Peridot stared up at the school, smiling widely as she walked
towards the doors. This would be her second year here, and
hopefully it'll be even better than last year, she might even make
some friends, too. She glanced around at the other students, taking
note of all the different species, which made her feel even more
giddy. I should probably head towards the auditorium, for that
speech the school's supposed to give- she thought, humming
quietly.
Jaylen began to slowly make his way towards the auditorium where
multiple of the other students began to migrate towards. As he was
walking, he was suddenly stopped by a very short red headed
girl who decided to be in her human form.
"Yeah?" He asked her with a bored expression, his dual colored eyes
were still droopy with sleep thanks to the early morning.
"I-I just need some directions to the auditorium, if that's not too
much trouble." She spoke softly and her words began to trail off
towards the end. The taller centaur offered a sleepy smile before
speaking in a kinder tone.
"Follow me, newb. It isn't far and I'm heading there too." He
stated, receiving a very wide smile from the smaller girl who began
to thank him profusely. The two walked side by side in silence as
they neared the large building.
Cyrus made his way to the auditorium and observed the other
students as he walked. He saw a centaur and someone who appeared to
be human ahead of him. 'What a unique crowd of people we have
here...' he thought as he passed the two.
Ali, already tired of walking, orbed into the auditorium. He heard
the faint humming again as he noticed the same boy walking passed
him. "What the hell is going on?" he asked himself in a low voice.
Vespa padded up to the front of the towering school, tagging her
hat a bit lower on her head. She took a deep breath, absorbing the
scent of fresh-cut grass and new people. She had to admit, she was
a bit skittish. It had been so long since she had been around this
many people, and it made her a bit uneasy. She bit her lip, her
pointed teeth drawing a pinprick of blood as she forced herself
forwards. Her long braid swished behind her as she took long
strides towards the school entrance, avoiding physical contact with
any of the other students. She had no idea where to go, so she
opted to just follow some students that seemed to know where they
were headed.
Peridot panted quietly when she finally reached the auditorium, she
still wasn't used to walking so far- she probably needed the
exercise though. She looked around, sighing in relief when she
found some empty seats, where she wouldn't need to sit next to
strangers. She quickly sat down, waiting for more students to
arrive.
Alex stepped into the school, looking around. The year before was a
nightmare, for him at least. Maybe this year he could make some
friends for once? Or at least try to talk to someone..? He headed
to the auditorium, pushing past students and keeping his face
hidden. He entered and took a random empty seat where not so many
people seemed to be at the moment.
Victoria looked around confusedly. She stood at the edge of a
hallway, trying to get someone's attention to ask for directions,
but no one answered her. She groaned and stopped one student. The
student told her to head for the auditorium, so she did. By the
time she got there, there were so many people around her she could
barely find a seat at all. Great... She slumped down in a
seat surrounded by strangers and waited.
Angelica looked up at her sister. "Do you think this year is gonna
be different?" She asked with a raised eyebrow. She only got a
shrug in return. "Yeah I had a feeling you would respond like
that." She rolled her eyes.
Teelia snickered. "What do you expect? I can't predict the future."
She nudged her sister foward. "Come in, we need to get to the
auditorium." She said as she adjusted her scarf.
Yuki squinted as her eyes scanned the crowd. "I wonder if they
actually came today..." She said to herself as she looked for the
two sisters. "They rarely come on time." She groaned. She gasped
when she saw Teelia. "How could I miss that huge beast!" She
smirked at the nickname she gave her friend.
//tbh I have no idea what I'm doing and I just realized the drawing
for Teelia sucks to I have to crop it nice

Aria slipped past multiple larger students and made her way to an
empty seat surrounded by rowdy monsters of all kind. She pulled her
bag off of her back as she sank into her seat, holding it close to
her chest as she waited for the ceremony to begin.
Jaylen stamped his hoof rudely a guy who pushed his way past the
young centaur, not even muttering an apology. How rude. He
thought and rolled his eyes. He got bored of waiting and shifted
his gaze over the large amount of different creatures of legend,
his eye landed on a particularly intriguing figure of a female
centaur with her friends not very far away from his position. He
smirked to himself and continued to curiously watch her interact
with the girls around her.
Peridot yawned, though she tried not to rub her eyes and ruin her
make-up. "Honestly, I should really get some of that good stuff.."
she murmured, aware of monsters sitting in besides her. She
immediately glanced up as the school's principal as they stared
talking.
Teelia's small tail flicked slightly. She looked around her
surrounding and gave a small smile when she saw Yuki. "Hey,
tweets!" She waved and called out to her harpy friend. "Get over
here." She giggled.
Yuki grinned and pushed her way through the crowd. "Beasty~" She
stuck her tounge out. "Did you miss me, baby!" She laughed.
Peridot glanced around the auditorium, only half listening to the
principal speak- it was about school policies, which she already
knew. She shook her head, before returning her attention up front.
"-Also, students will not be allowed to trade dorm rooms, unless
you've signed a form beforehand-" she sighed quietly.
Jaylen chuckled at the female centaur and her enthusiasm of finding
her harpy friend. He looked the girl over one final time before
turning his attention to the principal who continued his boring
beginning of the year lecture. Every few moments or so he would
sneak a glance at the female then turn back to the principal.
Aria listened half-heartedly to the principal as he lectured on and
on about rules and policies. She sighed softly and began to sketch
a random guy on the first page of her notebook. She occasionally
looked up to the principal before going back to drawing or to look
at the students around her. She noticed a boy with red hair appear
in the building, his attention solely on his phone. A new muse.
How nice. She thought before flipping to a new page and start
scribbling out his features in her notebook.
Luke: //he locked his phone and tried to fixate his attention to
the principal and really could'n't. He had gone through this three
times before and was equally as bored as he was the time before. He
yawned and kicked a foot up on his knee
Peridot sighed in relief as the principal finally finished their
spiel. "-lasty, all of us here at Kaiju Academia hope you have a
wonderful school-year!" She stood up quickly, hoping to leave first
and avoid the inevitable 'You're not new here, so show the new kids
around' groups that she might be assigned.
