Frisk could see a tree in the middle of the next room. "Oh dear, that took longer than I thought it would." Toriel's voice sounded from across the room. Toriel walked towards the tree and stood beside it. She put her CELL PHONE up to her ear before spotting Frisk right in front of the tree. "How did you get here, my child? Are you hurt?" Toriel asked, now in front of Frisk. Frisk smiled at her. "There, there. I will heal you. I should have not left you alone for so long. It was irresponsible of me to try to surprise you like this." She continued. She stopped, aware of what she just said. "Err... Well, I suppose I cannot hide it any longer. Come, small one!" Toriel said, walking inside a house. Frisk stood in front of another yellow star that was in front of the house.

(Seeing such a cute, tidy house in the RUINS gives you determination.)

Frisk quickly SAVED and went inside.

[Also, just a FYI that nobody can see the yellow stars except for Frisk]

Halcyon, feeling a little better got up, and heard footsteps throughout the house. "Someone's here..." Halcyon whispered to Mary. Halcyon then caught a whiff of the air... "Is someone... baking?" Halcyon walked slowly outside the room

Toriel smiled at Frisk as she came inside. "Do you smell that?" Toriel asked. Frisk sniffed the air. "Surprise! It is a butterscotch-cinnamon pie. I thought we might celebrate your arrival. I want you to have a nice time living here. So I will hold off on snail pie for tonight. Here, I have another surprise for you." Toriel said, walking down the hallway. She stopped abruptly when she saw more children in the hall. "Oh, dear. How did you get here, my children? Are any of you hurt?" She asked.

Frisk looked at the children with a smile.

Halcyon stepped back a little, startled, reached for his gun, but decided to hold back... for now. "Uhh...." Halcyon gulped "W-we had gotten trapped down in these ruins and we were searching around for an exit. We searched everywhere" Halcyon sighs "It's pretty dangerous out there so we decided to take a rest here before we continued our search." Halcyon coughs "I may have sustained some injuries myself..." Halcyon says with the sound of pain in his voice

Toriel gave the two children a motherly smile. "I will heal both of you, do not worry." She said, healing the two children. She then turned back to Frisk. "Well, this is it... Although, I think that the two others have found it earlier than you have." She gave them another smile. She took Frisk's hand, and walked until they were in front of the bedroom door. "A room of your own. Although, you might need to share it with the other two children. Is that okay with you, my child?" She asked. Frisk nodded. Toriel sighed in relief. "I hope you like it!" She said, giving Frisk's head a small rub. Toriel stopped and turned around. "Is something burning...? Um, make yourself at home!" She said, running off down the hallway.

Halcyon stretched out, amazed he felt no pain "wow, thanks!" Halcyon thanked Toriel. As Toriel ran off, Halcyon looked over to Frisk, "Hey there, wasn't expecting anymore humans down here, My name's Halcyon, nice to meet'cha." Halcyon gave Frisk a bright smile.

Frisk smiled. "Frisk." She replied. The smile slowly faded off of her face, seeing dust lining Halcyon's clothes. "...You aren't going to kill Toriel too, are you?" She asked quietly, the colour suddenly drained from her face.

Halcyon felt a jolt when Frisk said that... "Heheh.... so I guess you found out huh? Why the Ruins are so Empty..." Halcyon chuckled to himself covering his eyes with his hat. "Guess there's no point in hiding it. I'm the one who made the Ruins safer." Halcyon Smirks "Probably why someone as soft looking as yourself isn't dead yet."

Frisk was holding back tears. "Well, I'm going to fall asleep in that room. Make sure that you don't turn me into dust while I'm sleeping." She said coldly, before following it up with a genuine "sorry" and falling asleep in the bed, under the covers.

Halcyon looked genuinely confused as Frisk walked into the room after her remark . "Interesting.. Why are they so torn up about this...? I'm just making sure people like them are safe." Halcyon scratched his head. "Well, I get the feeling they won't want to see me, so I'll just hang around out here." Halcyon sits down outside the door, back against the wall.

Toriel came back to the hallway, with three plates in her hands. They all had a slice of butterscotch-cinnamon pie on them. She smiled and gave one to Halcyon, and one to Mary. She quietly went into Frisk's room, and placed the plate onto the floor next to the bed. She silently went out.

Halcyon eyed Toriel cautiously and looked at their pie when they left. "I think I'll save this for later." Halcyon puts the Butterscotch-Cinnamon Pie in his inventory "Not too hungry right now anyway."

Toriel nodded her head in understanding, and went to the living room. She sat on her chair and began to read.

Frisk was having a really bad nightmare. It was of Toriel dying, and at the hands of Halcyon. She woke up in cold sweat, sitting up almost immediately. She relaxed after hearing the end of Halcyon's sentence outside the door. She got up and spotted the butterscotch-cinnamon pie.

*You found a slice of butterscotch-cinnamon pie.

She smiled, and put it into her inventory. She then walked to outside the room. She hung her head when she saw Halcyon, but soon lifted it again. "I'm sorry for what I said yesterday." She whispered, before walking off to find Toriel.
