Pride clenched his fists and bared his teeth, which were now triangular fangs. "Envy, if you keep insulting me, you might suffer an unfortunate accident someday." He said in a slightly demonic sounding voice.

Jude huffed and closed his locker quietly, avoiding eye contact with the other teenagers around him. His blue eyes shifted down the hallway, immediately stopping on Natsumi. A smile graced his features as he made his way towards her. "Hey." He greeted with a happy chuckle.

Vespa heard Kyo shouting at her from the bridge, and couldn't help biting the inside of her cheek. She swiped away angry tears with her sleeve, glaring at the tree leaves as if she could somehow magically will them to explode or something. She dug her nails into her arm, wincing when she accidently squeezed one of her bruises too hard. With a painful wince, she slid her left arm out of her jacket sleeve, checking the several bruises along her left arm for bleeding. When satisfied that the wounds weren't open, she slouched back against the tree, bumping her head against the willow's bark. She didn't bother to pull her sleeve up, remaining motionless as she stared at the canopy. How was it that she could barely control her temper against someone she had just met, but couldn't even stand up to her father? With a small release of breath, she slumped gainst the tree, right hand gripping her arm as she fought the hot tears that pushed past her eyelids, dripping down her face.

Mariko paused and looked down at her feet. "I just... D-Didn't expect you could be so powerful. I thought you were just a human, but..." She let out a small sigh. "I... I guess I am scared of you. Sorry," she nodded and refused to make eye contact with Takuro.

Ryo grew silent as the lack of sound coming from Vespa's curled up body became apparent. What a wimp, he thought to himself. She can't even stand up. He turned to leave when a thought crossed his mind that stopped him in his tracks. If someone finds her here and she tells them I was here, I'd get in trouble. The tricky little brat... He turned around and walked towards her, reaching out his right hand. "Hey, are you ok or something?" Sure, this was uncharacteristic of him, but what other choice could he take? Getting ratted out and expelled? Nope, not happening.

Vespa looked up at him, shocked for a moment. In a swipe of her hand, she rubbed away her tears, nodding. "Yeah, I'm fine, I'm just... Sorry. Dad's just been a bit meaner this week, I guess I kinda just took it out on you." She said, covering her left arm and slipping it through her sleeve. "I'll make you some cookies or something tomorrow to make it up to you if you want." She said, a sheepish look on her face as she pulled herself to her feet. "But seriously though, let's keep this to ourselves. If any of my teachers find out, I could be expelled. Dad would be seriously ticked." She said with a shiver. "Besides, lunch is gonna be starting soon, right?"

Ryo shook his head. "It doesn't matter," he replied, dismissing Vespa's attempt to apologize. He could care less about whether she was sorry or not at this point. "But yeah, lunch is soon. You should probably go, huh?"

"Yeah, I'm freakin' starving." She agreed, beginning to walk back in the direction of the school. She trudged up to the edge of the small grotto, pausing for a moment to look back to Kyo, who was still nearby the tree. "Hey, are you coming? Today's pizza day, you'd prolly not wanna miss that. Anyways, see you later." She said with a small smile, turning to dash off into the woods back towards the school.

Vespa stopped at her locker to retrieve her lunch, shoving her bag into her knapsack and withdrawing a book to read as she walked to the lunch room. She was walking down the hall when she accidently bumped into the side of a tall boy with reddish hair and blue eyes. "Oh! Sorry!" She chirped, half hopeful that either him or his lady friend would actually acknowledge her, though it was unlikely, if she was judging by her experiences with other students.

"Silly goose, you should be paying attention to me more." Envy replied, waving it off. She noticed another student bump into Jude "Are you hurt by Jude's iron body? Should I guide you to the nurse?" Natsumi playfully joked, wanting to reassure her while lightening the mood at the same time.

Vespa gave a playful laugh, nervously rubbing the back of her neck. "Ah, sorry for running into your boyfriend there, I was just heading to lunch. I'm Vespa, nice to meet you!" She said, holding her hand out in a handshake.

Pride walked down the hallway, wondering what he should do next. I guess I'll stop by the library like I wanted to earlier. Two sins I already hate, Wrath and Envy. Let's hope Lust, Sloth, and Gluttony aren't that bad. Greed was alright, though. At least he didn't insult me. And those other sins better watch out who they insult. After all, Pride is the worst of the sins.

(I'm not completely sure what I'm going to do right now.)
