an small suggestion.

On Town-Tab, could have a thing named "Shelter".

The shelter is just an place that show the Sprite of Pokemon that you have Released.

If you have released a lot of Pokemons, you could see "Section 1, Section 2"...

If you wan't to get the Released Pokemon back, just click on the Sprite and it will appear on your Party or BOX.

I would put full support, but it does say if you release a pokemon, your sending it into the wild :T

No support. If you release your pokemon, you release it and you shouldn't be able to get it back.
Besides you can basically nullify the need for buying more boxes since you can reclaim any pokemon you release.

I sort of support this but I sort of don't

And wouldn't it be better if a time limit was added?

Can I ask why this would be useful? We have pop-ups just in case we click release on the wrong Pokemon. Other than wanting it to adopt a Pokemon you've accidentally released, this really has no purpose.

I know this seems kinda sad, but once you release a pokemon, it's gone. You need to think about what you're releasing and if you're sure you aren't going to miss it, then its ok to release. Never get rid of anything you want to get back later, that defeats the purpose.

Tails- mage was stating a simple fact.

Making no time limit (ie, all pokemon from the shelter are released after 24 hours like daycare eggs) makes it WAY too abusable

I.E. you need box space. You release a few pokemon and fill the box. You can nullify the need for more than one 500 count box. Just fill your box with the pokemon you need for filling ___ dex. Release the others. Reclaim later.

See, abusable!

Also, what shenzi and karp said.

I've NEVER accidentally released a pokemon because I read the popup.

If you can read this, you know how to read.

Any and all released pokémon are immediately removed from the Database, because they're not wanted (anymore)
If there'd be a database for any 'released' pokémon, one that would only grow, because pokémon are never completely removed, just moved around between 'released' and 'recovered', there will probably be a time when the lag that has been decreasing, will come back with a vengeance, especially because it can be exploited ad infinitum.

There are counter measures in place to make sure you don't accidentally release a pokémon you don't want to release (the pop-up mentioned), but if you don't trust this, you can always designate one of your own 'boxes' as 'shelter', for pokémon you're absolutely sure you don't want anymore.

No support sorry. If you release a pokemon in games it's gone forever and it cannot be retrieved -why should it be on this site?
