We all know that when you are ready to go to highschool i went through exams. In this universe humans have superpowers that make them different from one another and to go to highschool you have to go through bunch of tests, exams and quests so you can know what your superpower is.

If you fail all other ways to get to your superpower they send you on quest with bunch of other students. You get all needed supplies and map. Place where you are put is far away from rest of humanity and there are stories of people not making it through quest.

What leaves you with question: Why am I telling you this? Well it seems you failed all other tests and exams to discover your superpower and you will have to be sent on quest with 7 other future students.

Emi sits in the truck, glancing at the others with her. Like her, they all have yet to discover their super powers. I wonder whether we'll all survive, thinks Emi. She's heard the stories about people not making it through the forest. Fear coils around in her stomach, but she tries to ignore it as the truck rumbles on.

Yushiro plays with a deck of cards that he brought with him. We are gonna have so much fun on this trip, I can't wait to get out of this truck and start our survival, he thinks. "So, are you all ready to have fun?" Yushiro says to all the other people in the truck.

Rena was sitting in a corner in her timid mode reading a book. She heard Yushiro say something but she was too shy to answer him, 'Its better if i don't socialize' she thought as she put her glasses back in place.

Iarilo had his hood on. His face showing worry, what was rare for him. His eyes were searching through other passengers. 'Are they ready for this? Am I ready for this?' He questioned himself. He knew good enough that some people got hurt, or even died, on this quest.

His group didn't even get information on where is their quest going to take place, but that was normal. He hoped their quest won't take place in rock mountain, there isn't a lot of food or anything really. He also knew this 'trip' won't be easy anyway it could be taken. There was possibilty for them to be teleported to the starting place, but it has been decided that they will travel.

He just wanted to break the silence when boy spoke up. It was blonde boy with blue eyes, he tried to remember his name but realised that they never officially met. ''If by fun you mean not dyin', sure. But you know there were a lot of people that died durning quest. Maybe we all die.'' He emphasized word died and whole last sentence. After few seconds started laughing. ''Just kidding. We might survive. But I don't even know your names so...'' He said it cheerfully.

Rena looked up from her book at Iarilo, 'Maybe I should at least introduce myself, but nothing more than introduce, because i don't want them to think of me as strange and abandon me like everyone did' she took a few deep breaths and said trying to sound loud, "I-i am Minami Rena."

"I'm Yushiro Fujinaka!" he said in a loud voice. "And by fun I do mean what you said, but I also mean that we become great friends, learn more about each other, and find our powers!"

After he had said that, his face looked worried for a short while. What if we do die. What if we never find our powers. No. I won't let that happen to any of them. I'll have to try my best. He finished his thought with a serious look and then quickly changed to his cheery look.

Ocarina was curled up on the truck, sketching lightly. Her picture depicted a girl on a tree swing with a man pushing her and a lady smiling as she sat at the tree trunk. She looked at the image, finding it both happy and intriguing. She shifted, signing the drawing on one of the branches, hiding well. She placed the date on there as well, and she was actually proud of her art.

Rena looked at Yushiro, 'he's so loud, and he says that we'll become great friends but of course I'm not joining in, if i did that they'll totally abandon me' she thought. Rena went back to reading her book with a sigh.

Emi watched the boy named Yushiro, who seemed to think that he's become friends with them all. He looked cheerful, but she noticed how his faced grew serious for a second. Well, perhaps he will be a good companion on this... She struggled to find a word other than quest. 'Quest' sounded too formal. "Journey," she whispered, "it's a just a journey. But... To where?" Emi sighed and buried her face in her hands.

Val was engrossed in his book, trying not to let the awkward silence get to him. Soon, someone spoke up and then people were talking. At this point he was half listening to the conversation, hoping that he could indirectly find useful information. To his rather horrible luck, all he found out was some of their names and that most were pretty insecure about the upcoming quest. "I'm Valentin, but most call me Val. Don't start driving yourself mad over this, we haven't even started." He stated, annoyed already.

Larry was uncharacteristically silent as they traveled. The reason was most likely the fact that he had dozed off at some point after their departure. Which wasn't that surprising. Even though the lad would be hesitant to admit it, he was somewhat nervous about this whole quest thingy so he hadn't gotten much sleep the previous night. As the people around him started talking, Larry was completely unaware of the conversation as he sat slumped in his seat, fast asleep, his head lolling slightly with every bump in the road.

However, the talking around him did rouse him after a while. After all, it is rather hard to sleep while a bunch of people were talking right beside him, some of them none too quietly. As Larry drifted back to the land of the awake, he became aware of some indistinct chattering, though he couldn't understand what was being said. That is, until the last of the sleep clouding his brain had dissipated.

"-start driving yourself mad over this, we haven't even started."

Larry caught the end of someone's sentence, sounded like a guy, but he didn't really have any means to understand what the mystery person meant without any context. Though it wasn't that cryptic, there wasn't many things the group was about to start.

"Are we there yet?" Larry asked with a light humorous tone as he stretched his sore muscles a bit. It wasn't the best place to take naps in. "Because if we aren't, it was rather rude of you lot to interrupt the beauty sleep of this oh so honorable man." The lad continued with a joking tone and a smirk on his lips.

Hearing the others begin some kind of conversation,Emi looked up. "Mad? He's mad? How so?" she asked. Emi found it a little rude to call the boy mad. She turned to the other boy that had just woken up.

"And really, if we were there don't ya think that the truck would have stopped?"

Iarilo listened carefully as everyone introduce themselves, at least until drama started. He felt awkward when boy, Val, was obviously annoyed. After Rena spoke up to blonde boy, what he could only guess was warning, and Emi obviously getting angry, Iarilo realised he should do something. It wasn't everyday that he needed to survive with bunch of people he didn't know and if the start fighting they all might not make it out alive.

''Listen guys, let's not kill each other before we even start our quest.'' He, awkwardly, laughed when he finished sentence. ''I am Iarilo, if anyone has been wandering.'' He was still smiling, when he tried his best to change subject. His yellow eyes looking around truck to see everyones reactions.

Rena had gotten tired of looking from one person to another she shifted more into the corner and started reading her book, which she was holding upside down, her mind was preoccupied by thoughts,'I really shouldn't have socialized or why did I come here in the first place?! Was it because I was too curious? Or because I'm and idiot?'

Yushiro went back to playing with his cards, to only listen to everyone else.

"Eh, I guess you've got a point," Larry replied to Emi offhandedly after she pointed out that the truck would've stopped by now if they had arrived in their destination. Though it wasn't like he had been serious with the question, he wasn't stupid. Seemed like his 'companions' weren't the types to appreciate jokes. What a shame.

Still, he couldn't resist continuing his joking around as few of the other kids pointed out that they shouldn't kill each other before the quest started. "So, what you're saying is that we should kill each other after we've started this thing?" Larry asked with a smirk. Of course he knew that's not what they really meant but he couldn't help but tease them a bit. Besides, he was no fan of killing. Quite the opposite actually.
