No support. It would make opening up boxes way too easy. Besides you can always just trade with other users.

No support, that's why we have trading forums just for this reason: if you need an item, or Pokemon, you can go there to see if they have what you need.

If you mean you want it like a gem exchange then no it's probably not easier.

A gem exchange makes it easier for gems because we are transferring around anywhere between 1-200 gems at a time, maybe even more. This makes it easy so instead of trading back and forth Pokemon carrying gems 200 times you just go to gem exchange.

Now keys and boxes will most likely never ever be traded for a bulk of even 20. And if this box/key exchange is just something that'd say

Looking for: 1 green key Exchanging: 1 red box
Or
Looking for: 1 green box Exchanging: 1 red key

Then there is no point. You can just as easily go to the trading forum, or even your feeds, asking for that exchange. Having a whole new program exchange for items that are rare and aren't really in bulk, except boxes but that's nothing compared to gems, is unnecessary.

Anyway if you're comparing it to the gem exchange than you're wrong. It would actually be harder to trade your items. The thing is I've noticed that people don't normally use the GE unless they're trading from the trade threads or feeds or something to that extent. And anyway the GE is really only useful if you're trading in bulk.

In theory it's a decent idea, I mean you don't have to waste your time setting up a GTS trade, but overall not really worth it. The amount of work involved in making this would not really be worth it considering chances are you're not going to be exchanging a lot of keys/boxes.
