Luke looked at Yuki sheepishly, his ears laid back somewhat. Despite his embarrassment though, his tail wagged some as Yuki scratched under his chin. He slowly pulled himself into a standing position, and changed back into his full human form. He picked his glasses up off the ground and put them back on his face. "Yeah, I'm okay. My nose is a little sore but my glasses took the brunt of it." He tapped his glasses lightly. "I'm just glad they didn't break."

Yuki's tails wagged slightly. "I'm glad you are okay~" She bent down and picked up the book that hit him. "I think this is yours."

Hali was looking up at the school. So...this is my new school... She nervously walked to the school doors and opened them. "Hi..." She said to other people passing by. She was uncomfortable in the school for some reason, and felt like she would have to have a lot of time taken out of her schedule to explore and get used to the new school.

"Did you miss me?"

That moment when you remember that Luke wasn't wearing his glasses when he got hit because he didn't need them. Well derp.))

Luke studied the cover of the book as he gratefully took it from Yuki. "Thanks. This book is apparently about Lumina's magic. I have no idea what it can do..." He said, staring intently at the strange symbols on the cover. He could tell that the book would be some heavy reading, the kind that he liked to save for the middle of the night and early morning. "I guess I'll try reading it later in my dorm. So didn't you come here looking for a book?"

Helena glanced from her small hiding place behind an open door at Karma. She planned on pulling some sort of small prank on him this time, instead of the usual opposite. She would never allow that sort of event happen without a curse coming normally, but Karma was obviously different. As she waited behind the door, she went over the plan in her head. It was simple; extend her wing out to hit Karma as he passed by. The harmless curse she had planned would do the rest. It's not like he would see it coming since she had her wings hidden from plain view.

Karma looked over at Helena. "I see you there, Helena." he said as he stood up. His clothes had gotten noticeably dirty from the ground, which he was sure to be scolded about sometime later. His clothes were also noticeably sloppy, most likely from sleeping in too late, or just the fact that it was easier to run in sloppy clothes. Karma walked over towards Helena with his hands in his pockets.

"GOSHDANGIT!" Helena ranted, stepping out into the open. "Sheesh, I wish I could curse sometimes," she muttered, shaking her head and walking closer to Karma. She looked him over, almost suspicious of what he could do. She kept her wings hidden from view and tucked closer to her body. She'd much rather not have anyone walk into them since it could have any kind of effect on the person if she didn't give a specific curse or blessing at the time. She was pretty sure someone had died once due to an accidental run-in with her wings when she was angry. "So what did you do this time? And you can't say nothing because you're covered in dirt and we both know you did something."

Hehe, yea. Dark character ain't she?))

Hali decided to head down to the cafeteria- if they had one- and eat, because she was starving. She walked in, and during doing so, saw Helena. "Hello?" She said.

"Did you miss me?"

"Better question is, what were you plotting? That goshdangit didn't come outta nowhere." Karma said, his usual smirk plastered onto his face. "As for me, I didn't do too much. Just some people don't take pranks very well." he added. Karma could most likely guess what Helena had planned. He kept his distance from her just in case she had her wings hidden somewhere. Dang, those wings. They were such a big help at times, but sometimes even Karma was cautious of them.

"Sounds interesting." She chuckled. "I just wanted to see how the Library was." She pointed at her friend, who was currently sitting in a chair with her head down on a table. "She said that this place might have one." She gestured towards the bookshelves. "And they obviously had one."

And I almost forgot to use Helena's fun way of speakin. ;)))

"Does it matter what I was plottin'? It's not like I'd have gotten away with it anyway," Helena said, shrugging. She could tell that he was on edge for the wings, and there was no point in stretching them out if he'd just move away. He'd notice her adjusting her body from moving them anyway. Just as she thought this, she noticed Hali coming into the room. "Um, hey..." She said with a slight chill in her voice. She was always suspicious of new people.

Luke laughed a little as he looked around the library. "It's amazing how many books there are. I thought that I might as well make myself comfortable and read for a while since there are no classes today. What genre do you usually read?" He asked. You never know what kind of things you have in common with a person until you ask, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity for Luke.

Also, I'll be leaving around now. It's 11:30 and my mom will probably walk in any time now and tell me to go to bed. I'll be back for sure on Monday and maybe I'll make a post or two tomorrow. I'm technically not supposed to be on on Sundays so we'll see.))

Karma looked over at Hali. Now he had to be on guard with this stranger and Helena's wings. Karma knew how Helena felt about new people and he could be surprisingly overprotective of her. He walked a littke closer to Helena just in case.

The PA crackled to life. 'The curfew is at 10:00 at night. It is now 9:00. I will now read off the room assignments. Lumina and Helena. Spencer and Luke. Yuki and Angelica. Oliver and Josh. Akira and Yosaf. Victor and Karma. Hali and Kioki. Have a good night.' Lumina gasped. "Oh! It looks like it's about to be curfew! We should probably all go to our rooms..." She snapped, and in a flash, she was gone.

"Oh yeah? Well... You, uhh..." Josh stammered as he tried to think of a clever response to Victor but failed miserably. Besides, the guy kind of did apologize so all was good, right? Victor didn't seem like a bad guy so Josh accepted the handshake as a small smile formed on his face, "Okay, I'm Josh."

The lad didn't really have time to come up with anything else to say when the intercom decided to take a turn at startling him but thankfully the boy didn't go as close to falling off the bookshelf the second time around. After the short curfew announcement was over, Josh glanced at Victor. "You know anyone named Oliver?" he asked the other boy curiously. Hopefully the Oliver guy wasn't a jerk.
