Well I think a growlithe would be great. I would probably regenerate evolve into an arcanine in the middle of the season. I personally think he would pair up with a more human life form like Lucario.

@ Finhawk Hehe, just got a mental image of the Doctor and River Songs wedding, with a dunsparce coming up the aisle carrying the rings, and yes, before you ask, I am aware that I have a rather strange imagination... :P

@ Frozenfire I just looked up the description for Lucario on bulbapedia (I don't know all my pokemon as well as I should...so many to remember!) and I see what you mean, Lucario would be a great companion for the Doc

Edit: Just out of curiosity, have there been many entries for the art competition? I've got one I'm working on, should be ready by the deadline. Anyone else?

Yep, you can write and it can be a crossover.

Also, I might throw in an entry as well just to have more of them but I can't win the prizes myself, assuming there will be at least three other entries.

If you need more time for this, just ask and I'll postpone the deadline once again. :p
