Raven flinched at the water and turned his head to spit it out, rubbing his eyes with exaggerated grumpiness. "You're overestimating my swimming skills," he pouted, brushing the water lightly so that a tame wave flicked towards her. His crimson eyes became animated again in an overwhelming mix of playfulness and excitement.

"Ah, I see." She tucked her knees neatly by her chest and rested her cheekbone on them, looking at Crystal by the side. It was a laxer position for her, but she felt more comfortable in front of Crystal. "They're nice to you and Matthew, thought, right?"

Adriane blocked a bit of the water with her arm and started to laugh a little bit.
''your acting like a little puppy and it's so adorable..!'' she teased, giggling once again and blushed faintly, though not seeming to be aware of the faint blush on her face.
she smiled brightly as she looked at him and sighed.
''i'm glad that your feeling emotions again.... it has to be such a relief'' she said, her smile fading a bit.

''i was the one to really snap and be rude... but everyone's pretty chill truthfully, and Matthew's dating the cross breed hybrid girl'' Crystal said, chuckling quietly as she leaned on the table.
she looked over at the window sighed softly, becoming a little lost in thought.
''i wonder what it's like to experience love.... my life was so screwed up until i came her so... i never put much thought into it at first, but.. somehow i still yearn for love i guess....'' she muttered.

"Oh, no," Raven replied, treading the water so that his head barely bobbed above the surface, "I never had them in the first place." He rubbed his eyes and yawned, his jaws parting to reveal his almost razor-sharp teeth. For a brief second, he lost momentum and dipped under the surface. Raven squirmed a bit in surprise and popped back above it, turning his head to spit out the water.

Wisty's hair fell in front of her cheek and she decided not to move it--she was blushing, anyways. "I wouldn't know. Goodness, did you say that Matthew's with someone? That's..." She sighed, searching for the right word, "surreal. I'm happy for him, though." She nervously bounced between topics. "I'm sure you'll find love if you look for it. You're..." Wisty bit her tongue to stop herself from saying 'charming'.
"Well, anyone that knows you as well as I do could certainly love you," she said and then regretted it. That wasn't much subtle-er. She clenched her teeth.

''still, it's nice to see you smile and just open up in general Raven.... and- oh dear, are you alright???'' she said, her sentence cutting off when she asked her question, a little worried.
Adriane moved forward a bit and lightly grabbed his arm, trying to help him find his balance again.

Crystal sighed and shrugged.
''Matthew deserves a happy life, so it's good he managed to find someone....'' she muttered, then looked at Wisteria and smiled a little.
she chuckled and ruffled her hair.
''you never know what life will throw at ya'' she said.

Raven began to laugh, although it was breathy and soft since he was doing his best to suppress it. "I'm alright," he reassured, beaming at her as if to prove it.

Wisty squirmed away and stacked her hands on top of her head, instantly becoming flustered. She whimpered, "Crystalllll, you promised to stop doing that!"

Adriane sighed and smiled, blushing faintly yet not realizing it.
''okay.... um.. hm, i lost my train of thought.. oh well'' she said, now trying to float on her back to try and relax.

"That's okay~" Raven said happily, almost sing-song. He looked at her and attempted to flip on his back, but he lost control and began to slowly spin around in circles. He didn't try to control it and seemed content.

she watched Raven and giggled, then soon started to relax herself.
this is nice.... peaceful and soothing.... Adriane thought, enjoying the water as she floated.

"Hey," Adeline said upon seeing Crystal in the kitchen. She sat at the dining table with Allium and Rogue, shuffling a deck of cards. Allium gave a curt wave--an uncomfortable one if anything--and Rogue smiled at her.

''i'll be out of your hair in a sec.... finding snacks for me and Wisteria..'' she mumbled, using Wisteria's full name instead of Wisp.

"You're not a bother," Adeline replied happily, pausing before she dealt the cards. "You two care for swimming?" She looked up and glanced at Allium and Rogue. Rogue shrugged and Allium nodded, rolling back her shoulder carefully.
"Raven and Adriane are still in there, last I checked, but they prolly won't mind."
Allium looked up, "Are you sure Raven wouldn't mind?"
"Nah, he's fine. He likes you guys but he's just shy--it's a matter of time before he warms up." She set the cards down and stood up, walking towards the pool.

Crystal soon closed the fridge and sighed, going over to the cabinets and grabbed a package of sugar cookies.
''you'll end up walking in on something if your not careful you know, knock on the door first'' she said, then looked over at Allium and sighed.
she scratched the back of her arm and looked away a little.
''i'm.... sorry about earlier...... what i said at you and Matthew was uncalled for....'' Crystal muttered.

Adeline smiled at the thought and quickly responded, "I doubt there'd be anything to walk in on." She fiddled around with the bow in her hair before taking it down (only to tie it up again immediately). Allium was already looking over at Crystal and wasn't quite startled when she spoke to her and her facial features seemed to be forgiving if anything. "It's alright. You were worried about Adriane's safety."

"Oh, no, it's no big deal!" Allium said, her demeanor softening the moment she saw Crystal's guilt. In her head, the voice of all of her previous mentors chided her--she pushed it away. "I forgive you and I'm sure Matthew does too. You sure know him a lot better than I do." Allium offered a much friendlier smile, "I'm sure we can be friends as well."

Allium's eyes glittered with sudden interest and she nodded energetically. "Yeah, that'd be great!" She said, her last lingering bit of hesitancy gone; she had always forgiven easily. She waited for Crystal to start walking and stayed next to her, still unsure of whose room was whose.

Wisty twirled her fingers around her closed fist, luminescent spell circles blooming on her skin. She flipped her fist, her concentration minimal, and opened it to reveal a small butterfly made of light particles. It was a spell that she had spent months trying to learn when she was young and was now able to do as if it were easy as a breath. She put a stop to her reminiscence upon hearing the footsteps coming from the hallway. The butterfly disappeared and she focused for a bit before realizing that there were two sets of footsteps. Wisty stood up and walked towards the door, opening it for Crystal and whoever she had brought with her.

she stopped in front of her room when the door opened and waved at Wisteria casually with a cookie sticking out of her mouth.
