Lionfang purred as he lead Darkpaw out of the camp. "I want you to tell me what you have learned as a kit when you hunted leaves in the camp."

"Well, I had to be fast... especially if I wanted to grab them in midair! Leaves are kinda boring to hunt though. They don't taste good, and they don't try to run away." Darkpaw explained to Lionfang as she walked alongside him out of the camp. "I really want to hunt a rabbit! That would feed more cats than a little mouse would."

Lionfang smiled. "Being quick is perfect, though it will take time for you to hunt a rabbit. For now, we will start with mice" he said. "While hunting mice you need to be careful. They can feel your paw steps."

Lionfang nodded. "Yes, and keep your tail above the ground. The slightest touch will send the mice scattering." He positioned himself into the crouch. "You try, then we will take a few steps."

Lionfang nodded. "Perfect. You will be a top hunter in no time" he said. "Now, when you step, you have to look at what you are hunting, as well as whats in front of you to make sure you don't step on leaves, twigs, or small rocks."

Lionleaf said "Let's go!" She ran out of the den and was waiting to pounce on the first rabbit she saw.

Lionleaf saw a mouse. She thought it was a rabbit so she pounced. She was upset when she only caught a mouse.

Pigeonstar walked over to the Queens' Den and started organizing.

Lionleaf noticed a rabbit. It was a big one, she pounced. She nipped the rabbits leg so it couldn't move. She gen went to finish the job. She grabbed the rabbit and the mouse and took them back to camp.
