this is a suggestion

it would be better if there was a pm or chat only where some people of 3 to 5 can chat i have faced this problem i saknar and fireblast were talking about a private thing in herochat but we couldnot pm because we were three we didnot want any to know but mods can see all chat by scrolling so autumnstar saw

so i want a pm or chat only where some people of 3 to 5

accept it or reject post it in forum

Something similar has been suggested here. That aside, I hope you know that things like these would still have to be moderated? So AutumnStar (for example) would still see what you were saying regardless of it being a "private" chat.

I think it's not just a chatroom idea, but also the possibility of having a group PM.

Are the PMs moderated as well? Or are they only checked into if there's a report made with a screenshot? I ask this because if it's a group PM with 2-4 other users in it, would it still get moderated even though normal PMs might not be?

Personally, I like the idea of a group PM conversation more than a chatroom with limited people in it, as that means I have logs I can look back on to refresh my memory with what was said by who so I can keep up with everything myself. And if I walk away for, say, an hour, I don't wind up missing half of what was said while I was away.

From what I know, only Riako can read PMs, and he would probably only do that under extreme conditions :p Mods can't read through people's PMs, they could only read what's provided with a screenshot ((Please..correct me if I'm wrong, I seriously hope I'm not misleading anyone with this XD))

nope, moderators can't read pm's, this is why we ask for screenshots when someone reports a through-pm harassment issue

I do like the idea of a group pm, especially if you could set up a group and save it, for example you could call one group "fanclub" then when you click on "fanclub" it automatically sends it to everyone in that group.

I like the idea of having an option to create PM groups more than having separate chat rooms but I wouldn't mind seeing both implemented. So support~ ^^

Also dialka, please refrain from saying thank you to every supporter in a separate post. It's undoubtedly nice of you to say thank you, then again it's not necessarily needed and only makes it difficult to filter out the important posts of this thread. ;)

Instead of it being called PM Groups or such, why not call it Party?

So, when you enter a userpage, you scroll down and you see a 'Party this user' button thingy, so you can chat with this user instead of having PMs, of course you can Party a lot of people (More than 1) and then chat with them in 1 private place!

I support the idea. I mean I know this may be a specific case but for example people with clubs could benefit from this, specifically in mine where I have two co-leaders and would like to be able to talk to them privately at the same time about the club as apposed to me having to PM them separately and relaying messages back and forth it could be a group thing and keep things from getting confusing.
