Violet then fell silent as the realization hit her. "We're riding a horse!" She cheered with excitement.

"And I love it that I can make you happy with something like that," Cassie squeezed his hand back before she shifted fully and let him climb on.

"You started it, so I suppose you can decide how late we'll be," Jason said between the kisses he laid along Octavius' neck.

Hazel laughed, loving her sisters excitement. Razz turned his head, looking at the girls with obvious glee. He had made the small, twin, sugar carrying girls happy. And he was going to get to swim too!

Max climbed onto Cassie's back, hugging her tight a moment. "Run free, beautiful," he murmured.

Octavius smirked, stealing some kisses of his own. "Yeah? This sounds promising..."

Violet reached down to pat Razz's side having seen him look back at them. "Thank you for letting us ride on your back Razz."

Cassie huffed and then moved with Razz and the girls, not wanting him to run too fast too soon so the girls didn't fall off, so as long as they stayed on she ran beside him.

Jason kept his grip firm so as to make it harder for Octavius to reach him since he was hugging his boyfriend from behind. "Does it?"

Razz let out a happy snort, keeping up his soft pace. He was carrying tiny humans, after all. Important ones. And based on the fact they were not leading him, he assumed they had no idea what to do with him or how to ride. So he was going slow.

Hazel grinned, so planning to hug this horse with all she had. He was amazing!

Max smiled, at ease. He completely trusted Razz. The only other being he would be completely at ease with his princesses riding on the back of was their mother.

Octavius nodded, bitting his lip slightly, "it does," he murmured, feeling unsure of himself. Was he doing things right? He hoped so. Jason always responded positively so he assumed he was.

Violet giggled and simply hugged her sister's back as they rode.

Cassie slowly moved a little faster into a very gentle trotting pace, still not wanting the girls to fall, but she wanted them to have fun.

Jason smirked and lightly placed a couple kisses on Octavius' neck. "What do you think of this?" He asked in a whisper, knowing that Octavius might not quite understand exactly what he was asking about.

Hazel giggled, snuggling in as Razz picked up his pace a bit to follow Cassie.

Max smiled, resting his face against Cassie's neck as he watched the world zip by. He was happy right where he was.

"About us? Going further?" Octavius asked softly, breathlessly. He nodded. "Yes, yes, I like this very much."

Violet occasionally reached down to pat Razz, but for the most part she clung to her sister.

Cassie knew the way to the beach, and she also knew that if she went the wrong way Max would help guide her along the correct path.

(Gonna let them trot along.)

"I like that too, but," Jason paused to plant a few more kisses. "I meant more of holding someone's heart in your hands... My heart... You have my heart and soul in your hands Octavius..."

Octavius chuckled, reaching back to sink his hand into Kay's hair. "You have held my heart and soul in your hands since day one. I am honored to hold yours. And will protect it with all I have. I love you, Jason. No force can change that."

Jason kept his face just out of reach by tucking it into the crook of Octavius' neck. "I couldn't have said it better," He chuckled as he laid more kisses along any exposed skin he could reach. "Now, about how late we were going to be..."

"Hmmm...how late do you want to be? We could be a little or a lot...but maybe we should just be a little late and we can go sleep under the stars tonight?" Octavius offered.

"Hmm, sleeping under the stars sounds like a perfect plan to me..." Jason hummed as he placed more kisses. He was happy that he could give Octavius happiness and perhaps a bit of control over his own life and let him make his own choices.

Octavius smiled, turning his kiss to try to kiss whatever he could of Jason. "Thank you. I can never thank you enough...I will always want to show you how much you mean and how important you are to me...let's go see those girls play in the water. Shall we?"

"I think we shall, come on!" Jason chuckled as he let go of Octavius and took off towards the rest of their party.

Cassie slowed to a trot as they approached the beach but stayed beside Razz in case he bolted for the water.

Violet gasped and stared wide eyed at the vast puddle that was before them. She'd never seen such a big puddle before.

Octavius chuckled, taking off after him.

Razz stayed where he was, waiting for the bigger humans to come help the smaller ones off of his back.

Hazel was so distracted by the vast expanse of water that she didn't notice Max get off of Cassie's back and help Violet down before plucking Hazel off. "Look at the water!" She gasped, pointing excitedly. "There is so much!"

Once Max had climbed off, she half shifted back so she could help, but by the time she was ready to snag a girl, Max had gotten them both down. "Yes," She chuckled, "There is a lot of it."

Violet looked over at her sister, a huge grin on her face. "I've never seen such a huge puddle!" These sorts of comments along with her laughter flowed freely.

"It has to be a king puddle!" Hazel agreed, laughing as well. She laughed as Razz trotted his way into the water, splashing those nearby slightly.

Max chuckled, hugging both girls. "Have you ever swam before? Or are we going to have some lessons?"

Violet looked over at Hazel and tried to remember if they'd ever been swimming, but she couldn't think of a time that they had. "I can't remember if we swam before..."

Cassie moved in and hugged all three of them in a warm fuzzy grip. "I think lessons either way is a good idea. This puddle has currents and waves that could be dangerous."

"Do bathtubs count? Or big buckets?" Hazel asked. "That is all I remember having been in. Lessons would be good." She moved forward and toed the water. "You'll stay with us, right?"

Max nodded. "Good point. The currents can be very dangerousbut we will stay with you girls," he said.

"And we are here too!" Octavius add when he and Jay made their way over.

Violet moved with her sister and moved into the water up to her ankles before she stopped and waited for Hazel to come with her.

"Of course we're staying with you. There would only be a couple reasons we'd leave you, and none of them apply now." Cassie said with a chuckle as she moved up to Hazel's side, letting Max take Violet's.

"And we're fashionably late!" Jason smirked as he patted Octavius' shoulder before taking off at a sprint towards the water.

Hazel grabbed her sisters hand and Cassie's grinning. "Let's go swimming!" She cried, then watched Jay run towards it, laughing.

Max took Violets hand, chuckling as he watched his cousin. Razz gave a cry of delight and ran after Jay and Octavius who had of course followed Jason.
