I have only noticed it lately. Was it an update Riako did? If so maybe he should remove it >.>

I completely agree. Alot of users that do thousands of clicks at a time are doing so while watching youtube etc. and not looking at the clicklist. It was only one or two now it seems to be very many, the moving text are the worst it moves my "train" button to the bottom of my screen :(

As almost everything in this life, sometimes it's needed to make a red line between people's right to do whatever they like when it affect to other human beings.
Here, in a small scale, we've got an example. It can be pretty for you to make your pokemon name move or have another colour, but if it disturb many people, it should be limited for the greater good.

I don't want to sound serious in extreme, but is what I think.

When it comes to
making your Pokemon's name look 'pretty' [vs] interact | hatching eggs and levelling up Pokemon
I'll rather be able to interact efficiently.

I support this.

i guess its also difficult to find rules for this, like "you're allowed to use code xyz but not code xy", since there are also users who aren't familar with coding at all and may accidentally mess up, when experimenting.

thats why i'am for removing it on pokemon-profiles in general. if someone messes up the coding on his/her userpage, it's not a big deal but on pages, thousands of people need to visit, it is...

you can still spread your creativity in fanart-topics and on your profiles, also sigs and avatars or sharing arts in feeds... as for me it's enough...

100% support. Click lists are beginning to get annoying with this junk already. I don't care if we do away with it altogether, or if you code it to preform better. But it needs to stop asap.

Also, I refuse to click on anyone's pokemon who has edited it's name in such a manner. So.... gl, trolls. -_-

I agree with this but having the color is really cool, so maybe after a certain level, 100 for the first one, you could unlock a way to change the color of your Pokemons name and every time theres a level thats past! So a example is 100-250-500-750-1000-1250-1500-1750-2000-etc.-etc. And from this way it hopefully wont mess with the Clicklists!

I agree that it needs removing.
I won't be interacting with any pokemon with their names edited in that way.

I fully agree with this. Clicking on the click lists is now beginning to get annoying - every 10 pokemon or so having some random coding with the button further down or with one example I've seen, nearly at the bottom of the page. Sure, it's cool people being creative and stuff but clearly a lot of people are finding it a burden. You can't get through lists as efficently at all compared to a few days ago and naming a pokemon a random line of code? Don't know, just seems kind of unimaginative (if that makes sense!), people now no longer bothering to name their pokemon possibly something cool or what-not. :/

I completely agree. If you still want to give people the option to change colours or other simple things, it would be easy to put a choicebox in the change nickname section or something, but the fancy stuff is pointless and annoying. I've come across at least 1 person, in the last couple of days, who has insisted on putting a marquis setting on all of their pokemons' names, so that you have to scroll down the page to click the train button.

Yes, it's supposed to be a nick~name~ but when clicking, it's just a colourful name. People don't scream try to block your interaction, they personalize their Pokemon's nicknames. I'm neither tottaly with or against it, but I won't agree with this suggestion as long as it would imply deleting colours.

QuoteSo on this whole situation:
I support the removal of coding in nicknames.
There, I've said it. Instead of remaining neutral as I have done so in most cases, I'm directly taking a side. Why? Because for one, it's not actually possible to do a "harmless" modification such as changing your nickname's color in HTML5, as the feature has been removed and you can only do so with CSS. Secondly, the only cases of this happening I have personally seen are cases where they openly disrupt the page, intentionally or unintentionally, and I believe this to be a serious problem.

To add to this feed:
Sure, there are certain HTML codes which can change the color of text, it would in no way fit in the limit of 22 characters if you actually wanted to "spruce up" your pokemon's nickname.

Let's add an example of this.

<h2 style="color:red;">

This simple code would change the color of text (as well as changing its size), but even this is 23 characters long. Consider the fact that this is excluding the name and the ending tag.

It should be removed, it's ruining the clicklist :s i have to go down for some pokemon to click..

Flamesilocks clicked for nothing for 20 mins while he was watching a video, because of that.

This is really anoying

I support this. So many people use this function, and it will only grow, making the clicklist more annoying than it already is.

I'm gonna have to agree with it.. while I have stumbled upon this issue at hand, and thank Heavens it didn't freeze my page, there's also this issue at hand where someone has like this 'emoji' on the pokemon 'nickname', and I hate it because.. well how should I explain it.. ya know those types of emoji, not like the PH smiley's and ish? those ones.. well when you copy/paste it to prove to someone that you interacted, it appears like this

"You fed/trained *insert nickname here*" .. the rest just disappears into the void.. that has actually happened to me on multiple occasions and it drives me mad for some reason. :')

My full support. I thought I was going crazy when I coudn't see train button. I don't care what people do on their profiles but interacting should be undisturbed.

Yeah this is a duplicate, already made a thread about this as well as the blank pokemon names in the bug/complaints forum.

But I support.

oh shoot, I literally /just/ saw that, too @_@
I'm sorry about that, sweetie!

heres the original thread in regards to this problem @ everyone
Support should definitively go to them, instead of this one!

@ Mods, you're more than welcome to lock this one up, since Shinyteddiursas' thread came first :)

The reason I kept both threads around, is because shinyteddiursa's was a bug/complaint, not a suggestion (or at least, that's where it was posted and what it felt like to me), while this was a suggestion that users could vote on.

You can't support a bug/complaint, only post in the thread itself ^^'
