I've recently made it to trainer level 8 and wanted to buy a berry garden and start using that. I've gone to the page and there is a pop up window with Lorelei that I don't seem to be able to exit out of. I've taken a screenshot of the problem to see if I can get any help with it. I've tried zooming out to see if the 'x' was hidden but it wasn't there even after doing that. It seems like the window is just stuck on that intro message and I can't interact with anything on the page.

I still have not been able to solve this issue. I'd very much like some help on it.

Title: the problem with this is not isolated

this problem isnt isolated to one person. and i cant spend my time looking for the announcement that its being taken care of so ill put it here i have had this problem for oveer a month. is that normal for problems to take that long to be solved???

I'm not sure if this'll help out entirely or not, but maybe give these solutions a go to see if it'll help.

Have you tried ctrl +F5? it'll force the cache to refresh itself, and may remove problem.
If not, have you tried logging into PH from different web browsers?
Maybe the X got a little funky on you in your current browser, but may shop up in another?

@Girafarig Thank you very much. I tried ctrl+F5 and it didn't work, but I did try using a different web browser. Oddly enough it let me go through the tutorial fine on Mozilla Firefox but not for Google Chrome. I really appreciate the help. I'd recommend doing that if anyone else has this problem.
I'd also like to add on to what I said before. The pop-up window still doesn't let me do anything in Chrome when I go to it so I do need to finish the tutorial in Firefox. I'm not sure if there will be additional pop-up windows after I am done. I will post after I am finished.

There will be additional blue pop-ups whenever you unlock a new recipe (usually because you raised a level). From what I know, they can be closed by refreshing, because they're not necessary to continue playing. They're merely 'to let you know' information, not additional 'How to play' information.

I play the Berry Garden on Chrome myself, and I know I've missed 'new recipe unlocked' messages by refreshing, but I'm not quite sure if what's blocking the tutorial from being closed, will also prevent those messages from being closed.
(but posting when you're finished is a good idea :) )

@Catlady I did figure out the refreshing bit as well. It just doesn't work on the window when there is an option to click next. For example working to level 5 gardener level. I had to use the berry garden within Firefox because I couldn't refresh the window away. With new recipes, cooking pot, ect refreshing works just fine and solves the problem. Honestly, I'm just happy that I can use it now. It's odd but growing berries in Pokemon Y was one of my favorite things to do. I got kind of obsessive and collective for it until I was able to grow and hoard all berries.

@Carrot84 I'd try the other browser window and take Girafarig and Catlady's advice. Like I said everything worked just fine after I finished the windows you couldn't just refresh out of in a second browser. Best of luck to you though. ^^
