I think maybe if a pokemon has a secondary type it has a 50-50 chance to show the secondary instead of the first in the lab

Just because there are no "downsides" doesn't mean an idea should be made. What are the up sides of this? What would this provide for us users? Is there a legitiment reason for this other than cosmetics?

This would probably make lab hunting harder in some cases. Which isn't necessary at all.
Also, Diana, how would it make it easier to spot the legendary birds?

How many Ice/Flying, Fire/Flying, and Electric/Flying Pokemon do you know, respectively? Not many, right? And most Fire/Flying types don't appear in the lab (Ho-oh, Charizard, Talonflame, etc.).

I think what their suggesting is having either the first or second type to be shown. For example, with Moltres, either flying or fire will be shown.

Ok for example someone only wants flying pokemon a flying pokemon would have a 50-50 chance to show flying instead of the first type so they could grab that egg if if showed flying

It was already suggested here (Not 50-50 but idea is generally the same)

Normal Gems for Ditto collected:

1 561 / 10 000

To get:

+Pidgeot,Beedrill,Slowbro,Sceptile,Swampert,Camerupt,Glaile,Gallade & Event Megas

So going by your example Mojoryan2003, what does that do? Okay I grab a Gastly egg thinking it was poison or something. So what does that do? How does this benefit me? If anything it puts me at a disadvantage not knowing which type is the main one. What if I wanted to hatch a poison type but instead got a Gastly? This seems to make things more confusing.

And you didn't answer any of my questions so I'll ask again: What are the up sides to this? What would this provide for us users? Is there a legitiment reason for this other than cosmetics?

And autumn's question of why would this be nice to have?

That didn't answer anything really, I don't even think that was a complete sentence haha. 99% of flying types have another type with it, flying/normal being the common one. So all this would do is what?

You aren't really saying how this would be helpful to anyone as a whole.

Have to say I disagree with that as well. You're only case here is the chance to show flying type instead of something else. Which I don't support. There's no need for it.
