Halcyon nods, "I accept your apology." Halcyon states "How'd you sleep? I'd assume pretty well. That bed IS pretty comfy, took a nap in it myself before you showed up." Halcyon assumes. Halcyon then looks over to the basement.

Frisk smiled and nodded, agreeing with what Halcyon said. She then entered the living room, and saw Toriel sitting on a chair. She sat in front of her. "Up already, I see?" Toriel said, putting her book down. "Um, I want you to know how happy I am to have someone here. There are so many old books I want to share. I want to show you my favourite bug-hunting spot. I've also prepared a curriculum for your education. This may come as a surprise to you... But I have always wanted to become a teacher. ...Actually, perhaps that isn't very surprising. STILL." Toriel said, narrowing her eyes and pausing. Frisk let out a small laugh.

Halcyon walked into the living room behind Frisk and gave a slight smile to their interactions, but then gave a stern look at Toriel "So, do you know a way for us to get home?" Halcyon asked, even though he already knew about the door in the basement. He just wanted to see her answer.

Mary was right behind Halcyon.When she heard the word "home" she hope that it would be answered and they would be taken right back.

Toriel smiled."This is your home now." She replied, then turned back to Frisk. "I am glad to have you three living here." Toriel continued. "Um, do you want to hear about the book I am reading? It is called "72 Uses for Snails". How about it?" Toriel asked. Frisk smiled. "Sure!" She replied. "Here is an exciting snail fact. Did you know that snails... flip their digestive systems as they mature?" Toriel continued.

Halcyon glared at Toriel. "Interesting, interesting, yes, but where's the exit to the Ruins?" Halcyon asked a little annoyed.How will she avoid this more direct question? Halcyon questioned in his head.

"...I have to do something. Stay here." Toriel said, speeding out of the room. Frisk stayed sitting for a while, but then tried to follow Toriel. But she was gone, out of sight.

Halcyon followed Frisk, but when they stopped Halcyon called out "I think I know where she went, follow me." Halcyon went to the basement stairs and walked downstairs. "I have a sneaking suspicion she knows where our exit is." Halcyon says, slightly angered by Toriel's refusal to let them go.

Halcyon lead the group down the corridor, but had no intentions of staying with Toriel. Soon Halcyon stops seeing Toriel in the middle of the hallway "There you are, they were wondering where you went." Halcyon stated.

No one will ever be able to leave again. Now be good children and go upstairs." Toriel said, speeding down the hallway, soon out of sight.

Frisk gave a small shiver.

Halcyon continued after her "We continue." Halcyon yelled out to Toriel "Where do you think you're going old Lady?" Fleeing just like the rest Halcyon thought smirking

Frisk blinked, seemingly holding back tears again. She continued slowly. "Please don't kill her." She managed to squeak out without bursting into tears. She hoped that they would see Toriel again soon.

Halcyon kept silent to Frisk's request. Soon they encountered Toriel further down the hall. "Why are you doing this? Some of us just want to go home." Halcyon stated sternly.
