A few minutes later, Viral found herself standing outside Jasper's door, knocking on it with her free hand, and scraping her muddy shoes against the floor. "I'm so gonna buy new shoes after this." She would've frowned at the state of her rather new MTT Brand shoes. They were pretty expensive, and she hoped the mud wasn't gonna stain them. "Can mud even do that?"

"Oh hi Viruf." Jasp said, looking up at viral from the couch with his mouth full of ramen. He held up his pointer finger while he swallowed before speaking. "So you ran into a human? What's the story behind that?" He asked, resting his chin on his left wrist and taking another bite of his pasta. "Oh and don't get my carpet all muddy, aight?" He said nonchalantly while scooting over on the couch to make room for his friend.

Viral mentally rolled her eyes, though her screen remained blank. She closed hee umbrella as she finished stomping the mud off, and strolled in. "Well, maybe you should try getting a better doormat." she responded, sitting down beside him and pulling her legs up to rest her head on them. "Yeah, so I was on my way here, when some monster-ghosts? Yeah, they came by and started leading me and this other monster, who didn't really look like he was from around here. Anyway I follow these ghosts, and see like, a human attacking someone who looked like, one of those Temmies?" She took a while to get all the text on her screen, and paused for a bit to rest. It got really tiring having to process so much text all at once.

"I'll get a better doormat when you get a better face." Jasp snickered, meaning that he'd probably never upgrade unless his current doormat burst into flames or something. "What did the human look like? Like, gender, height, clothes?" He inquired after a moment of Viral pausing. He finished off his pasta, pushing the empty bowl farther away from himself, placing his feet on the smooth wooden surface.

Viral made a very rude gesture. "My face can't get any better. It's 'vintage'" She quickly flashed an image that said "Only 90s kids remember." Then she paused to consider his question. "Well, they were small, but not too small. I can't really say anything about their gender, but they kinda looked like a guy, and they were wearing a scarf- and some clothes really unsuitable for Snowdin." She picked at a scar on her knee, and she shivered as she remembered the awful expression the kid had had. "I would've taken a picture, to show you how creepy they looked..." She didn't show anymore text, until she hesitantly wrapped her arms around herself. "They had so much d u s t on their hands..."

Jasp's eyebrows shot up like a bullet, and he took a bit longer than a minute to calm his expression. That didn't sound like the little girl sleeping in his bedroom at all. He practically shivered at the idea of the human Viral had described. He made a motion to comfort his friend, placing his scaly palm on her shoulder in a gesture of reassurance. After a moment, he retracted his hand, fiddling a bit with his fingers as he tried to think of a way to voice his own encounter with Kauri. "Well, um, anyways, I kinda... Met someone unusual earlier today?" He bit his bottom lip, a tentative expression on his face. "Well, uh, what I mean is, I guess I kinda found a human too I think?" He said, his expression a bit cautious.

Viral rubbed her arms, trying to push away any thoughts about the human from earlier, about who that dust might've been. She tensed up as Jasper started to speak, and she actually gasped, before quickly launching into a series of questions. "Oh my god- Was it that human from Snowdin? Are you okay? Did they hurt you- are they still around here-" she looked her friend over, trying to find some type of injury.

"Oh, nonononono! Nothing like that!" Jasp said, waving away his friend's worried hands. "She just- She, She kinda... She actually kind of reminds me of you." He half-mumbled, rubbing the back of his neck with a scaly hand.

Viral pulled back, tilting her head in confusion. "Huh? What do you mean by that?" she asked, and tried to think about some comparison to make between her and some human. "Are they like, super cool and awesome at video games? Are they totally hot and vintage, like me?" she posed dramatically on the couch, trying to get her friend to laugh. Obviously this human couldn't be any worse than that other one, right? She really hoped so.

Jasp couldn't help laughing at Viral's joke, giving Viral a playful nudge with his fist. "Haha, sorry, but no, not anything like that." He said,calming down a bit. "Ah, well, for one thing, she doesn't talk. Not a single word. I'm pretty sure the kid's not mute, since she laughs and stuff, but she hasn't said a single word since I tripp- I mean found her." He shrugged. "I guess it's kind of the reason I didn't just walk away then." He said with a bittersweet smile.

Viral tilted her head the opposite way, and a small smiley face flashed on the screen for a second. She was glad he wasn't all nervous and awkward again- it meant that the human hadn't been a problem. "Wait, what do you mean by 'not just walking away?'" She asked, leaning forward in suspicion. "Jasper. Please don't tell me you did what I'm thinking you did..." She crossed her fingers, hoping that she'd thought the wrong answer for once.

Jasper couldn't help hiding the look on his face in his hands as he slumped onto his back, slouching into the couch. "...She's in my bedroom." He said somewhat guiltily, the upper half of his face covered in his palms.

Viral slapped her palm against the side of her head, causing a quick burst of static. "...I guess I can't blame you too much.." She glanced back towards his bedroom, feeling suddenly restless. "I mean, with all that's been going on because of that other human, she would definitely be in danger of being mistaken for them. Plus, she'd probably catch a cold from all this rain.." She seemed to be trying to convince herself, mostly. "...You're sure that she's harmless? That she won't attack you while your guard's down?"

"Well, I mean, for one thing, she's pretty tiny. And, well, it's easier if I just show you." He said, standing up. He led Viral over to his badroom, opening the door. "Hey kid, this is- Oh." He stopped, spotting the small human snuggled under his blankets. "She's asleep." Kauri looked particularly sweet and peaceful, all bundled under the blankets like that, and Jasp couldn't help giving a gentle grin at the sleeping child.

Viral held onto the doorframe, marveling at such a small creature- more so that it was a human. "Oh...This one is much cuter than the last one.." She took a very quick picture- one of the only cool features she had- and glanced at Jasper. She saw how he smiled at the little child, and she relaxed, returning her gaze to the tiny human. "What's her name?.."

"Well, since she doesn't talk, I got her to write in on this piece of paper." He said more softly, strolling to the side table and showing Viral Kauri's doodle of her and Jasp standing in a field of blue flowers, matching the one resting beside the drawing. With a small smile, Jasper picked up the flower, leading Viral out of the room. "We should probably leave her to get some rest." He said as he filled a mug full of water, placing the glowy bloom in the cup and setting it on the coffee table. "Who knows what Kauri's been through today." He said with a silly grin as he sat down on the couch. "From this point forth, I hereby resign to reign king of the couch!" He said in a silly mock-regal voice, taking up the whole couch by laying vertically across it.

Bee slammed her face and paws against the window of the house, leaving a wet smudge from her nose. "AAAAH! I KNOW I FIND HERE YOU!" Her muffled voice could be faintly heard through the closed window. She was standing on the windowsill, balancing herself using her floppy ears and body weight. "I SEEN IT! I SEEN...CO-FEE!" Her paws tapped against the window as she begged to be let inside. Her future vision had shown that she could (probably) get a drink inside, and also that there was an adorable human there, too. She wanted to see it and pet its head so badly, she had heard a rumor that a human's hair was very soft.

(//////finally does something for once.....i didn't know how to jump in)

"SWEET MERCIFUL GOD OF PASTA!" Jasp screeched as a monster slammed into the window, toppling off of the edge of the couch onto the floor. "Ah! Don't do that!" He hissed at the rabbit monster outside of his window, grumbling some kind of rude comments before walking to open the door. "Y'know you can just use the doorbell, right?" He grumbled displeasedly as he let the monster in. He had encountered this monster several times before, as they lived nearby each other, though he really hadn't gotten to know her all that well. He guess he could consider her as someone he could trust, (or at least probably,) but he didn't really consider her to be a friend yet. More like an annoying neighbor. He gave an audible sigh as he let the rabbit in, realizing that she and Viral hadn't met before. "Uh, sorry about that, Bee can be a little... eccentric at times." He said, doing that awkward neck-rubbing habit of his. "Oh, right! You haven't met before! Well, uh, Viral, this is Bee, my "neighbor." Bee, this is Viral." He said, a sheepish expression on his face as he introduced them.

(I hope it's alright if I make them live by each other?)

Viral jumped in surprise, and quickly thought that the other human had followed her here. She held a hand over her chest, staring at the little monster through the window. "Oh..." She eased up, standing awkwardly as Jasper let the stranger in.
