Under "Your Trades", you should be able to see who you sent a pending gift to. I bought a couple of Secret Swords to gift to friends but I have one that's still pending and I can't remember who I sent it to so that I can remind them to take it

This info has been added to the "Details"-page of the gift - just like you can see the selected users for private trades.
