Pigeonstar awoke from his deep sleep and walked out into the camp. Him and Lionleaf were the only two awake. It was getting closer to leafbare and the clan needed to start stocking up on food. He would put as many Cats as he could on Hunting duty.

Lionleaf woke up and walked past all of the other Warriors, not wanting to wake them up. He hoped he was on hunting duty today.

Jaypaw was sound asleep in the medicine cats den. She dreamed of gathering herbs. As her dream went on she jolted awake and looked around.

Silvermoon slowly stirred as she heard Lionfang snoring softly next to her. She smiled at her brother before walking out of the den.

Lunarpelt was awake just a bit still in a sleepy daze. She stretched, and yawned quietly as she began to wake up.

Stormclaw was awake, and looking over the herbs he had in stock of the medicine cave. He made a mental note to go out looking for herbs later seeing as they were almost out of Marigold.

Pigeonstar climbed up to the top of the rock. "Fellow cats! I would like to call a meeting to order!" He said seeing some emerge from their dens.

Lionleaf backed away from the prey pile. He sat down and looked up at Pigeonstar. He smiled.

Silvermoon heard Pigeonstar and ran to get Lionfang before the siblings sat next to each other, ready to listen.

Ravenpaw scampered out of the den and sat down near the back of the gathering clan.

Stormclaw walked out looking up at Pigeonstar. Though he was still doing some math mathematical equation in the dirt trying to figure out how much marigold he needed.

Lunarpelt walked outside and sat beside Stormclaw watching Pigeonstar tentatively.

"First of all, I have Bad news. Leaf bare us coming faster than usual. We need to send as many Cats out to find prey as possible. We also need Stormclaw to give us the amount of marigold and poppy seeds we need to last us through leaf bare. I will send Ravenpaw out with one of the warriors to get those materials." He paused for a moment. "I have good news also! We have a new apprentice. Darkpaw, will you please come up so you can recieve the name of your master."

Ravenpaw looked worried, though saw how calm Silvermoon was. *She is one of our best hunters* she thought. *Maybe we will be alright.*

Darkpaw excitedly went up to Pigeonstar to become an official apprentice.

Silverstone calmly listened to the news, and decided they should be fine, as long as they all worked hard enough.

Pigeonstar looked down at Darkkit. "Darkkit, I, Pigeonstar, leader of AmberClsn, officially give you you apprentice title of Darkpaw. Your mentor will be Lionfang. Lionfang, please come and get Darkpaw." Pigeonstar smiled.

Lionleaf looked around, wondering who will be hunting. "Pigeonstar! Who will be hunting for prey?" Lionleaf asked

Pigeonstar looked down at her and said "Lionleaf, Warmheart, Silverstone, Darkpaw, & Lionfang, you all will be hunting together. Bluefeather and Jaypaw, I ask that you two go and get the medicine items needed. Silvermoon, I ask that you organize and tidy up the clan. Meeting dismissed! Everyone do what I told you!" Pigeonstar walked down from the rock and went to his mate, Lunarpelt. He purred as he rubbed against her.

Lionfang smiled at Darkpaw. "You ready to learn the full ways of the warrior?"

Silvermoon nodded. She glanced around to see what was needed to be done.

Lionleaf was thinking about how much food her and the others needed to get today, leafbare is only 9 moons away, plus we will have new kits by then, she thought looking over at Lunaepelt.

Lunarpelt looked around at all the other cats noticing Lionleaf looking at her. She smiled kindly as they made eye contact. Before nuzzling against Pigeonstar's chest.

Stormclaw cleared his throat. "I currently need 140 poppy seeds and at least 76 marigolds everything else should last us past the leaf bare."

Silverstone got up and went over to the hunting party. "Where shall we hunt today?"

Darkpaw nodded to Lionfang."Yeah!" Then she ran over to join the others to go on her first hunting mission. "I'm so exited! Let's go already!" she said as she turned to look at Lionfang.

"Thank you Jaypaw. I'll do my best to have everything ready for Lunarpelt before it's time. Please tell me if I am needed for anything else Pidgeonstar." Stormclaw said before walking back into the den preparing solvents for this winter to help with colds, and frost paws for the hunters.

Lionfang smiled. "Lets get hunting then." He looked at Silverstone. "I will take Darkpaw to the direction of the rising sun. This way I can train her along the way for hunting."
