Jade noticed his confusion and handed him another note. It read I'm sorry, I'm mute. as in can't talk. Shade yipped at the Eevee trying to apoligize.

"Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to offend you or anything." CJ apologized.
CJ's Eevee playfully growled and wagged his tail at the Zorua before gently tackling it.

"Guys, look!" Alex shouted, pointing at some trees in the distance. At that moment, dozens of blue and white lights illuminated the treetops and one by one, newly evolved Vivillion fluttered across the sunset, a trail of a glitter-like powder following behind them.

Tess gasped in awe. "Those are so beautiful!" She grinned.


Her Pokémon looked up momentarily, as well as Carlie who has been sitting there the whole time.

Mira rolled out of bed, unable to sleep, and went to her window to watch the sunset. She sat down, looking at the sky, and sighed.

Jade stood there amazed the Vivillion flew past. Shade yelped in surprise then wagged her tail. She licked his nose and snickered playfully.

"Looks like our Pokémon are getting along." CJ noted, watching his Eevee and the trainer's Zorua interact with one another.

Alex looked up at Tess and then back at the sunset before yawning loudly. "If you all want, we could have a little sleepover at my house? I live right there in Lumiose City, I'm sure my dad wouldn't mind." she offered.

Tess's Pokémon and Carlie's Pokémon were staring at eachother curiously.

Jade smiled and nodded, then remembered that she hadn't introduced herself, she handed CJ another note. I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Jade and that goof ball over there is Shade. Shade ran around the eevee like a hyper growlithe.

Shade jumped onto the Eevee playfully and pinned him down. Jade watched the two as she waited for a response from CJ to the note she had given him.

CJ's Torchic just stared at Axy, not responding before waddling off.

CJ read the note quickly and smiled at Jade. "Nice to meet you, I'm CJ. I just got here from Hoenn but I've been spending most of my time with Alex & Tess." he introduced, pointing to the two girls. CJ's Eevee snickered and swiftly utilized an attack, Iron Tail, to give himself the upper hand and flip over, pinning Shade down.

As the sun set, Alex signaled for everyone joining her in her home to follow her lead, CJ being one of them. "Eevee, Torchic, it's time to go." she informed, the two Pokemon following him.
"You coming with us, Jade?" he asked, looking down at his Eevee who'd been hoping to play with the girl's Zorua a bit more.

Jade nodded, following CJ and the others, She then held her arm out straight and gave two quick clicks of her tongue. Shade gave a playful boop on CJ's Eevee's nose with her own then quickly jumped onto Jade's extended arm and gracefully walked along it, sitting on jade's shoulder.

Axy climbed on Drake's back and stood up on his shoulder as the two walked down to Lumiose. "Seems like you made a new friend." Drake said, smiling at Axy. Axy replied to his comment with a nod and a quick smile.

[I literally just noticed that my character and her pokemon's names rhyme XD]
Jade followed Alex silently while walking next to CJ. Shade made her way up onto Jade's head and sat down resulting in an eyeroll from Jade.

Tess slid down and out of the tree, following Alex and everyone else, making sure that all her berries were put away and that she was being followed by her Pokémon.

After arriving in Lumiose City, Alex led the group to a large apartment building where she was greeted by a bellhop. "Miss Alexandria," he started, "I was informed you'd started a Pokémon Adventure. What brings you back home?"
"Well, Hobbes, I met these people at the lab and we went to Santalune City together. We were on our way back and decided to spend the night here. Daddy'll be okay with it, right?"
"More than likely. Go on upstairs then." Hobbes offered, stepping aside to let the group head into the elevator.

The elevator led the group to the penthouse, Alex's home. "Dad?!" she called, her father coming down a spiral staircase moments later, his gaze fixed on CJ who returned the gaze silently.
"Is it okay if we spend the night here?" she asked her father.
"Of course, Allie," he told his daughter, kissing her on head afterwards before turning towards the group. "Good evening, trainers, my name is Mason."

Drake walked into Lumiose, as Axy slept on his shoulder and Ralts walked with him. "Mk..Let's head to the pokecenter.." Drake said, as Ralts walked with him to the pokecenter.

The sun was finally down. Mira looked to Char once more, who was still asleep, and checked the Pokedex again. Lumiose? Hm. Guess they're clocking it in for the night, too. She thought before putting it away again. "Team Flare has been quiet. I wonder..." She shook the thought and went back over to her bed.
