I won't hide this - I admit, I "cheated". The " are there because I don't consider it cheating, but I won't say I'm completely innocent. I DID indeed ask for hints on the codes and the final word, because some of these clues really were smart at hiding the answers. Never would have thought about the Growlithe in the Forest one. I DID ask for a hint on the final code (I would never ask for the answer, there's no fun in that) but got no response, a quick Google was a huge help (does that count as cheating?). I certainly did NOT spoil anything either. I may have Palpad'd a hint or two, but I'm just giving back some help instead of take take take.
So I'll say, thank you for taking me out of the winners raffle and allowing those who really deserve it have a chance.

EDIT: After reading PROPERLY through the text Riako posted, I understand that he no longer wants to do anymore big events if it means filtering out cheaters.
As one of the cheaters who was asking for hints on the final word, I owe everyone an apology.
Riako, if you see this post, I hope you have a change of heart, that at least 1 cheater understands the devastation that it has caused. Please, do continue more events like this in the future - It was fun, and you'll certainly have 1 less cheater to filter out.

It sure is painfull to see all your work ending up ruined.
I'm so sorry that that happend.
I still want to thank you for putting so much effort into the event.
I enjoyed it a lot, I would love to participate in an amazing event like this again. Though I understand if you don't want to do something like this again after this.
(Sorry if my English is broken. My native language is Dutch so ^^' I mess up sometimes)

You should make more contests like this :> I do think a rule where people are most certainly not allowed to even mention the code word would be nice though
People kept posting feeds like "nighty nightmares ohhh" and stuff like that ;; maybe if you do another event like this, you could make it where they get disqualified if they post the code word or something like that

Kinda sad that so many people cheated... though it doesn't surprise me. I used to do moderator work for another "pet raising" type site, and cheating during official events was commonplace there too. Lots of people assume that because it's online, they can get away with it and not get caught... and the desire to have the often valuable and highly sought after prize overwhelms any sense of fair play.

sucks that there were cheaters though this would've been a cool annual/special event, i didn't see many people saying the code more of offering stuff for it which sucked cos people were buying into it even if the prices weren't worth a chance of shiny darkrai
and i figured out the code after someone said "Caesars code" and "google is your friend" found the answer on a Wikipedia wasn't hard when i accidentally got some of the answers like the daycare and fountain

If this was a rule, it should have been written like a rule, not like an advice. Just saying.
