In short, I want a official Pokeheroes Discord, where we can post pictures, talk, and voice chat (if one would want to). It would be different than just posting feeds, as we can immerse in deep conversation. Thats all folks!

(Maybe there is one that I'm missing out on but still)

If you want to have a deep conversation with someone you have palpad and also HeroChat for group chats and stuff.

I don't really understand what you mean @-Khalsesi but I want a official pokeheroes discord and thats why this id in suggestions, if that was what you were talking about :
Also, I just made a pokeheroes discord if anyone wants to join. I just want a offficial one made mpby Riako or an admin .

Sorry I had to google what you meant by "discord", as you don't really explain it in your first post. I don't think that's necessary personally. We aren't a video game where you connect to other players. If you really want to chat with others they have the forums and like Sony said you have Palpad/PMs for personal conversation. That and I don't believe the mods would be able to control what happens outside of the site which could cause potential problems, especially with some of our younger ears on the site.

When I first saw Discord, I thought that it would just be a voice chat. But recently I started playing Flight Rising and saw a whole new concept of the use of the website. People were posting pictures, chatting, just overall socializing about the game they all played. No one was using the microphone, and people asked questions freely, getting them answered by others without much of a delay. I think this would be a good idea as asking questions as a news feed gets annoying, not just for the one posting, but also for the ones recieving. You wouldn't believe how many times I checked my feed thinking that my pokeradar had sensed a shiny, but it was just someone posting a picture.
Also, one could let trustworthies moniter the discord, and mute/ban anyone that posts stuff thats not that good.

Mm but you can't really compare FR to PH. FR is aimed for an older audience (though I'm sure they have younger kids playing as well), while PH is more child oriented. As for answering questions, that's why we have the help forum. And it's not just the mods that answer, players do as well if they know the answer, so I don't think that would really change (especially since they relaxed the rules around spoiling badges).
As for the notifications. I feel you. I just finished up a long shiny hunt and I remember the frustration when you had that little number show up and it didn't pertain to your hunt, but it is a news feed. Not much you can do to stop that unless you purge your friend list.

Personally, I wouldn't use it. Everything you can do on the Discord you can do on the site, so I don't see much of a point to it.

I know what you mean, when you say that PH has everything thats needed. But pretty much scrunch it all together, and have 1 single chatroom. For the audience, though, to be honest, some kids are in worse situations than maybe hearing someone swear at a pixelized monster. And as I said, one could always block/mute someone disturbing the peace.

That sounds very...chaotic to have everything in one chat room. :\ As for the audience, well that is true...most have probably heard it all and I know kids that could put a sailor to shame, but again just because they know it doesn't mean it should be said because not all kids are exposed to that.

It sounds nice as a fan page, sort of like what you had made earlier. So you join at your own discretion but I don't think that they would make it official since Riako wouldn't have complete control over it like he does with this website.

This is p old but def no support lmao. you can make your own discord and discord has nothing to do with ph so theres no reason for it to be made into a suggestion lmao. you don't need admin/mod permission to make it yknow

@eraserhead well, they never said that they can't make one (as they did), they just want a discord chat room that's moderated by riako, which honestly i don't see the big deal

i don't think a social room about a mainly social and community (before gameplay at most) isn't a bad idea, people can talk together in a singular stream and oh hey, tired of typing and okay with it, a voice room!

i support this just because there's been a ton of nonofficial ones that have gone downhill very quickly, and it'd be pretty easy to put the join channel thing under the facebook stream

Until Herochat gets an update, support!

In all honesty, though, Discord already has very handy features (bans, kicks, separate channels, bots for even easier usage...) for a chat room, so it would be easier to use it. Herochat doesn't show previous messages and looks kind of clunky and well, is rather unused due to what I've mentioned.

Discord states in its ToS that it's 13 year olds and above, and there are lots of users who are less than 13
Having a Discord server might persuade kids to join, and Discord can then take action on the server and/or the owner
