Tiger nodded "sure" he said as he returned Charizard. "Cyndaquil
come back" Tiger said softly. Cyndaquil nodded and ran to Tiger, he
then looked at Luke. Tiger then walked to Lion, and looked at
Lewis.
Luke quickly scanned the cyndaquil, " Cyndaquil, the fire mouse
pokemon- " The pokedex then started rambling on about all the
info on the rest of the evolutions. He laughed, "Thanks again."
Cyndaquil nodded and went back to Tiger. Tiger then nodded to
Lewis, because Lion was giving him a signal to tell him. "Yeah my
Cyndaquil can speak human" he said slightly cautious.
"Oh really? You learned it?" Lewis asked, "That's interesting. I
didn't know you could do that. Then again... Ive been able to
understand it since as long as I can remember..." Lewis thought for
a bit. There was never a time that he could remember not being able
to understand pokemon....
Tiger nodded and thought for a moment, "well my friend used
telepathy on me and helped me learn. I mean if a Pokemon can learn
human then a human can learn pokemon. Just with a bit of help" he
said somewhat cautiously. Don't worry it'll work out Lugia
said to Tiger telepathically. "Tiger just learned a lot more about
Pokemon after he dissapeared for a year when he was five" Lion said
to Lewis calmly.
Tiger sighed, and heard the surprise in his voice. The boy then
looked at Cyndaquil, "well I was attacked by team rocket, and they
took my pichu. I tried to give chance but I fell behind after that
two Pokemon were in a heated battle. One was gravely injured, and
the other was going to finish the job. I had to help the injured
Pokemon so I took the finishing blow for the injured one" he said
distantly. He didn't want to relive that day, "in the end the
injured Pokemon sent off a warning blow to the attacking one and
the attacking one fled" he said. "In the end the injured Pokemon
took me in and healed me, he taught me how to speak Pokemon and I
spent a year of my life with it" he said trying to not give to much
away.
Lewis took the story in. The story was very tragic, and he could
tell Tiger didn't want to talk about it, but he couldn't resist
asking one small question. "... Who was the pokemon...?"
Tiger didn't respond instead he pulled out a silver wing. "My
guardian, and a legend that my father, Frost hatched" he said
softly. "Lion has the Ho-Oh that attacked Lugia. The Pokemon use to
be brainwashed by Team Rocket but his old Rocekt grunt owner
managed to break him out of it" he said softly. Lion nodded, and
pulled his rainbow wing out.
Lewis looked from the rainbow wing, to the silver wing, to Lion,
and the Tiger. "This is insane..." he muttered, "My first day here
and I run into two of the best trainers I've ever seen..."
Tiger and Lion out their summon items away. "I wouldn't say I was
the best trainer" Tiger said simply, "after all were only as strong
as we think we are" he said boldly. Lion nodded, "and we've seen
other trainers with guardians. In fact a lot of them are in our
group" the gold haired trainer said kindly.
Lion nodded, "yeah" he replied. Tiger then agreed "they're all
legends, and trainers are either born with them, or they gain them
by proving themselves" he said kindly. "Though there's only one
legend of a kind in the world so it would be hard to get one" Tiger
finished.
"Really..." Lewis said, being quite intrigued. Suddenly, an image
flashed through his mind. he saw the outline of a large figure, its
red eyes glared at him. Lewis saw the glint of it's body,
reflecting light like a crystal. Then, a voice boomed inside Lewis'
head. "You know, you didn't always understand pokemon..."
the voice said. Lewis' head felt like he was going to explode. He
clutched his head and closed his eyes, pleading for it to stop.
