Currently the Pokeradar feels imbalanced. 1.25% and 2.5% will make the players quit the game as it gets frustrating and feels more like a chore than playing a game.

The rate should be a variable depending on the rarity of the Pokemon. Premium users get a +5% chance over Basic members.

Chance to hatch a shiny [Basic] depending on pokemon rarity.
Easy -> 15 %
Medium -> 12.5 %
Hard -> 10 %
Rare, Starters -> 7.5%
Ditto, Quest, Unown, Mysterious, Special, Retro, Event, Legendary -> 5 %

That would deflate the prices of shinies a bit too much... it's not that hard to get shinies...

+10% for premium is also a bit too high.

If not +10% for premium, 5% would be adequate.

The current Pokeradar system is not at all rewarding to the players. About the deflating of shiny prices, it would deflate only the common shiny pokemon. There are already a lot of people who are quitting this game with their annoying hashtags. Maybe this suggestion will help many players to reconsider their decision to quit Pokeheroes.

I don't think that's why they're quitting? Most of the people I've seen leaving are either leaving because they've gotten bored of the game or because of real life issues.

Secondly, even 5% would be too much considering that right now it's 2.5%

Shinies are already common enough.
