstablook said. His tears went upwards, and they slowly formed a top hat. "i call it, 'dapperblook'. do you like it..." Napstablook said.

*Napstablook eagerly awaits your response.

Frisk smiled and pressed ACT and Cheer again. "oh no..." Napstablook said. The FIGHT disappeared. "i usually come to the RUINS because there's nobody around... but today i met somebody nice... oh, i'm rambling again... i'll get out of your way..." Napstablook said, disappearing.

Frisk continued on, and saw a small bake sale. She didn't have enough money to buy anything, so she continued onwards. The room was empty, except for one Froggit. It seems that somebody had scared whatever else lived in this room away. She went over to the Froggit and talked to it.
