Pumpkin hid herself a bit, not wanting to be hurt. She would be visible but able to defend if needed.

His jaw dropped, seeing Pumpkin. "Is that...that's....you have a dragon? I kind of...hurt one earlier..." he admitted, looking sad. Pumpkin watched him, curiously.

Reaching into his bag, Jake began to fiddle and tinker with something. Then he asked Pumpkin to bend her head so he could fix it to her. "This is going to keep it straight so it can heal.

Pumpkin did as he asked, being good and patient. Jake was quick, gentle and scratched her ears for her after. Pumpkin licked him, then licked Sam. Dragon! He knows a male dragon! Can we meet him? Please? she asked.
