Hawthorne Academy for Troubled Students is a diciplinary school where problem students who are deemed 'unsalvageable' are sent, for one last attempt at academic redemption.

The school itself is very old, having briefly been a hospital, and then an asylum before being converted into the school it is today. There are countless rumors because of this, and also because of the placement of the school itself- about an hour out of town, surrounded by forest and nearby us a lake where many accidents have occurred.

These rumors are mostly about the supernatural- malevolent spirits haunting the campus, whispers of werewolves and witches in the woods, sirens living in the lake- practically any mythical creature could be found around here, according to rumor. That's silly, of course. Monsters definitely do not exist.

Be more descriptive with her reason for being there, because if she's not human, she needs a reason for being at a human school, at the very least.

Personality: She is very manipulative, using her silky tongue and other natural talents to get what she wants. Usually she is quick to defuse fight and arguments, mostly because they tend to interfere with her schemes. She enjoys the background rather than the spotlight, lurking in the shadows, setting up cruel pranks and sowing seeds of hatred. Often the most vicious feuds have been guided by her hand. Because of her tricks she has few friends, though some still stick around her. Just don't piss her of, or the school might end up with a new statue.

Appearance: Her striking blue eyes offset her dark red hair, which falls down to her mid back when its in a braid. Her right ear has a small wedge taken out of it. Her complexion changes all the time because her skin retains a feature from the last animal she shifted into. For example if she shifted into a tiger she'd have dark stripes on her skin, if she had shifted into a reptile, she'd have patches of scales. (When she does shift I'll include a basic description or image of the creature she turned into.)
Personality: Rather quiet, has a bit of a temper when she is confronted or angered. If someone can get past that first shy layer she is actually really kind and fiercely loyal.
Reason for Disciplinary School: She was sent because one day, she got tired of being picked on, shoved, and getting her hair pulled. The bully of the school walked up behind her, and yanked. She turned around, shifted into a bear and, well, lets just say he didn't even make it to the ER. As she ran from the school, a police officer had shown up and shot at her, not realizing she was a student. The bullet grazed her ear nicking it. She wasn't able to get home before she was brought down with a tazer and sent off to the school. She didn't even get to say goodbye to her family. She figures it was probably good that she didn't as they would have been terrified of her.
