(I shall start the day. First day of school, new year, we should
all be heading into our dorms to get our stuff put away.)
Theia walks down the hallway without bumping into any of the
oncoming traffic and getting out of the way of people passing her.
That's the way it always was. She was simply in the way. Her bare
feet made no noise as she stepped along the marble floors. The cold
rock made it easy to "see" where she was going, as vibrations
travel well through it. Her door was only a few more doors down.
Once there she opened the door and stepped into the enclosed room.
The light was off, but she didn't notice, how could she? She walked
in and shut the door by the metal handle with the slight wave of
her hand. She had a bed, a small dresser, a closet, a table and a
chair. And that was all she needed. She sighed in relief to be away
from the hustle of the hallway as she set her bag down by the
dresser and sat on the bed tapping her feet rapidly. I could
really get to like it here... Only problem is... I'll be out of
here in four years... She sighs and lays back on the soft
mattress. I'd better enjoy this while I can...
Amos was heading to his dormitory, he was eager for this year,
because now he isn't a Freshmen anymore. He had his doubts such as
making new friends, but he really didn't know what to expect for
this year. He could call his hell hound, Sephtis, which he became
friends with last year, he didn't think of him as a familiar, or a
tool, he thought of the creature as his comrade, his equal. While
he was walking in the hall, he passed by Theia and managed to take
one glance at her before walking away, and keeping his eyes ahead
of him. Is she new? No, I don't think so.. I.. he thought,
then shook the thought aside and continued to go to the dorm the
higher ups specified, his room number was 135. Once he found his
room, he turned the handle and walked inside. The room had
everything a dormitory should have, he dropped his bags on the
table and sat down on the bed.
Sekhmet observed the trees while she was passing through the
garden. She liked it and she hoped to spend more days in there too.
She shaked her head and headed to the dorms.
The confusion made her head spinning but fortunately she arrived at
the dorms withouth a single fall. She pushed down the handle and
entered in the room; she liked it at first impact.
"Well, I can't complain for sure."
She put down her linen bag on the floor and began to arrange her
things, finding the right spot for everything. Once finished, she
layed on her bed exhausted. A little itch was growing behind her
lion ear, she scratched it and passed it on the bed blanket.
Pearl yawned as she got up and started looking around the strange
place she had woken up in. A garden..? In a school? She shook her
head in disbelief and started examining the pretty flowers that
grew here, floating by them and sniffing them one by one.
Amos finished unpacking, and put his sword on the hilt that was
next to his waist and walked out of his dorm, he closed the door
behind him and locked it. Maybe I should call Sephtis and see
how he's doing.. he thought and pulled a dog whistle out of his
pocket, then blew it. A few seconds afterward Sephtis pounced ontop
of Amos and gave him a few licks in the face. Then, Sephtis got off
of Amos and sat down, Amos put his whistle back in his pocket and
wiped some hell hound slobber off of himself.
Lunaria held her black hood whilst fast-walking down the hallway
into her dome. Hopefully, no one would spot her or bother to try
and see her face. Once reaching her dormitory she unlocked it
instantly. She closed her door behind herself as she breathe
normally again. Uncovering her black hood to reveal her face again
she looked around at the new surroundings she was in. "Better start
feeling at home..." she sighed to herself as she opened up with bag
she carried and started to unpack. "Lets see what mother packed.."
Lunaria rummaged through her bag looking at the belongs she
possessed again. " A crystal? Bow and arrows? I hope these aren't
all my mothers..." She sighed again and went to look out the window
instead.
Theia gets up off of her bed and walks through her empty dark room
and exits her dorm, shutting the door behind her. She tilts her
head as she "sees" an odd sight just down the hall a ways. A hell
hound licking someone. Now that's something you don't see
everyday... She walked down towards the hound and the person,
so that she can get a better "look" at the dog, for she had never
been in the presence of a hell hound before. How
interesting... She thinks to herself as her grey eyes blink
slowly.
Sephtis growled at Theia and slinked back to Amos defensively,
"Chill out Sephtis, she's a new student.. maybe you can play with
her familiar, if she decides to get one. Make some friends." Amos
told the hell hound. "Sorry, my hell hound's only friendly to me."
Amos said to Theia. "I'm Amos, what's your name?" he asked her.
Lunaria went back to sit down and look through her bag laying
everything out in front of her. " crown and necklace....a katana
o-o.... Accessories.... fabric? I hope there is an explanation for
these things....." her face was 'confused' yet 'disgusted' most of
these things were her mothers possessions or things she may not
need. She pulled out a brush, mirror and hair tie. "Something I
need. YAY!" she squealed. She placed everything away safely.
Theia stopped in her tracks as the beast growled at her.
Interesting... She actually jumped only when the boy tried
to speak to her. Is... Is he speaking to me? Must be, he's
facing me... "Theia..." She whispered, just barely audible over
the din around them. she turned her head slightly to the dog.
Sephtis, a fitting name for such a creature as you. She
thought to the dog, she always got along better with animals, even
if they weren't exactly the most friendly.
Lunaria stopped to look at the door. Maybe I should make a
few friends? She looked very doubtful before pulling her
hood over her ears and face again. As she walked up to the door, a
few shudders came and went before she finally opened it slowly and
quietly. She gulped as she turned around and closed it as quietly
as she could again before looking around slightly.
"You my friend are a ray of sunshine.." Amos told the hell hound,
as it kept it's position, then hit loosened up a bit and looked at
Theia What's with her? the hell hound turned and looked at
Amos. "Dunno.." Amos said to the hell hound "Nice to meet you." he
said to Theia, "Sephtis, you can go now. I'll call you back when
it's time." Amos said, then Sephtis disappeared.
Breathing rapidly, she suddenly leant against her door again.
But.. but what if?... Thoughts ran through her mind
as her heart pounded. "I can't do it" she whispered under her
breathe a few times. She looked down at the floor ashamed of
herself for being shy and selfish. Reaching out for the door behind
herself to unlock it again.
Theia nods her head to the boy's statement before walking past him
down the hall towards the garden. Does he really think that its
nice to meet me? Or is he just saying that to be polite? Either
way, I really don't feel like talking today... She has her own
conversation in her mind as she progresses down the hall making
sure to step to the side or turn herself so as not to hit anyone.
Though, they should be the ones looking out. People are always
so rushed these days...
Victoria walked in dormitory and, from there, tried to navigate her
way to her dorm. On her way she passed a lot of 'people'; like girl
and boy that were talking. She saw something disappearing next to
them but it was probably her imagination. When she found her dorm,
she carefully examined door number hoping she was on right place.
When in room she realised that is really her room. 'I mean there
isn't anyone else so it's probably my room.' She put her
suitcase down.
Selinia glided down the hallway, having just finished unpacking.
She felt vaguely uncomfortable being back, though she couldn't
explain it. Something about being around all these godlings got
under her skin. Probably nothing. Her heritage did put her odds
with many of these peoples parents after all. Most people new to
stay out of her way, and those who didn't quickly learned. They
quickly moved aside as she slithered past. A girl with her head
covered in a hood had just come out of her dorm, and seemed to be
about to reenter, when Selinia knocked into her. Stopping, she
loomed over the girl, adding height with her coils. Her forked
tongue flicked as she growled, "Watch what you doing small fry."
Amos wanted to say bye, but Theia was already gone Bye? he
thought, That was an odd conversation.. then he continued
down the hall, the opposite direction from Theia. He knew his way
around the school, then he turned and headed towards the garden, so
he could have some alone time. Once he made it to the garden he
laid down in the grass, waiting for first period to start.
Lunaria looked up at the figure she encountered. "Excuse me? I
didn't do anything!" She exclaimed with a tone of anger. She still
held her hood to cover her face and left the door for a moment.
Oh great!
Sephtis appeared next to Amos, he turned and looked at his hell
hound "I didn- fine, you can stay." he told his pet. Sephtis gave
Amos another lick and looked around the garden and looked at a
tree, Amos panicked a bit when he looked at Sephtis, he didn't want
the hell hound to uproot the tree and make it a chew toy. Hell
hounds we're huge after all, and intimidating unless you could
control it, which Amos could do "No Sephtis." he scolded him.
Sephtis let out a dog-like sigh and stayed by his master.
Lunaria's eyes flashed back to the door as she entered her dome
again shutting the door behind herself. "This is why I don't get
along with people." she took her cloak off and put it on her bed.
"Maybe I can make some sort of clothing with this fabric?" she
suggested to herself and took the fabric into her hands.
