Smogs are a strange species, made of a mist-like smoke that smells like sulfur. Rumor has is that they come from Hell itself, crawling up from the ground and hiding in the shadows. This isn't true, while they may look like it, Smogs are usually made from the ash left over from a fire, and negative emotions. Smogs are rather hard to see, for humans, but animals can see them perfectly well...ever wondered why your dogs keeps barking at nothing?
Smogs live in dark areas, or dry ones. Smogs come in all shapes and sizes, each one unique. It is extremely rare to see a Smog made from positive emotions, but it does happen. Smogs avoid most humans at all costs, and are a very antisocial species. If they are seen, however, they are usually injured and or killed. Smogs cannot regenerate limbs, unfortunately. Smogs follow around the human or animal that they were made from, emotion wise, and will until they disappear, or, put simply, die.
other than injuries, your Smog can come in any shape or size, as long as it resembles an animal. all Smog eyes are white, but can be any shape, as previously mentioned. Smogs can be any substance you desire, whether it be smoke or, Hell, water. Smogs HAVE to be based on a negative emotion or a positive emotion--positive ones are hard to find, really. Q there is based on depressing thoughts or ideas, and he has an injured leg. he's made of smoke, and is the species mascot.

They are cat like creatures with bodies like lava lamps and really fluffy tails. .w. Suggest names and whoever suggests the name we choose for the species is allowed to make their own for free :3
