"Ah, it seems that I must go now. I'll tell you later, for now you'll have mingle with the other mortals." Laroc said, excusing herself and moving towards her throne. The Goddess of Truth nodded in greeting towards the Goddess of death, not wanting to act disrespectful in front of one stronger than herself.

Shano silently slipped into the crowd, hiding in the shadows because he wasn't one to party. "Frost correct? Fortune must be toying with fate.." He mused, the Ninetails a bit worried that the Articuno might subject him to harsher treatment because of his species.

Titus: //he walked beside Laroc while going up to his throne/ Milady. //he noted gently, looking over to the white-haired Goddess

Soren: //without hesitation he went back up to his throne as quickly as possible. He had to slow down though, since he was behind a handful of the other gods aswell

"Quite gentlemanly of you, kind sir." She quietly said, softly smiling back at the ebony haired god. Laroc was a bit uneasy, it's been a while since she's last seen other gods and godesses in peace. 'To say that I used to be a stoical merciless goddess...' The Reshiram thought to herself, glad that the old her was history and hopefully stay that way.

Elva stood off to the side of the room, nearby the food table, a small cup of juice clasped in her slightly shaking hands. Her brother Jonas had left her only a few minutes ago to check up on his wife, Mathilde, and their son Keaton. She felt awfully exposed being alone around all of these people, and couldn't help worrying that something would go wrong despite the ceremony beginning in only a minute or two. She looked down at the half-finished drink in her hand, not noticing the man until he was by her side. "Hullo there missus, wot are you doing over here all alone when you could be dancing with me, eh?" The man said, towering over Elva's short frame, the scent of alcohol lacing his breath. "O-oh, I, um," Elva stuttered, glancing around her for Jonas. "I-I'm just waiting for my brother to come back, s-so if you don't mind-" She was interrupted by the man, who had grabbed her arm quite harshly. She winced as he squeezed her arm in response to her pulling away from him. "Now now missy, why don't you just come with me for a little dance?" He said, a cruel smile on his face. "I-I would prefer not, th-thank you very much." She said, trying to pull away but nearly spilling her drink instead. Elva's panic grew as the man refused to let go, prompting her to do something she considered awfully rash. With a small "sorry," the altaria tossed her drink in his face, fleeing in the opposite direction. "Why you little- Just wait till I get my hands on you!" He growled, chasing Elva in hot pursuit as she scrambled through the crowd. She may have made it away, if she had not tripped over someone's foot, causing her to tumble to the ground. She whimpered as she nursed her scraped knee, looking up only to see the man she was trying to escape from leering over her. She scooted back several feet, only to bump into a wall. "Looks like you're out of places to run, girly." The man sneered as Elva gave a small squeak of panic.

Andra sighed "Yeah. And I totally forgot, I feel bad about it. But.. then again would it be bad if I missed it?" she wondered then looked around the crowd "I'll be right back." she told Morta. She left and walked around for a bit, she noticed Elva on the floor and a strange man above her who looked like he was about to beat the crap out of her. She rolled her sleeve up and cracked her knuckles. She then speed-walked her way over there and punched the man in the face, quite hard. "Lay off. Don't make me hurt you even more." she growled at the man, giving him her intimidating glare. "You don't treat woman like that." she added.

Rose, at the announcement of the ceremony starting, was making her way to the drink table, feeling a bit parched. Her trip was cut short however, when across the room at said drink table a man was getting way too friendly with another of the "sacrifices", grabbing her arm against her protests. The girl, to Rose's amusement and satisfaction, flung her drink in the man's face, enraging him in his drunken stupor. The girl, adorned in an altaria dress, ran away, though she didn't go far when she tripped and scraped her knee, while her pursuer towered over her until she had crawled up against a wall.

Rose had been speed walking towards them the entire time she saw the events being played out. While another girl was beating up the creeper of a man, Rose knelt down to the girl, making sure she was fine.

With a smile on her face, she spoke up, "Are you alright, hun?"

"Brother, if you please." Ein looked over at Akash, who replied with a raise of his eyebrows and a simple, "Where to?"

"Over there." Ein pointed out a specific place in the crowd of mortals to their godly twin.

"On it," Akash nodded. The two stood up in unison and linked arms before walking behind Akash's throne and disappearing. The pair reappeared in the crowd near Elva. Ein immediately detached themselves from their brother's side and went over to Elva. They gave a silent thanks to the others at the scene who had rushed to help.

"I knew I'd find you here," Ein stated with a smile as they extended their hand to the Altaria girl on the ground. "I believe this is the first time you've met me? The name's Eindride." And you're Elva Lange. It's been a while, Elv, it's nice to see you again.

Morta sighed as Andra was leaving, and was about to stop the Godess from leaving. She'd just called everyone up- and many gods were still missing, she didn't need anymore. She stopped, however, because she noticed a small commotion in the crowd of mortals. She watched Andra, and a mortal girl come to the aid of another, and Morta felt her blood boil. She marched forwards, heading straight for the girl's attacker. Mortals, who normally avoided her while she was calm, practically leaped away, trying to avoid her obvious wrath. "Just what do you think you're doing, you disgusting creature?" She said icily, using her most serious, and frightening tone. She could practically taste the people's fear in the air. "Do you really believe any God would allow such unacceptable behavior? " She snapped. It took all her willpower to stop herself from doing anything too drastic. "Perhaps since you seem so fond of violence, we should return the favor?"

Grimoire scowled as she watched the scene. "What the hell? Does every drunkard really lose so much sense? To attack someone on today, of all days-" she said, seething, but trailed off as she noticed Morta stomping over. "Ohhh, not good for you, buddy-" she murmured, actually taking a few steps back as Morta passed by. "Yeah, not good."

"I just punched him though." Andra told Morta and shrugged like it was no big deal "Unless you want me to take out the trash.." she added. "And, I noticed a bunch of mortals and gods coming over here, anymore?" she asked everyone near her. "No? Okay." she then looked back to the man and kneed him in the gut "Ugh." she spat. "And I'm Andra. Andra Rayquaza." she told Elva. "Mind if I waste him?" she asked Ein. She wanted to let her anger out on something, she had anger issues. If it wasn't obvious enough. How dare he? I'll send him to the Distortion World! If Giratina doesn't mind, hehe. she thought, jokingly.

Ellenor watch Andra as she sped through the crowd. She only just had time to wonder where she was going when the goddess punched a drunken man in the face. Morta instantly stormed over and began threatening the man with death in her voice. "Dear Arceas, what on earth is she doing?!" Hopping up, she took to the air, speeding over the heads of the mortals. When she reached the goddess, she noticed a frightened looking girl leaning against a wall. Her knee was pretty badly scraped and she seemed panicked. Another woman seemed to be trying to console her. It didn't take a genius to figure out what had been happening. "Got to give Andra props on this one. I doubt anyone would have noticed without her." Ellenor hovered just behind the man, blocking his backwards stumble. "You sir, have made a very poor decision today. Assaulting someone who is obviously an offering? Very poor choice indeed." The air around the man pulsed for a moment, before she shoved him towards the exit. "Leave now. And I'd steer clear of thunder storms from now on." She turned to Morta. "I understand you are angry, and justly so, but your frightening the mortals. Any other day and this wouldn't be a problem, but not today. Calm your rage and let's get on with this thing

With a small sniffle, Elva gave a gentle nod to the charizard gijinka, rubbing the beginnings of tears out of her eyes. She gave a small gasp in surprise as two young men appeared in the crowd of people, one of them walking up to Elva and offering her a hand. "O-oh, um, nice to meet you? I-I'm Elva, Elva Lange." She stuttered, her face flushed for more than one reason as she accepted the help, delicately sliding to her feet. "U-um, thank you f-for the help." She mumbled shyly to the gijinkas who had come to her aid. She gave a timid grin, wincing her the soft fabric of her dress brushed against her left knee. "O-oh, I forgot about that." She said sheepishly as she glanced to her injury. "I-I don't suppose any of you have something to help with scrapes?" She inquired timidly, pushing a loose strand of her light blue hair behind her ear. Just a moment later, her brother pushed his way through the crowd, worry lacing his features. "Ohmygod Elvie are you alright?" He fussed over her as Mathilde and Keaton stepped up behind him. "Elvie did you see how that lady decked that guy?" Keaton chirped, the little dratini boy bouncing in place. "It was soo coooll!" "Calm down Keaton, I'm sure all Elva here wants is a little peace and quiet away from your harassment." Mathilde said, calming down her son. "I-I'm fine, really, you don't have to worry about me." She murmured in that quiet little voice of hers, glancing to Ein for just a second before turning back to her brother with a flushed face. She hadn't realized she was still holding his hand, and she deftly released it when the Goddess of Death stormed up to her assailant, scolding the man and offering to return the favor. "Mind if I waste him?" The woman who had captured Keaton's attention -apparently Rayquaza herself- inquired. "I-I mean, I'd honestly like to prefer anymore violence today, b-but I mean, it's your call." She said in a small voice to the legendary. Another gijinka approached, pushing the man towards the exit, erasing any chance of him being wasted anytime soon, as the woman more than suggested getting on with the ceremony.

((Rip)

Morta stepped back in surprise as Ellenor interrupted her threats. "Ah, I.... was I truly being that bad?" She murmured, glancing around at the frightened mortals around. She immediately felt herself engulfed in shame, and she hung her head. "I see..." she murmured, taking a dew, deep breathes to calm herself. She turned to the mortal girl- obviously an offering, seeing her this closely. She felt a stab of guilt, at the girls shaken appearance. She took a few steps towards her, but made sure to keep a comfortable distance. "I am so very sorry, Miss. I did not take into consideration how upset you must've been, and have probably only frightened you worse with all my shouting. Please accept my apology." She said quietly, bowing her head a bit before she stepped back. "I believe, it might be better if I just returned to my place." She murmured, looking unhappily at the crowd around her. "Oh, I've made such a mess.." she immediately started walking back to her own seat, and sighed, letting a bit of her facade fall.

Grimoire hummed quietly, boldly making her way up to the center of attention- the girl who'd been attacked. "Yo, heard you needed somethin' for that nasty lookin' scrape? I have a few healing salves in my bag, if you want it-" she stated, kneeling down to get a better look at the injury. "Sheesh, must'a been runnin' pretty hard to get one this nasty-" she whistled, standing back up. "I get that you probably don't feel like you need anythin' for lil scrape, but they can get wicked infected if you just leave it. Maybe get one of them gods to heal it?" She suggested, shrugging. "That's just my two cents, at least."

Everything had turned into chaos in mere moments. Ren had absolutely no time to react to all this disorder and seemed to turn into stone in the minutes that followed: a young woman, cornered by an obviously drunken visitor... Many people crowding around... Everything was a blur. Ren's mother had her hand over her mouth and their father had approached the havoc to see everything better and if any more help was needed. "How could anyone do that to a poor young woman?" Mrs. Yukimura gasped. Ren was at a loss for words--how could anyone do that to someone? However, they were in no position to push theirself through the crowd to offer condolences at this point. The poor woman must be terrified enough as it was without dozens of people leaning over her.

"Why must I be the goddess of something so useless? The truth heals wounds not.." The Reshiram quietly muttered to herself, sulking in her throne as the Goddess of Truth watched the scene play out before her.

Akash looked over at the newcomer. Hot dayum, she's attractive. "Well uh, that's a pretty good idea, miss," he said. "Healing's never been my cup of tea, but I'd say my bro's pretty good at it." He nudged Ein's side with his elbow.

"Ah, of course. I'll do that." Ein crouched down to inspect Elva's knee. It wasn't too bad, easily fixed. While they weren't Xerneas, Ein always had their own way of healing injuries. "Now, this might feel a bit strange, and it also might hurt a bit, but only as much as it hurt when you scraped it." They raised a hand so the palm was a few inches away from the scrape, and focused on turning back time in the small area around her hurt knee. It would create a small paradox, but the natural time flow would eventually correct it and smooth it over. Elva's skin sewed itself back together as time worked in reverse. Even the fabric of her tights was patched as well, since time affected it as well. When the work was done, Ein stood up and gave Elva a smile. "Good as new."

Akash gave Ein a playful nudge. "Hey Ein, didn't you say that she was your w-" His words were interrupted when Ein gave him a much sharper blow to his gut using their elbow. "-offering. I was going to say offering," Akash wheezed, but had a grin on his face while Ein gave another smile, polite but also slightly forced at the same time. "Don't mind him," Ein said.

Andra kicked the guy one more time before stopping "I'm done playing." she said. "I better not catch you messing with her, or anyone else. It pisses me off." she told the man and walked back to her seat she sat down, boredom entering her doorway. Wait who's going to talk? I also just noticed most of the legendaries aren't even here. she thought, she looked over at Morta "I wouldn't worry too much about it. Then again.." she stopped talking before she made anything worse. Andra looked ahead of her, the girls shaken appearance didn't make her feel anything, she was concerned about her well being. That drunken guy probably would've hurt her unless she punched him, then again. Violence is her thing, talking things out? No way. She wondered where everyone was, Hmm.. well who knows.. she pondered, she gazed upon the crowd looking among the faces before her. A few caught her attention then simply looked around some more, she remembered how Morta looked before walking away, she caught a glimpse before she kicked the guy. Shame, guilt. she told herself silently in her head. She was losing her heard, thankfully a mortal calmed her down before any drastic measure were made. Even though she pulled some strings, once or twice. She felt fuzzy, Ein was using his abilitys, she wanted to yell something to him. But kept her mouth shut, she didn't want to become the center of attention after what she pulled today.

Elva was surprised when the Goddess of Death herself offered her apologies, to which she silently accepted with a nod of her head. "A-ah, thank you," She said, flustered and a bit confused. Her eyebrows raised in surprise as Ein's brother mentioned her being his apparent offering. "O-oh, that means.. You're the God of Time, right?" She inquired to Eindride. "That would make you the God of Space, correct?" She asked Akash, a small smile on her face as many of the observing gijinkas dispersed. "O-oh gosh, the ceremony!" She suddenly remembered. "Ah, I've probably muddled it all up, haven't I?" She said, her head tipped slightly downwards. "Ah, sorry for all the trouble. I mean, given that I'm supposed to be a bride for you, I'm sure that there'll be plenty of time for me to make it up to you." Elva said a sheepish smile on her face.

Nikola was startled at how much had occurred in such a small amount of time. From the creepy dude to the goddesses to the quiche she was eating being knocked onto the ground, it was like a miniature emotional rollercoaster. She sighed as she looked down at the ruined pastry, shaking her head. "I just wasn't ready for the responsibility." She said to no one in particular. With a disappointed sigh, she returned to her position nearby the other offerings to the God of Death as she awaited the ceremony's beginning.

Rose sighed in relief once she knew the girl was okay, shaken but alright. Many people flocked to the seen, more gods and goddesses than mortals. Even the Goddess of Death marched down from her throne to beat up the man. He picked the wrong day to be a drunken sleaze bag. she thought to herself, feigning pity for the man as he was beaten up several times before being told to leave immediately. As a crowd gathered, and one of the gods healing the girl's knee while the Goddess of Death herself apologized for scaring the girl even more than she had already been, Rose chose that time to slip away, not being of any use to the girl anymore, and the idea of so many people around was not her cup of tea. She made her way to a lone area near the back of the room where she rested her back against a wall.

The solo life was more comforting to her, as making friends was a bit harder for her. Rose crossed her arms over her chest, an indifferent look on her face. After all of the events that had and we're going to happen, she was just ready to meet her god and face whatever the future awaited.

(A psychologically damaged spinach egg pie.)

Morta chewed on her lip as she returned to her place. She really wanted Xerneas to be here- he always knew what to say, and everyone loved him. "But it's just my luck that he decides that everyone else should get to know me.." she murmured, slightly cursing her twin brother for not being here, for him going off to do something. "He's so irresponsible-" she grumbled, waiting for the rest of the gods to gather around again.
(I might break my 4 character rule... just 2 make xerneassss))

Grimoire laughed as she watched one of the brothers heal the girl's wounds. "Guess you both are gods, huh-" she laughed, kneeling to check the girl's, Elva-, leg. "Good as new, missy!" She laughed again, before she suddenly stiffened at the mention the god's titles. "A-ha, well, looks like I should leave y'all to go, do your thing-" she laughed, though it was a bit more forced. "Yep- should get going. Byeee-" she said, quickly turning to leave.

(there's a quiche under this bench)

"All the time in the world," Ein said to Elva with a wink, and kissed the back of her hand.

"Literally or figuratively?" asked Akash.

"I'll let you figure that out on your own. Well, I suppose we'd better get going, the ceremony is about to start."

"And somebody had better cheer up Morta before she kills something," Akash chimed in cheerily.

"Well, I'll be seeing you soon, Elv." The two of them linked arms and Ein waved farewell to Elva as they began to walk away. They disappeared into the crowd and soon reappeared at their seats.

"Heyyy, Morta. Thanks for helping us, er, sort that out. Ya did good," Akash tried to lighten the death goddess's mood while he sat on his throne with intricate circular patterns. Ein took his seat designed to look like circuitry as they waited for the festival to officially begin.

"Haven't seen you that happy in a while, bro."

"Do shut up," Ein muttered, but his face did flush slightly at the comment.
