Lewis was bumbling around with Axel when he ran into someone. "Oh,
sorr- ACK!" He exclaimed. The gold eyes, hair, and height all
scared Lewis. The person he ran into was obviously not an adult,
but intimidating nonetheless.
Lion looked up in shock where he had lost his balance for a split
second. He then blinked softly to the stranger, "uh no it's
alright, I shouldn't have been walking so close to the dock" he
said softly. "Are you and your Growlithe alright?" He asked kindly,
and held his hand out out to try and help Lewis up.
Lion helped him up and laughed under his breath as the Pokemon and
trainer reminded of his friend. "Alright then" he said kindly and
nodded. He then picked up his Fearow's pokeball off the ground
which fell out of his hand in the event.
"Oh, is that a pokemon of yours?" Lewis asked, a bit intrigued. He
realized he was being nosy and tried to apologize. "Erm... I mean-
sorry... Im just looking for the pokemon center. Im new here..."
Lion nodded, "nah you aren't being pushy" he began, "and...yeah
it's my trusty Fearow I caught him before I got into the union cave
back in Johto on my first journey" he said kindly and nodded. "I'm
heading to the center now if you want to tag along, I need to pick
up my Pokemon anyway" he replied kindly.
"Oh, Jhoto?" Lewis asked, "Im from Jhoto too! I just left to start
journeying. My parents wouldn't let me leave because they thought I
was "special" for being able to talk with pokemon..."
Lion nodded, "hmm my friend, and ex champion. Tiger can speak
Pokemon too." He said softly, "but then again he was treated
differently until he went to be Elm's apprentice" he said very
softly as he headed to the center.
"Oh..." Lewis said, but then shrugged, "I never had that many human
friends when I didn't show my ability openly anyway. I just wanted
to get out there." He paused for a bit. "So you cant speak to
pokemon?" he asked.
Lion shook his head, "I can't, but I can understand what they're
saying by the tone of their voice" he replied with a sigh. "In fact
we've came by quite a few special people on our last journey to
save Hoenn" he replied remembering the events from three years ago.
"Oh, where everything started flooding?" Lewis asked, "Yeah, I was
practically on house lockdown then." Lewis laughed at his parents
freaking out those days. "Oh, there's the pokecenter!" Lewis
pointed at a white building with a red roof a block away.
Lion nodded slowly, and headed to the center. "Oh I forgot to tell
you, I'm Lion" he said to Lewis introducing himself. "It's nice to
meet you" he said kindly before he walked to the center.
"Nice to meet you, I'm Lewis." Lewis said, following to the
center.
When they entered, Lewis was dumbfounded by how large the
pokecenter was. In the middle, was a huge machine for healing
pokemon and checking to see if they were fine. Behind it, was an
entrance to the healing for more serious cases. "Wow..........."
Lewis said.
Lion nodded and went to Joy, who handed him his Pokemon. One of his
pokeballs then opened by itself and a friendly Mightyenna jumped
out and tacked Lion to the ground. "You're back you're back" the
Pokemon said cheerfully to his trainer. Lion laughed, "it's good to
see you too, Doom" he said as he pushed the dog Pokemon off him.
"Wow." Lewis said as he handed Axel to Joy to check him for
anything, "You're pokemon are pretty excited to see you." "This
machine is freaking me out!" Axel said as he was scanned. Lewis
chuckled at Axel.
"Yeah, but then again Doom is only three years old. We found him as
a newly hatch in Hoenn when we came here" he said softly. Doom
looked at Lewis and wagged his tail cheerfully, "don't worry the
machine won't hurt your Pokemon" Joy said kindly and placed the
pokeballs on the machine.
(Sorry use to saying pokeballs not just pokeball, *thinks of
something that doesn't make sense to balance it out*)
"No they're just filler, empty pokeballs I've got to use them
because this machine seems to send the energy to the wrong slot if
I don't" she said softly, and set the machine up. It then healed
his Growlithe. Joy took his pokeball off and handed it to him.
"Here you go it's all healed and healthy to go" she said kindly.
Lewis took his pokeball and turned to Lion. "Well... I don't really
know where to go... I don't have any family in Hoenn... Do you
think I could crash at your place for awhile? Sorry, its just that
I don't know anyone else..." Lewis felt awkward asking to stay with
an almost-stranger.
Lion nodded, "sure though I'm waiting for my friends, Tiger, Victor
p, and the others to come back so it might be a bit." He said
kindly, he then began to feel hungry. "Until then would you like a
bite to eat? I'm getting pretty hungry" he asked Doom looked at
Lion and wagged his tail at the word food.
