Yes it does. But you have to enter key words, not sentences into it.

Fine, then dont use the search button. I just went to page two of "New Features" and there was a suggestion for searching in storage boxes. In that suggestion, a user had pointed out that the suggestion had already been made here (its a diff. One). There was no need to use the search button at all

That forum is of no use we have the Ctrl+F feature wherein we can search in our storage box. like this


i am explaining this one where we don't have letters, characters anything, just Pokemon Images.

But not many people interacted with it even though you bumped it. Many users have given their opinion in my forum.
Now it's up to the Mods to decide which forum should be locked.

I don't see why you need to search through your boxes if you're viewing them that way though. If you need to link someone to a specific one, just go to your User Storage Boxes, click on the Pokémon and select "View Summary". If it's someone else's Storage Boxes, you shouldn't really care about what's in them, unless you're in their trade/ sell box. And even if you are in their trade/sell box, it's not that painful to just scroll through it.

[Also, there are other forums that suggest this, as ~Hatoko~ mentioned. Please go bump the original thread. Whether this has more discussion or not, that is the original, and creating duplicate threads is against the rules~]

I support this idea to the max. Sometimes I need to know if I have a certain Pokemon and I can't find it, then I obtain that Pokemon and realize I already have one. So I hope this gets implemented.

(Note that the search bar is only visible when there are at least 20+ Pokémon in someone's storage box)
