Looking at the stone, Maru smiled, throwing her arms around Rayne.
"Thank you so much." She murmured, trying to hide her blush. "I'll
remember you forever.
She blushed deeply her heart pounding in her ears beyond happy to
have been accepted by such a beautiful girl. She hugged her back
nuzzling into her neck. She hadent felt this way in a lomg time.
She felt she needed to protect and adore her.
Ray couldnt hear what Maru said," Huh?" she asked looking into
Marus eyes smiling softly. Thinking to herself Have i really
fallen for this girl? Will she like me even with my past? Im just a
nobody her thoughts swirled in her mind
"nothing." Maru smiled pulling away. "I have something for you
too." Bending down, Maru took out one of her pendulums, before
retreading the ornament into a necklace. Moving behind Ray, Maru
tied the necklace around her neck.
Rayne looked down at the now awesome looking necklace and turned
around and kissed Maru on the cheek "Thank you so much ill keep it
forever." she smiles warmly to her ne pendant.
Blushing, Maru sheepishly rubbed the back of her neck. "Well you
gave me a present first." She said, embarrassed. However, when
Ricky yelled, Maru pulled Ray close to her, as a ninja star
spiraled through the air, right where Ray was moments before.
Anna rushed and threw a few more throwing stars. "Must kill all..."
she dazed.
"What the heck! Forty seconds ago you were fine!" Ricky yelled.
Forty...forty rang in Anna's head. The order to flee and clean all
evidence that she was there. She stopped for moment before flipping
Ricky. She slid quickly grabbing her ninja stars and throwing a
smoke grenade.
An idea sprang into Maru head. Perhaps something that the boy had
said changed the girls attitude. "That stupid ninja was trying to
kill the guy, but when he yelled something, her objective seemed to
change... objectives.... Nbers perhaps?" Maru mused. "Well, I have
about thirty different possibilities. " She yelled, wanting to test
her theory.
Tori had laid Corri in bed, and sat in the room. She stared out the
window, tears streaming down her face. Her throat was raw from
sobbing, but the door was closed and she wasn't waking up Corri.
I think numbers are the key to it." Maru said. "I think we just
have to find the right one. Forty seems to be run away, is just
said thirty, and I can sense her around this aream I suppose it's a
survalence number."
Widening her eyes, Maru closed her eyes, trying to get the ocean
out of her mind. Holding her head, memories kept locked away came
rushing forward. That horrific day played through her head.
