Tiger nodded in agreement "well we could try and look for Pokemon until it gets darker, or we can set up camp here" he suggested with a sigh.

"I'd say look until it's darker. I mean... We've still got a few hours," Mira pointed out. "We can probably find a few Caterpie or something."

Tiger nodded "alright you go ahead and find some Pokemon. I'll set camp up here, and train Charmander and Cubone...I don't think we'd find another chance to make a decent camp for a bit" he said simply.

"Sounds good," Mira waved a goodbye and let Pikachu jump onto her other shoulder that wasn't holding Bulbasaur. "Maybe we can find that Pidgey, right?" She suggested, and smiled at the two.

Tiger let Charmander out, and walked over to a clearing nearby. "Alright Cubone, Chamrmander. We can start by practicing by shooting objects out of the sky" he said and the two Pokemon nodded. Tiger then threw two toy pokeballs into the air. Charmander tried to knock out the toy with an ember but misses. Cubone manages to hit it with bonemerang, and sent one of the toys back to Tiger.

Something rustled in the bushes. Mira looked over. Pikachu tensed up on her shoulder, while Bulbasaur instantly jumped off. Mira caught him. "Wait a minute," She whispered to him, and backed up.

A baby Growlithe tumbled out, much to Mira's surprise. "You don't come from around here. Where did you-" Mira stopped when she heard footprints nearby. The Growlithe yiped and scrambled away, into Mira's arms. She picked it up and covered its mouth, looking around. There was a tall tree nearby. "Climb up there," She muttered to Bulbasaur, who used the vines in his bulb to whip up there. She put the Growlithe on her shoulder and quickly climbed up, Pikachu slipping into her bag.

Once at a high enough branch, she slipped the Growlithe back into her arms and Pikachu climbed back onto her shoulder.

Tiger nodded to Cubone. "Nice job" he said kindly. The charmander then looked away, and Tiger smiled. "It's alright. You'll get it soon" he said gently. Charmander then smiled and nodded, Tiger threw the ball into the air once more, and charmander tried to knock it out of the air once more.

A few Team Rocket grunts stumbled into the clearing. "Where did it go?" One of them asked. "It was right here!"

"Oh whatever! We have the rest of them, just let that one go! It's the runt of the litter, anyway," The second one growled, walking away. The second looked around before following. Mira sighed in relief and took her hand off of the muzzle of the Growlithe.

"Poor thing. You're shaking," She muttered, stroking its head. "They chased you all the way from Route 7, huh?"

Bulbasaur shook his head and nudged the Growlithe sympathetically. Pikachu hugged it. "Well, I can take care of you if you'd like," Mira offered, holding out a Pokeball. Growlithe nodded and touched it, being caught. She started to climb down carefully.

Charmander missed the toy again, but managed to hit a tree, and cause it to burn. "Uh....I think that's enough for now" Tiger said in shock, and saw a Poliwag jump out of the creek, and use a water gun on the flames.

Mira headed back. "I'm back!" She called. "What did I-" She stopped, seeing the burning tree. "O-kay."

"Charmander just needs to paractice his targeting skills" Tiger said slightly embarrassed. The Poliwag laughed in responce when the flames were out. "Though I think this Poliwag finds it funny..." Tiger said half amused.

Mira chuckled. "Thanks," She said to it, and turned back to Tiger. "I could only find one Pokemon. And it was being chased by Team Rocket. I think they scared everything away," She rolled her eyes. "And as for Charmander, it's better than how Bulbasaur started out! I still have the scar from when he accidentally tackled me into a window!"

Tiger laughed "I've still got a scar from when Cyndaquil and I first met" he said cheerfully. "I'm sure Charmander will get it soon" he said kindly.

Charmander nodded, and sighed. He felt awful for setting the tree on fire. The Poliwag then tried to cheer him up by using a bubble, and causing the bubbles to fly into the air.

Mira laughed as one of the bubbles popped on her head. "Of course he'll get it soon," She offered, smiling. Pikachu climbed on top of her head and popped another one with an excited laugh.

Poliwag laughed, and looked at Charmander who also laughed. "Wonder if this Poliwag has a trainer" Tiger asked, and looked around.

The Poliwag shook his head "poliwag poli wag Poliwag (no I don't. I was just released)" he said lowly. Tiger nodded solemnly and looked at charmander. "Poliwag poli poli (I'm Saffron by the way)" he said cheerfully.

Tiger looked over to the sky, "you said Team Rocket was in the forest?" He asked in concern, and glanced at Mira.
