She followed him on the way to the bike. As many as they'd been on , she still couldn't quite get used to going on these missions.

Damon strapped on his helmet and handed Lucy hers. Then he threw his leg over the bike, starting it up. "I think I know the way. Should we stop and get your hair done before we get there? Or after so it lasts a bit longer?"

She settled on the bike, putting her helmet on. " Whichever would make better sense time wise I'm up for either.." she fitted the straps on the helmet and wrapped her arms around his waist.

She nodded " sounds like a good idea ' she slipped down the face shield of the helmet. it was always good to be careful on a bike like this.

She grabbed onto his waist just a bit tighter as they took off. Still hoping that her gut feeling was wrong and this guy was just normal, well, normal enough.

Damon smiled, liking her arms around him. Soon, they were moving fast down the highway. He'd been this way once or twice so when he came to a town that was big enough to be safe but small enough to not be too much, he pulled off. "Alright, my lady, let's see if we can get you feeling more like yourself," Damon called back. He was on the look out for a store or a hair salon. Come to think of it, he could do with a haircut himself. It was getting long.

She leaned against him from the bike moving. " sounds good , maybe if we look a bit more ' normal ' this person will be more likely to trust us.."

She slipped off the bike, and stretched a bit. " Hopefully they have space and time , cause it looks like they know what they'd be doing.."

Damon nodded, dismounting and setting his helmet in it's storage place. "Let's check it out," he said. Then he led the way inside. The bell rang, signaling their arrival. As luck would have it, they had both the opening and the time. Damon's cut didn't take long so he hung out while the dye set in Lucy's hair.

She sighed, luxuriating in the familiar feeling and the familiar scents. Of course if she'd known the stylist she would have been a bit gossipy but as it was she was chatty enough to pass the time. Either way it certainly helped to take her mind off the worry over the mission.

Soon, their hair was styled and they had paid. Damon grinned, taking Lucy's hand. "Feeling better, my lady?" he asked, heading back out to the bike.

Lucy ran her fingers through her newly bright red streaked black hair and grinned. " Definitely , I know you think I'm pretty either way but I've been doing this to my hair since I was in middle school so yeah its kind of normal to me now "

He shook his head. "There are some missions that are like that. I am kind of excited but that's because I have this silly hope," he said, blushing slightly. Spotting a sandwich place, he steered them that way to get lunch to go and eat by the bike.

"I've always hoped to encounter another dragon. At least with people who we don't know their other form for sure. I am very happy to have meet another one," he said, smiling at her, "So I don't really need to meet another. If there is any out there. Probably isn't. But it's a habit and those die hard."
