Allium giggled, "Sure." She stood up, batting him lightly across the head and pulling the other strap of her backpack over her shoulder. "I'll be off to bed now," she said, looking out of the window. She paused in her steps, turning around with a concerned face. "How are you feeling?" She asked, forgetting that he had a headache.

''i'm... doing alright i guess.... i'll probably be awake for a little while longer...'' he muttered, giving her a reassuring smile.

"Well, I suppose I will too. I'm not used to getting much sleep... although that must've been because of the shadow in me," Allium said, her happy tone diminishing a bit. Her pupils flitted back to their dragon form for about two seconds as she sat back down in the chair next to Matthew, putting her elbow on the armrest and resting her chin on her fist as she looked at him. "I can only imagine the toll that that incantation took on you," she murmured, tempted to check his temperature, "That curse had been on there for a long time."

''well..... it's worth it, but i didn't want you to suffer like i did if it lingered in you longer then it already had.... um... also about the incantation itself...? if the user plans to use it on someone who needs it, the user would only need to simply touch the person who needed the incantation, like a hug or simply holding hands or putting your forehead against they're forehead..... the.... kiss i gave you was.. more me wanting to kiss you....'' he muttered, looking away as he blushed brightly, rubbing the back of his neck.

Allium blinked, her face turning scarlet. "O-oh," she said, her voice faltering. She wasn't sure how to respond and so, for the longest time, she just stared at Matthew. She stood up and sighed, turning to him and brushing her ponytail behind her shoulder. "I don't understand humans too much," she said, "especially since I'm not a human hybrid like you... But I'd be okay if you did that again." She took his hand and pressed it to her chin, a fire dragon gesture of affection. She paused before lightly pressing her lips to his knuckles and walking away to go back to her room.

Matthew's face grew a brighter red and he just sat there, a little stunned before he got up and followed after her, lightly grabbing her hand.
''o-okay with me doing what again......?'' he asked, a bit confused on what she meant.

"Kiss me, you said." Allium turned back and met his gaze as she spoke, something that had been trained into her since birth. She had only recently realized how many of her habits had been forced onto her. She paused, her golden eyes glistening in thought.
She put a finger to her chin with her free hand, not bothering to pull away from him. "I suppose we might want to get to know each other better first. I've hardly known you for... three days?" She cocked her head, unsure. She then shrugged dismissively.

''o-oh, um.... w-well we could um.. talk more in the morning then, it... it is pretty late'' Matthew said, a bit taken aback at her reaction, but didn't want to let her hand go and didn't seem to have much intention on moving away from her quite yet.
she's truthfully right... and i hardly know much about her.. maybe it'd be a good idea to get to know each other more..... he thought, rubbing the back of his neck with his free hand.

Allium looked back down at their hands, laughed, and slipped away so that she could stand in front of her door. "Goodnight," she almost sang, disappearing into her room and closing the door behind her. She circled the intricately-decorated black rug, making sure not to bump into the circular bed or the table in the middle of the room.
The color schemes of the room fit her rather well, consisting of mostly reds and dark woods. As for the fire part, there was a fireplace and a chandelier. Allium looked around and noticed the candles lining the wall, and wondered why the room was still so dimly lit. She didn't mind. Allium sighed and walked over to the tall windows, tugging the maroon curtains shut. She then locked the door and walked into the small bathroom, turning on the faucet and waiting by the edge of the large tub.
She thought of Matthew, a little bit unsure of where she wanted that to go. She had been taught how to act towards almost every situation, but the only thing she'd learned about love was what was assigned to her. And she had always seen that as more of a nuisance than anything.

Matthew blinked as she disappeared into the bedroom she picked out and sighed, heading to his room before disappearing through the doorway.
he closed the door behind him and walked over to his bed, which was surprisingly large as he crawled to the center and flopped, shifting form's from his current one, then to his hybrid form, then into his true for before he sprawled out on his stomach, stretching contently as he relaxed a bit.

(Time skip 'till morning)
Raven had woken up too early. At least, that's what Adeline had assumed. She had always been quite the early bird; she was out and about before the sun came up. But Raven had always woken up before her and she had only recently realized that it was because he hardly slept. Shadow dragon nightmares, as he had told her. He was able to doze for three hours until the nightmares jerked him awake but somehow still walked and fought as if he was at his maximum amount of energy.
So she never bothered him about it. Adeline leaped off of the top bunk, landing with a soft thump that caught his attention. "Are the others awake yet?" She asked, walking over to the mirror on the closet. Raven only shrugged, sitting criss-cross on the carpet. Adeline just rolled her eyes, messily tying her hair up in a ribbon and pulling back the curtains. Raven flinched as she did so, Adeline laughed in response. She gestured for him to get up as she walked to the living room, quietly in case nobody else was awake.

Matthew was sitting out in his recliner reading one of his books and had the lamp on, that way he could actually see the pages as he read.
he glanced up from his book and waved to them, then went back to reading his book.
Adriane was still sound asleep in her room whereas Crystal was in the kitchen making breakfast for everyone, wanting to help out some since Adriane and Allium had made dinner for everyone last night, and had little Ent running around helping her.

Adeline had quite quickly noticed Crystal and said a fairly normal "good morning" to her before sitting down. She would've considered offering help if it wasn't for the fact that she was a trainwreck in the kitchen. She also assumed that Crystal preferred to keep to herself rather than speak. She slouched into the softness of the couch, scanning around the cottage again. It had been quite some time since she'd had an actual shelter, much less a human one. Raven sat on the other end of the couch, shifting uncomfortably and looking at his hands in silence.

Crystal gave a small flick of her hand as a quick greeting without looking away from the stove and soon focused on cooking again, already having a plate getting close to being packed with pancakes, and waited to fix the egg's until she finished.

''what, no hello for me? i did wave'' Matthew said, never looking up from his book as he spoke.

Adeline only laughed lightly. "It was a general greeting, but if you insist, a bid you good morning, Matthew." She glanced out of the windows and at the sky. The sun had just risen and the atmosphere was fading of its warm palettes and Adeline had the strangest feeling that she had woken up too late.

''hey Matt, go see if Adriane, Allium, and Rogue are up'' Crystal called from the kitchen, getting the eggs ready as she prepared to make a few different eggs to fit anyone's preference.

Matthew perked up and booked mark his book and sat it aside as he got up, then went to go do what he was asked to do, going to check on Allium first since her bedroom door was a bit away from Adriane's room.
he stopped at her door and knocked.
''hey, you awake Allium? Crystal's made breakfast this morning'' he said, loud enough to where he hoped she heard him.

Allium flinched at the sound of Matthew's voice and immediately scolded herself for doing so. Don't be pathetic. You can't have someone scare you like that, she thought, but it was more of her mentor's voice than hers. "Yeah, I'm awake," she said, her voice still a bit soft and slow from sleep. "I uh... I'll be out in a minute." She was silently glad that she had decided to lock her door as she straightened her shirt. She flicked her wrists away from her body and the water from her hair pulled out, floating a shaky circle above her hands. She had it float to the bathtub, which she had fallen asleep in, before breaking control. Without bothering to use a proper brush, Allium ran her fingers through her hair and quickly stepped out of her door, smiling at Matthew and uttering a quick "good morning" before he walked away from her door.

he smiled and quickly snatched a hold of her finger's, mimicking the same gesture she did with his hand last night before he went to go wake Adriane up.

Crystal was soon making scrambled egg's first and hummed to herself, seeming relaxed and content to be cooking for everyone, finding the thought soothing.
i may not know how to make some thing's, but pancakes and eggs are more my specialty she thought with a satisfied chuckle to herself.

Allium blushed, momentarily frozen as he walked away. To her, it seemed just a little bit more affectionate than any human gestures, but all of it was affection the same. She pulled her hair over her shoulder and silently went to the living room, noticing the fragrance and recognizing it as pancakes.

Matthew soon told Adriane the same message he said to Allium and went to see which room Rogue was in.
