Brock then stepped out of the shadows, and looked at Tiger "hmm...the Johto runner up. I hope you will put up a good fight?" He said kindly. "To bad you didn't win against Lance" he said simply.
Tiger shrugged "I'll have my rematch. For now though" he said, and grabbed Cubone's pokeball. "Let's battle"

Tiger nodded, and sent Cubone out. "Alright bud let's do this" he said softly. Cubone jumped out of the pokeball and threw his bone into the air. He then cried out as he was ready to battle.
"Begin" the announcer said strongly.
Tiger nodded "Cubone start this off with a bonemerang" he said quickly. Cubone then threw his bone and it spun toward Geodude. It hit the rock Pokemon three times. Tiger looked at the Geodude, and saw it had lost quite a bit of health.
"Geodude tackle" Brock said quickly. Geodud flew toward Cubone with a tackle. Dust picked up when he moved.
"Geodude Dude! (You're going down!)" Geodude said quickly. Cubone didn't have time to react as he was hit with tackle. Tiger froze as Cubine cried out in shock from the move.
"Hang in there" Tiger said softly, and thought for a moment "now use growl" he said softly. Cubone nodded, and growled at Geodude dropping its attack.
"Geodude use bide" Brock commanded. Geodude then sat down, and waited. Tiger narrowed his eyes. I could attack and risk Geodude dealing a ton of damage, or I could wait and have bide fail...bonemerang did a ton of damage already, though Cubone lost some health from tackle... he thought to himself. Though Geodude will take almost three turns to attack, and he's slower than Cubone... he finished.
"Cubone use bonemerang once more" Tiger ordered Cubone nodded, and used bonemerang once more. It managed to hit Geodude five times, and knocked the rock Pokemon out.

Onix roared, and grabbed Cubone, "Cubone hang in there, and try a bone club" Tiger said swiftly.
Cubone tried to defend but he couldn't move. He then headbutted Onix in an attempt to do any damage. Cubone is still weak from the earlier battle...he won't last long here Tiger thought, and grabbed Cubone's pokeball. Just as he did so, Cubone fainted from bind. "Return" he ordered. Onix heard the Pokemon switch and released the now fainted Cubone.
"Who will be sent out next" Brock asked lowly, and looked at Tiger evenly.

"Onix on? Onix is on (a fire type? This will be easy)" the Pokemon said and smirked.
Cyndaquil ran onto the field and lit his back flames. "Alright then" Brock said uncertainly.

"Cyndaquil wait for the rocks to get closer" Tiger ordered. Cyndaquil nodded, just as the rocks were about to hit, Cyndaquil jumped onto them. He hopped along the stones, and was close to Onix. "Now use swift" Tiger commanded. Cydnaquil used a swift, and hit Onix in the face. The massive rock Pokemon screeched in shock as he didn't expect his opponent to use the rocks against him.
"Onix stop that mouse with bind" Brock said swiftly.
"Dodge" Tiger said to Cyndaquil, but as Cyndaquil went to jump back he was wrapped in a bind. Tiger froze Cyndaquil can't move now....but maybe I can help him get free...we just need to think Tiger thought simply. He then got an idea.
"Onix finish this with rock throw" Brock said in a bored tone. Just as Tiger yelled.
"Use flamethrower" Cyndaquil used a flamethrower picking dust and ash up off the floor, and covering the arena in a cloud. Onix missed his move, and lost his grip on Cyndaquil. Just as the dust settled Cyndaquil was gone, and a hole was in his place. Onix looked around wildly.
"Onix hit your tail on the ground throw Cyndaquil into the air" Brock commanded. Onix hit his tail on the ground shaking the gym in the process, and Cyndaquil was flung from the ground. "Now" Brock ordered. Onix then used a rock throw this time it hit Cyndaquil.
Cyndaquil crashed in the ground, and growled. "Are you alright" Tiger called out. He knew the Pokemon had taken a great amount of damage from that move. Cyndaquil nodded, and got back up. "Alright use flamethrower on the ground" Tiger said softly.
Onix was about to use rock throw once more when Cydnaquil launched himself off the ground with flamethrower, the move missed him. "Aerial ace" Tiger said quickly. Cyndaquil then used an aerial ace, and came down on Onix with a great force the gym was then filled with dust once more.

"I never expected a fire Pokemon to defeat Onix..." Brock said in an impressed tone. "Here you've earned this" he said, and handed the badge to Tiger.
