August: Awesome New Features

I hope everyone is enjoying this special x3-Day! And now it's time for some new features to be released ^__^
While you were interacting like crazy, I sat in my office coding new mini-games :D Here we go:

Route 53 / Honeytree

The barrier between Emera Town and the city was finally repealed and you can now take a walk along Route 53!
You might quickly find a mysterious golden tree, that is smeared with honey. This honey is used to attract rare Pokémon that aren't obtainable from the Lab! Also make sure you've got some Poké Balls to catch it!
It's also said that shiny Pokémon are more likely to appear there. So brush some honey on that tree and start waiting!

Sky Gifts

It's now possible to send and receive Sky Gifts to friends or strangers on PokéHeroes! They might contain rare Items - or just some berries. It's the thought that counts, right? ;)
The Sky Gift Post Office can be found in the "Community"-section.
Note: This Event ends as soon as Shaymin disappears from Emera Town.

RetroDex / EggDex

Your PokéDex has been updated and is now able to collect datas about hatched eggs and also Retro Pokémon. Go and check it out!
In addition: Your PokéDex on your Userpage now also shows the amount of Pokémon you currently have from each species.

P.S.: Thanks to my awesome Artists (Abby and Leo Baskerville) for the artworks!

I love all the updates!
One question though: How will we know if we attracted a Pokémon? And will we have to fight it?

wonderful new features~ ^^;; Although, I have to second that question, Honigdieb. It doesn't seem that there's anyway to interact with the tree...

Honigdieb: Good questions! :)
To see if you attracted a Pokémon you must regularly check the tree. You will definitely notice when there's a Pokémon eating some of the honey (;

You don't need to fight them - but you have to catch them with Poké Balls. I forgot to write this in the first Post (Updated).

Wyrd: You need some honey first :)

Hmm... How frequently will that be? That we have to check?
Is it possible to put an exclamation mark in the top notification bar to mark the point a Pokémon is at the tree?

Does the amount of Honey you put on affect the chance of finding wild Pokémon? I do know that the maximum amount of Honey is three jars, but I was wondering what the effects of putting on several are.

Also another question: How long will that Pokémon stay when it's there?

No, there is no notification for your honeytree ;) It should be "difficult" in this point.

A Pokémon may appear after 10 minutes already or after 6 hours. Totally random - I'm not a Pokémon, I can't tell you :D

The more honey you put on that tree, the longer the Pokémon will stay. When it has eaten all the honey, then it leaves again.

Such an awesome updates today!

I have a question about the Sky Gifts:
After we send the first one for free, do all the next ones cost 5 nuggets? Or do their price increase after every gift we send?

Other than that, thank you for this. This is an awesome day here. ~

Nisky: The price will increase by 5 Nuggets each time you send a new Sky Gift :)
But every day that price goes down to 0 again.

Updated first post: The Sky Gift Event ends as soon as Shaymin disappears from Emera Town! So be quick to send some gifts to all your friends :)

I hope my Honey Pokémon comes before I leave for two days... I really didn't think this through. XD
Is there even a slim chance that it'll be there when I get back, or will I just need to hope that there's Internet?

I don't think that a Pokémon needs 2 days to eat your honey :D

That's true! XD
How long does each jar last, anyway? Will the wild Pokémon allow you to say?
