(Understandable. School can get difficult.)
Al just stared Into the fire pit. "Probably people," he said very nonchalantly, "I mean- as a collective, not individually." He paused for a moment to collect his reasoning for what most people thought of as an outrageous and weird thing to say. "There's a lot of things that would be better in this world if people didn't feel the obligation to interfere with every small bit of the world."

[c]Six years. That's a long time to know someone. Al felt like he could relax more knowing that. Evanna seemed decent enough. Her pokemon liked her, and the two seemed to know each other for a long time. For the moment, Al decided they were probably alright.
Al sighed, and relaxed a bit more. "How long has it been... Wow. I can't really remember-" He looked over to Nyx, who was currently using his tail to swing back and forth from a tree not too far from the campfire. "You're better at remembering stuff than I am. How long's it been... Seven years?"
Nyx shook his head. "Ten." he said. "At least when we met for the fist time."
That almost surprised Al. He had known Nyx for over half of his life. That hadn't even occurred to him.

(Holy karp I thought everyone was gone. Lucky I checked the site today)

Soren was standing awkwardly at the door. He was no help at all in the fight earlier, and he felt really bad about it. Especially now, seeing Lily in so much pain. "I-if you need help treating wounds, I think I can help..." he quietly offered.

Soren waited quietly for the others to come up with a plan. He wasn't one for plans, and wasn't good at coming up with them, so he just let the rest of them talk it out. He sat down next to Gallade in silence, Tora next to him.

Soren turns to the Vespiquen briefly to express his deepest apologies and turns back to the group. "What happened...?" He asked. He scanned the group briefly. "Wait... where's Lily and Gallade?"

Doren practically has to dive out of the way of Jake as he exits the hive. He was late to get here, as usual, likely because he was nose deep in a book and concentrating when the combed arrived. In fact, he was holding a book under his arm at the moment. "H-hello?" He exclaims in surprise as Cacer and Wes pass by him as well.

Title: Is there still time to join?

Name: Soren Amadeus
Age(10-15): 14
Gender: Male
Appearance(Photo or description): Soren is a short and lanky kid, standing at about 4'10". He has short and straight black hair, medium skin tone, and blue eyes. He wears oval glasses, and has a small horizontal scar across his cheek. He typically wears a short sleeved button-down and jeans, and is almost always carrying a book or two.
Personality: Soren is a friendly, but introverted kid. He's a bit bookish and quiet person, but he very much cares deeply for the people whom he knows enough to call friends. He hates seeing others being sad or hurt, because it tends to negatively impact him as well. When he sees others like this, he tends to go from his usual quiet and calm self to being very focused and determined in fixing the issue. He tends to improvise rather than plan things out, but often looks to others for decisions.
Your Pokemon Partner: Flaaffy(Tora)
Chosen Legendary: Suicune

Ability: He can "purify" things, such as cleaning contaminated water, detoxification of poisons, and even cleaning wounds.
House Number(1-5): 4
Are you okay with sharing a home with someone?: Yeah
Other: He for some reason has an affinity for playing the ocarina, and is pretty good at it too.

Al Sat down by the fire, and beckoned Evanna and the rest to do the same. Despite it only being fall, the nights often got very cold, and Al could already feel the cutting winds begin to blow. Despite his general distrust and disliking of these people, he didn't want anyone catching a cold. That would just be more of an inconvenience.
Moments passed without Al saying a single word. He simply listened to the crackle of fire and the faint noises of other pokemon in the forest. To him, it was one of the most relaxing things in the world, and it certainly helped him unwind a bit after all that had happened so far tonight.
"So," Al finally asked, "How long have you known each other?" He looked to Evanna and Pyro.

(Honestly)

Al shrugged at Evanna's question as he began to dig a small hole for the fire pit. "Maybe nothing will happen." He suggested. The fact that nothing had happened, even though the supposed three others were here, only increased his suspicion in nothing happening at all.
Al continued to prep the fire pit. "Will I need to start the fire, or can one of your friends help me out?" He asked. He was very deliberate in not saying "your pokemon" to the group. To him, that made them sound like tools.

As Al was returning to the clearing. He heard the two speaking, loudly. He sighed. The clearly didn't know that the quieter they were, the better. This was going to be an annoying night. "People just can't seem to enjoy the silence." He muttered.
Suddenly, he realized there was a third voice. Someone else was there. He quickly rushed to the clearing to see what was happening. There was another person there! However, it looked like nobody was acting aggressive,so there was at least that. "I brought firewood," he said to announce his prescence.

Al was already gone before they noticed the intruder. He had volunteered to ring firewood to get away from the others. Once he felt there was a large brought distance from the camp that nobody would hear him, he slumped down against a tree with a sigh. "I hate having to talk to humans," he muttered. Al was never good at talking to people. He always felt distant from others, even at the orphanage, and human interaction was often awkward. If being with these people was going to be a long-term thing, he wasn't going to have a fun time.

Al remained sitting for a bit, before finally standing. Firewood may have been an excuse for leaving the group, but they truly did need it if they were to be camping. Before setting out, Al stood still for a moment, and simply listened to the sounds of the forest. The kricketune, the noctowl, as well as many other nocturnal pokemon had finally begun to wake up. He could hear a symphony of kricketune in the distance, performing to their young and others who delighted in listening. All of these new things, but at least the forest hadn't changed.

"Hey, I got some firewood," Nyx said as Al snapped out of his daydream. "Oh! Thank you..." Al said. He didn't know how long he had been listening to the music, but it felt like awhile. "Yeah. It looked like you needed some time to think or something," Nyx explained, "So I just went and got what we would need." He gestured to his tail, which was carrying a large bundle of wood. "It took a few more minutes, but it hasn't been that long."

Al grabbed the bundle of firewood from Nyx. He had probably kept the group waiting long enough. He didn't want them even more upset with him. "You okay?" Nyx asked. Al paused for a moment, and took a deep breath. "Yeah, I'm good. Let's go." There was a pleasant smile on his face. As they walked, Al began to hum the tune the cricketer had performed.

Al slowly, but noticeably relaxed his stance. His expression changed slightly, and while his face showed little sign of emotion, he was confused and shocked. These where two of the other three he was supposed to meet? Almost instantly they both seemed to dislike him, which he didn't mind, but if he had some sort of "mission" or something he had to complete with them- that would be a problem. At least the pokemon who accompanied the two strangers seemed content, and even protective of the humans they were with; That was always a good sign that they were one of the better ones.

Nyx climbed up to Al's shoulder, carefully watching the ponyta as he did. He was uncharacteristically silent, a sign of caution and sometimes fear for the small pokemon. It seemed to him that these two humans were one of the better ones, and luckily, his precautions towards them were deemed as aggressive and morally bad.

Al gave out a sigh. "I've already eaten" he said. "I suppose you two aren't one of the... bad ones. I'll go get some firewood." He pointed to the human who had declined food as well. "You keep watch while I'm gone. There are powerful pokemon out here, as well as poachers who will gladly take from the forest, and people who aren't cautious." He turned to walk away, but had a quick double-take. Had he seen the one with the growlithe before? He vaguely recognized her face. He shook his head and continued to the forest to search for firewood. He probably just saw her once on one of the rare occasions he went into the nearby town.

"Shoot," Nyx said as he began to back up. Getting trampled by a flaming horse didn't seem that appealing. Al was about to say something when he saw this, and quickly rushed to get in front of the small Aipom. His stance was now more defensive, as his eyes darted from the ponyta to the human, careful to watch the movements of both.

Nyx quickly assessed the area around the ponyta to see what it could be protecting, and his eyes quickly caught a glint of silver fur. He soon realized there was a small eevee, one with an odddly colored coat, sleeping begin the two strangers. "There!" He said, as he pointed the small feature out to Al. Al took notice of it immediately. The thing didn't seem to be very old, and again, it had drastic differences to any eevee's coat he had seen. Looking from the eevee to the ponyta who stood guard, it suddenly clicked.

There was a look of disgust on Al's face. "So you're one of them," he muttered disdainfully. "One of the ones who likes to judge pokemon by their looks."

Al gave a slight nod towards the stranger. Once he saw the human, he immediately clammed up, and almost all emotion left his face. This was typical for him, as he never tried to let any human read him, or get a sense of his softer side. He didn't try to take a hostile stance, but it surely wasn't friendly.

"Don't worry, I'm not looking to rest for now," he responded. "And no, I'm not lost. Thank you for offering however." Al purposefully did not mention his own name in this introduction. It was was best strangers didn't know his name.

Meanwhile, Nyx was attempting to sneak past the girl and the pokemon to see if anything interesting, or incriminating, was in her posession. This was as also typical when encountering humans in the forest. Al and Nyx commonly made sure that no harm came to the forest and its residents, and that includes assuring that those who do bring harm to the forest don't return. At a glance, this person didn't seem to be one of those people, but it is always better safe than sorry.

As the sun turned from its oranges and reds to purples and blues, Al began to slow his search for these "others," whomever they might be. Staring towards the night sky, and witnessing what was indeed the full moon only drew confusion.

"I swear the voice told me I would meet these others on the night of the full moon," Al muttered. "Maybe it was a mistake? Or some kind of trick?" "That doesn't make sense though," Nyx chimed in, "Unless you're telling me you just coincidentally developed the ability to speak with me fluently the same night you had a weird dream, there has to be something here." Al sighed. "You're right," he said, secretly hating that he he had to use his friend's two favorite words, "I guess we keep looking."

It took a long while, but finally Al and Nyx saw something, or someone, of note. It was a ponytail, grazing in a clearing. But not only that, this ponyta looked different than others he had come across. Of course, no two pokemon are exactly alike, the ideal specimen being only a standard set by humans for their own purposes, such as "beauty pageants," but this ponyta looked drastically different from any ponyta he had ever seen. The fire from its mane and tail were a bright blue, rather than a burnt orange. "I think they might be one of the others," Nyx suggested. So nodded in agreement. He then stepped out from the treeline to make himself known. "Hello," he greeted to the equine creature, "I think you might be someone I'm looking for."
