A Dangerous Rebellion

Magda had slid the rifle into the back of her shirt, which was tucked into her pants, so it was unlikely to fall out.
Magda gently tapped the stallion's sides and he sped up to match the speed of the leader.
Andromeda dismounted as well before drawing her dagger. "We'll follow," she said softly, translating for Magda.
Andromeda paused, reaching out to touch a spot on her knee. She whispered a name, summoning the power she had been lent through that deal. "This way," she said softly, turning towards a hallway. She could see through things. Walls, doors, natural barriers. If there was a hidden room, as she much expected, she would find it.
Magda didn't seem phased by the bodies at all, she seemed more intrigued by what Andromeda had done. "How do you know? Did you use a deal?"
Andromeda nodded, looking past the death and destruction. "This way," she said, walking past Cassie. "There is a hidden room here. Three people are in there. Two are smaller. I don't see features. Just body heat right now."
Magda followed up beside Max, and gave another check to the rifle to make sure a bullet was in the chamber.
Andromeda nodded, walking up to the hidden door. "When you are ready, then, Cassie," she said, having translated for Mages while Max was talking.
Magda slid in when she could, weapon pointed at the ceiling so she wouldn't accidentally hit anyone.
Max swooped in to grab both of the girls and look them over. He hugged them to his chest, worried. "What happened? Did he take you?" He asked them gentle but firm.
"I took them to protect them! You're the ones who left them all alone!" The man snapped, jerking away from Cassie. "Get your dog off me, Maximillian!" The gentleman who had been hesitant at the meeting, an older member of the rebllion, growled.
Max turned to him, eyes narrowing. "Excuse you?"
Andromeda stood in the doorway, blocking the way.
Violet wasn't talking as she tried to cling to him, but her bound hands kept her from doing that.
Magdalena herself growled as she spotted the kids tied up. Who did that to a child? What kind of creature?
"An innocent man who did not take the time to untie the girls? You just put them in a hidden room? I see no food or water in here...or medical supplies...I did not realize it was a good habit to keep going girls tied up," Andromeda spoke up from the doorway.
"Well...I was...they..." He stalled, looking around.
"You hurt my grandparents! And my sister!" Hazel snapped at him, all piss and vinegar as she tried to get in front of Violet.
"Cassie, I am taking the girls out of here. I believe we know all we need to about what happened," Max said, gently ushering the girls out.
Violet still wasn't speaking, and was instead trying to reconcile with her emotions. She didn't want to teleport again on accident.
Magdalena moved to help move the girls out, knowing that Cassie would have the man well in hand, and she would be just outside the door if needed. A man who threatens children while the mother is still alive is a man who dances with Death.
Andromeda untied Hazel's bonds before offering the girl hee hand. Max swooped in, picking up Hazel in his other arm and holding her on his hip like he had Violet. The dark skinned woman followed after them, planning to help get glasses. "You'll be okay here, Magda?" She asked, looking over at her newfound friend to make sure she was okay.
Violet looked over at Hazel, her face looking a little pale and green at the same time. She didn't feel too good.
Magdalena nodded. "I will be fine. I just want to make sure Cassie doesn't have any problems. You never mess with the child while the mother still lives." She herself had never had children, but she saw what happened when a mother in her tribe lost a child to another person. It didn't end well for said person.
Max sat the girls down on the counter in the kitchen before looking them over. "Are either of you hurt?" He asked softly, brushing Violets hair back and squeezing Hazel's knee.
"I'm okay, daddy. Vi? It's okay. Momma and daddy will take us home. I've got you, sissy," Hazel said, hugging her sister. "Can you talk to me? Tell me what's going in, Vi, please?"
Andromeda nodded, remembering instances in her own past. The mothers went crazy with rage. But it did not end well for them after they got themselves justice. But that would not happen here. They were all free. "Messing with children in general is a very stupid idea and just cruel."
