Cam snorted. "Sure." She yawned, stretching. "Are we splitting up, or sticking together?" She asked, glancing at Sasha and Allen, carefully avoiding looking at her brother and Lucia. "Either's fine, I just need to know."

Aiden frowned, bottom lip jutting out in a pout. Thanks a lot, sis. I'm finally happy and you diss me? He turned away from Lucia with an annoyed huff.

Lucia's eyes narrowed ever so slightly but she respected Aiden's boundaries and allowed him to step away. She glanced towards Cam and frowned. Whats her deal? Her eyes widened. Oh. Duh. She's probably grossed out by us. Poor kid.

Cam's eyebrow twitched. I'm willing to bet fifty dollars tha Lucia is calling me a kid right now. I'm not a kid! I'm a perfectly mature adult! Just last week I bought a vegetable! She grinned to herself.

"Split up in groups?" Sasha answered like a question.
Allen slid right over to Cam, "you're always welcome to come with me girl."
Sasha dragged him by his ear, "Save the world now, flirt with girls later."

First thing Jake and Elizabeth noticed was the atmosphere. It felt heavy. It took all of Jake's effort to take only a few steps. "Come on." He urged Elizabeth. "I think I know a guy." Hopefully in this universe he's alive. And also a good guy. He thought to himself

Cam snorted. "Why thank you." She responded sarcastically, bowing dramatically. "But I think I shall head off now." She turned and fled the area.

"Wait! Groups, Cam!" Aiden yelled, chasing after her. "I'm gonna kill you!"

"You wouldn't!" Cam's response floated back. "I'm your favorite sister!"

"You're my only sister!" Aiden shouted, vanishing after Cam.

"Nu-uh! What about Lia and Criss?" Cam yelled back.

"They're friends you doofus!"

"That's close enough!" Cam laughed, her voice floating back towards Lucia, who sighed and followed the two siblings, shaking her head in silent amusement. Lucia wished she was close with her siblings. Maybe then they wouldn't have vanished. But the last is the past, and Lucia was now trying to find her grown boyfriend and his sister. They acted like children, she swears it.

Allen and Sasha decided to go to a different town. Their hometown. To see if anyone was alive.
"It's been a while since we've been here." Sasha said.
"Yeah." Allen responded. "Maybe we can find d someone still alive."

Jake and Elizabeth made their way to what seemed like a little cottage. Okay, Jake said, the place is still here, hopefully the guy is too.
He knocked on the door and waited for an answer. None. He knocked again and waited a minute. Still nothing

"We're here." Cam said, tucking her hands into her pockets. "But I don't see anything. Or hear anything. Like, at all. Nothing." The group had returned to their own hometown. Cam' she eyes brightened. "But since we're here, can we stop at our house? I wanna grab some stuff."

Aiden shrugged. "I don't see why not. Grab some stuff from the kitchen while you're there." He added as an afterthought. "Lucia and I will go check the neighborhood." He set off, Lucia close behind him.

"Sure, whatever." Cam muttered, unlocking the back food and stepping inside. She smiled faintly, heading towards her room and crouching down. From underneath her bed, she pulled out a backpack. Reaching around, she grabbed different things and shove them into the backpack. The Fire seemed to flash questionimgly. "Essentials." Was all she said, heading into the kitchen and tucking food items into her bag, mostly snacks. She zipped the bag and tossing it over her shoulders, settling the straps on her shoulders and stepping out of the house, locking the door behind her. The bag weighed barely anything. The Fire sphere flashed and settled into its dormant form as a firey red flower attached to her headband.

Aiden dashed over, Lucia at his heels. "Lets move! There's a monster back there!" He shouted, waving his arms wildly. The two skidded to a halt beside Cam.

"A monster? A single monster? You guys couldn't handled it on your own." Cam pointed out in a flat tone.

Aiden's yes flashed dangerously. "Yeah, but the things huge, cam. It's like, three times the size of the other monsters." Cam raised her eyebrows.

There was a thud, and Cam's jaw dropped.

"Oh," Was all she was able to get out.

Allen found a car and got it running.
"How do you know to hotwire a car?" Sasha asked him
"I don't know. I just winged it and hoped for the best." He answered.
As they drove through downtown, they noticed something unsettling. Yes there were monsters around. But that wasn't their biggest concern. "I feel like we are being watched." Sasha said.
Just then, their back window shattered. A gun shot was heard a few seconds before.
Allen slammed on the gas. "Why are we being shot at!" Allen yelled. "We aren't monsters!" He yelled out the window.
Someone landed in front of the car, superhero style. Allen tried to stop, but it hit the person. But to his and Sasha's surprise, the car stopped with a crash. The person in front of them seemed unharmed. They then brought out a gun and pointed it at Allen and Sasha

"Remember that time you pushed me off the tube when we went tubing, Aiden?"

"Now is not the time for reminiscing!"

"Well we're gonna die anyway! So I say we go down laughing!" Cam snapped back, lifting one hand. The flower on her headband reformed into a glowing scythe and she lunged forward, knocking the monster off its feet. It fell with a heavy crash, which sent tremors through the ground.

Lucia held up her hand, and a bit of water formed a glowing blue axe, which she hoisted over her shoulder. "Cam, please tell me there's a way to pick your weapon?" She grunted. The axe was heavy for water!

"Sure." Cam replied, dodging a punch from the monster. She swung the scythe, which narrowly missed the monster. "You just hafta picture what kind of weapon you want Andrew concentrate. I've done this so many times it just knows now." The monster punched at her again, which sent her flying into a tree. She slid to the ground and groaned. The scythe vanished and reappeared as a sphere. It flashed worriedly. "Ow." She muttered, sitting up and rubbing her head.

Lucia closed her eyes and concentrated. The axe reformed into a blue sword, and she let out a triumphant shout. She dove forward, swinging the sword. One of the monsters arms fell off. Aiden appeared beside her, holding up his hands. The ground below the monster broke, and the monster vanished, falling into the dark abyss. Aiden closed the gap and groaned.

"This must have been a trap or something." Cam said. She'd stood up now, holding out her hand. The sphere vanished into dormant form as a flower on her headband. It wouldn't consume any of her energy there. "I hope the others are faring better than we are." She said quietly, turning around and beginning to head out. Aiden and Lucia followed, eyes slightly troubled. Cam ignored both and walked on.

"who are you and why did you crash our ride!" Allen yelled. With his yelling, it attracted monsters.
Sasha took a good look at their assailant. A guy, 20 years old. Wore normal clothing. But his eyes. They were red.
"You're an Ancient?" Sasha said. "Why are you helping these monsters?"
The guy stared at them, his guns pointed right at them. "I am known as an Elementist Assassin. Whereas me being an Ancient has no reconciliation of why I'm helping the Zorgrons. I am merely employed by the same person that order these beasts around.
Allen made a spear of water and threw it at the Assassin. But it merely splashed in impact, not even hurting him.
"A pity that you don't know." He said. "Just like the Zorgrons are immune to the elements, us Assassins are resistant to it. But we can't easily go down from elemental weapons. It has to be an actual weapon made by man to kill an Assassin."

Meanwhile... Jake was getting used to the atmosphere now. But that doesn't help him with the only other Elementist that was known for jumping through worlds. Even though if he was forced to, the Elementist solved that problem long ago. So he has to be here, hopefully

"... do you think pigeons have feelings?"

"Ugh, Cam." Aiden groaned, slamming his head against the nearest tree. Lucia and Cam both collapsed into fits of giggles. The group continued on, moving down the road at a steady pace.

"..."

"Don't even start." Aiden started in a warning tone, but he was cut off my a certain redhead.

"Do you think pancakes have feelings?"

"CAM."

Lucia stifled her giggles, smoothing her shirt down and creating a ball of water which she tossed up and down, listening to the siblings bickering. She smiled widely. She was almost 90% sure she heard certain phrases such as "You don't know what you're doing!" "You're right I don't" and "I'm gonna skin you." and "Doth mother know you weareth her drapes?" "Would you stop making bad reference she for ten minutes please." being tossed around.

She was almost shocked when Cam and Aiden froze midstep, bickering falling to a halt. She peered over their shoulders and felt shock race through her veins.

"Who," Cam started flatly. "In the name of my sanity is that."

Lucia had no idea. All she knew was that their eyes were black and there was an oddly dark flame flickering in their hands.

Aiden and Cam both let out synchronized screeches, leaping forward. There was a flash of red and brown, and Cam had fire in her hands, while rocks floated above Aiden's palms.

The odd man seemed to smile, launching himself forward with terrifying speed. Cam slipped backward, landing on her back, throwing her hands up to defend herself. The man stood over her, shooting the strange darkness at her. She rolled out of the way, screeching and diving behind a tree.

Aiden moved forward, launching several chunks of earth at the man, but the other man dodged them with ease, kicking Aiden away. Aiden sprawled onto the ground in front of Lucia.

"Get out of here!" Cam shouted. She held up her hand, and her eyes seemed to flash white. Using somebody her newfound Light powers, she sent the two others flying away. Her right eye flashed red while the left stayed white. The man seemed to smile, lunging forward again. Cam dove to meet him.

"We've gotta go back, we gotta help her, who wAS THAT GUY?!" Lucia screeched, pacing angrily.

Aiden was on the ground nursing his head. "Lu." He said quietly. "Couldn't you tell? That guy has a Dark element of some sort. We cant go back their alone. Certain death. Think about it."

"If it's certain death for us, what about Cam?" Lucia cried out, tears slipping past her defenses and sliding down her cheeks.

"I don't know." Aiden looked away, feeling his heart crack. I'm sorry, Cam.

The redhead struggled on.

Killing the guy wouldn't be easy. Deciding what to do with his weird powers would be even harder. She prayed that if she didn't manage to kill him, his powers would die with him.

Just then, Well jumped down from nowhere. His white eyes glimmering in the sunlight.
"Cam, is it?" He said. "This is not a dark Elementist, but one of the Ancients. An immortal one too. You can tell by the eyes." Well went into a fighting stance, open handed, no weapons. "You're not ready to fight someone like this."

Allen say there in the car seat, frozen in fear. He can't charm his way out of this situation. The Assassin then said, "I'll give you two choices" he threw a sword on to the hood of the car, just within arm's reach of the opening through the broken glass.
"You can either fight me separately, or fight the beasts together."
"I'll take you on!" Allen exclaimed.
The Assassin laughed. "I have been watching your group for a while now. The siblings, and the girl with them. Heading into a trap by another Ancient, one that isn't the as nice as that traitor Well. Your leader and his girlfriend. Searching for someone who has been dead for over a millennia. And you two. Dead by my hands." He pulled out another sword from a sheath that he had on his back. "None of you strike me as a powerful Elementist. The only one that might prove their worth is your leader. But he isn't here, so I'll settle for your heads." Allen got out of the car and took the sword.
"Allen?" Sasha said. "Allen! Don't do this! You'll die!" The Zorgrons pulled Sasha out of the car, restraining her. She couldn't even focus to use her powers.
"Then it'll be his funeral." The Assassin said.

Jake couldn't stand waiting anymore. He used some of his powers and broke down the door. When he took a look inside, he was surprised to find it empty.
"Jake?" Elizabeth asked. "Who were you trying to find?"
"His name was Xyry. A dark Elementist who did more good than bad. He was the only one that fought the evil within the element. After he died, he was forced to come back. Almost like Well. But his memories were wiped, allowing anyone to mold him to their picture, and have him do the unthinkable to others"

Cam could have cried. "Bless." She whispered. "But you don't have any weapons! Are you gonna be okay? I need.." She choked up. "I need to know if everyone is okay." She pushed herself back to her feet. The scythe vanished back into dormant form on her headband. "And yeah. I'm Cam." She glanced at the man, and determination lit in her eyes. "You'd better not die or something. I'd hate to have to explain this to Jake. Or anyone really."

Aiden could hear talking.

He could faintly recognize he voices. Someone from the group. He reached over, grabbing Lucia's hand and pulling her after him as he ran forward. Using a bit of his power to help speed along the process of getting there, he landed safely and released Lucia's wrist, stepping behind a tree. Lucia mimicked him. "Wait," he mouthed. "Wait and watch. I don't know what's going on."

Well smiled. "Weapons hide weakness of a person." He easily dodged all of the evil Ancients attacks and did quick strikes with his hands.

Allen could barely handle the quick movements of the Assassin.
Sasha watched helplessly as this happened.

Jake walked out of the cabin to find someone pointing a gun in his face. "So why are you breaking and entering an abandoned shack?' he knew who the gun weilder was too. An enemy turned friend in the other universe, Sorin. His eyes burning yellow

Cam gaped at him. "Woah, that's awesome." She marveled. "Okay, when we all make it out of here in one piece, you need to teach me how to do that, because that's amazing." She said, and she paused suddenly. "Oh, no no." She whispered. "If this was a trap, what happened to Sasha and Allen? And Jake and Elizabeth?" Panic settled inside her. "Oh my god." She was starting to truly panic. "I gotta find them, oh no-" She stepped forward, ignoring the sharp pain in her leg and continued on. "Sorry I'm abandoning you but I need to know where everyone is!" She shouted. "Aiden? Lucia? Sasha? Allen?"

"no need to be sorry." Well said, as he kept fighting.

As Allen fought the Assassin, Sasha watched. She could tell that Allen was running out of energy. Just then, Allen swung, the Assassin ducked under and lunged his sword into Allen's side.
"Allen!" Sasha screamed.
He fell down, unmoving.
"A pity." The Assassin said. "I was having fun too. I've never killed a chaos Elementist. A pushover if you ask me."
Sasha then remembered that if an Elementist died, their powers transfer over to their killer. She looked at Allen's body. Nothing seemed to happen. He's still alive.
"Oh, your hoping he's still alive." The Assassin said. "Wonderful thing about us Assassins being resilient to Elements. When we kill an Elementist, their powers get locked into their body. So it won't be able to transfer. That way their friends won't know for sure if they are dead."

Jake put his hands up. So did Elizabeth.
"Who are you?" Sorin asked.
"Jake Stone." He said.
"You tripped my magical wires opening the door. Why are you here?"
"I needed to talk to Xyry. About the Darkness element."
Sorin put the gun down. "You won't be able to."
"Why?" Jake asked.
"Because he's dead." Sorin answered

(ok. Aliens invaded earth. Jake kind of knew of an alternate universe, and therefore is calling up friends from another world to help. There are four more Elements; Dark, Light, Electricity, and Chaos. These monsters are immune to Elements. Don't use too much of your powers or you risk getting yourself killed. The Ancients, some are friends. Whereas the monsters, no friends. There are two known ways to get an Element. Either by surviving getting it, meaning it chooses you. Or you kill another Elementist. Just added Elementist Assassins, which are resistant to Elements. Their job is to basically hunt down Elementists. The Dark element is known to corrupt people, and therefore only Jake has it, he has told the others, if it comes down to it, they need to take him out in order to save the world. And I think that's it.)

"Aiden?"

"Cam!"

The two siblings lunged towards each other, hugging each other ugh rly. Lucia stood slightly to the side watching.

"Oh my god I thought you were dead!" Aiden exclaimed, shoving Cam away.

The redhead stumbled back and scowled. "No, sorry to disappoint. My death wish was clearly not answered today." Sarcasm dripped from her tone. "Remember Well? He showed up just in time."

Aiden nodded, relief pouring through him. "Have you seen anyone else?"

"No, sorry." Cam shook her head, disappointment clear in her eyes. Frustration surged through her. "We have to keep looking, what if they're dead?"

Lucia shook her head slightly. "I doubt it. I hope they aren't." She murmured, turning away slightly. Aiden stared at the ground. Cam looked away.

"We'll keep looking." Aiden decided firmly.

Cam and Lucia nodded silently. Something was wrong, and they could feel it. They didn't know how wrong.

Sasha was crying. She finally grappled out of the monsters grips and ran and punched the Assassin in the face. He got up and snapped his fingers. The monsters restrained her again. "This is gonna be fun." He said. He wiped the blood off his blade and pointed it at her. The blade only inches away from her face. "Don't be sad. You'll meet your boyfriend soon."
"How about you let her go. I still have unfinished business with you." It was Allen. He was standing, but his whole body glowed purple for some reason.
"How? How are you alive!" The Assassin yelled. He swung his sword at Allen, who simply blocked it with his arm. The blade broke on contact.
"You know, the reason why you haven't killed a Chaos Elementist is because we don't follow the laws of physics." Allen said. Suddenly the whole street was flooded with water. It slowly turned into a wirlpool with Allen in the center. The monsters fell underneath the water not to be seen again.
"Impossible!" The Assassin said. "They're immune to Elements!"
Allen smiled. "As I said. Chaos doesn't care about laws of physics. So it sure won't care about immunity." He then threw his hands up and spears made of water shot out and impaled the Assassin. The wirlpool did the rest of the work and dragged him under
