She nodded sympathetically. "Alright. Well, we should get going
soon before the foot traffic in Pewter gets too bad," She
suggested. "We can grab something to eat after the battle."
Tiger looked over, and sighed "I've had this nightmare for years"
he said quietly. "Though not many people know about it...only
Smokey, and my pokemon..."
"You don't have to tell me about it," Mira said quickly. Almost too
quickly. She took a breath before adding: "If it's something
personal, I understand." Although I do kind of want to know who
Smokey is...
Tiger shrugged "it's fine. It's more of a flashback anyway than
something my mind comes up with" he sighed. "Anyway...any other
questions" he said jokingly, and smiled. He pushed the nightmare to
the back of his mind, and began to act like his old self.
She chuckled and shook her head. "Are you ready to go up against
Brock? And if you win, what will you do next?" She said in her best
'sport announcer' voice.
Tiger laughed "when I win I'm going to continue my journey, and
take Misty on" he said warmly, and looked up as they were
approaching the exit to the forest.
She shrugged. "Probably continue on, like you. I need to find my
father eventually, once I'm strong enough," She explained, not
explaining much more than that.
Tiger looked over, and wondered if he should ask about her father.
Instead he sighed "well...if you need help, if your father is in
trouble...I don't know, but I'd like to help you. After all I think
going into a battle with friends. Is way better than tackling your
enemies alone" he said softly.
Mira smiled. "Thanks, I appreciate it. If things get much worse, I
might need some help," She nodded, sighing. I'll tell him,
eventually. She assured herself.
Tiger nodded, and smiled. He tried to sound encouraging "I'll be
here for you" he said softly, and stopped in the middle of town as
he saw Brock's gym.
