"I saw him out one night on one of the buildings. He was so focused. He saw me on one of the ledges... And didn't hesitate to jump down. I was standing with him... I went in for a kiss and pushed him. I thought he would catch himself, like always, but... The grapple hook... Didn't work..."

The Joker visibly considered what she said and rolled his eyes. "That's something."

"The autopsy showed he died of blood loss. Broken bones. We found him at the bottom of a building," Cirus explained. "Unless you can find someone of better fit, who else could have done it?"

"Well he isn't stupid and he checks his gear. So if her fell from a building that means his grappling gun didn't work and his cape would have been torn. I'd say it was a set up. She took the fall and blame for someone else." Altessia sighs then asks annoyed. "Am I the only one that thinks logically? Or did everyone forget Batman's cape? And yes I have his cape. But that was either from a different suit. Or was repaired to cover it up." She also adds in that Baman had fast reflexes and there is no way he would fall and not grab a ledge.

"We didn't have access to the suit, Al. Or the grappling hook. That disappeared. We did the best we could with what we had. We did the autopsy, we scanned the hair... We're as close as we can. Even if you're right, there's no way to fully prove it on our side," Cirus pointed out.

"Well, that's what happened Joker," Catwoman replied nonchalantly.

The Joker narrowed his eyes. "Where's the hook?" She shrugged. "You don't have it."

"Why would I?"

"If you had it, I might believe you, kitty."

"Well Joker and and Ra's are both going to collect her head as we speak. So we can never find out. I would be surprised if the Batman that was killed like that was a clone. So the real killer can draw out his actual death as slowly as possible without being caught." She says. "I have a cape at least. I retrieved it from Joker. Plus it would help to know which suit he was wearing."

Cirus nodded. "Any additional help would be great. We've only made an educated guess--we haven't even told the public. Why do you think I called in the Joker? I knew he wouldn't believe me."

"Well we know why Batman falling off a ledge to his death is stupid. Do you expect me to believe he is clumsy? I know him." She says. "Can you get him to bring us Catwoman?" She asks. "Or was that not part of the deal?" She asks angrily. And with spiteful intentions.

Cirus looked taken back. "I know he didn't tell you," He said quietly, shaking his head. "I don't think he'll do it, but I can ask him," He replied, seemingly ignoring the 'deal' part of what she said.

"It was not Catwoman," The Joker said from the other end. "Clear as day. Her story doesn't work."

"Oh?" Cirus raised his eyebrows. "Willing to take a case?"

"You're kidding. No. Not funny," He hung up.
