Khaalida's eyes shot wide and her mouth sprung open, as though she was screaming yet no sound could be heard from her gaping jaws. The adrenaline rush from earlier had drained her reserves, so the pain shot through her body and filled her mind. Axel had severed her ligaments and tendons, and broken her kneecap, along with the bottom of her femur. Her other knee could be salvaged, after the blow from Hinami, but not after a long time spent off of it. No thoughts passed through her mind, as there was no room for it. She lay on the ground flat on her back face to the sky, her face a twisted mask of agony.
(Hmm, you said they were near a camp? Perhaps Axel tries to take them there to get assistance from other vampires?)

Seeing that Axel wasn't going to try to push him away, Riku kneeled beside Khaalida unable to gaze at her agony filled face. Damn it... He thought focusing his attention onto her broken knee. Hopefully...I think I'll be able to somewhat heal it...if Axel lets me. Riku placed his hand softly onto Khaalida's leg. He closed his eyes and murmured a few words, his eyes shut tightly with concentration. He had no idea how Axel was reacting to this but as of right now, that was the least of his worries.
Axel narrowed his eyes at what Riku was attempting to do. "Really? Last time I was with you, you couldn't even heal a sprained ankle." He trailed off as Riku's hand became dimly illuminated.
(Yeah, near a camp. The base is a bit further I guess. I'm probably gonna make another vampy :3 You should too! ;) If you want )

Khaalida closed her eyes and mouth as the pain in her knee began to subside. Her tears caught up with her and spilled out the sides of her closed eyelids and landed on the dusty, dry ground. Riku... You'll need the energy... Axel won't be happy with you... He knows now that we're both enemies... You need your strength... "Riku..." She says weakly. "You... Need your strength..." She grunts as she forces herself to sit up, her hand grasping his.

History: He was usually the quiet one at the orphanage, he never really talked about his past, but if asked he would say something along these lines. "Just the same old sob story everyone else has..." In reality, the vampires took him in, and he was taken to see his parents. In one of the many feeding camps strewn about the city. He had been starved of blood for weeks, when he was thrown to his parents, in a blood frenzy, he... Well... You get the gyst of it. He's felt guilty ever since, but got used to feeding on whatever he was given or what he found.
Crush: He always did like and wish he could say something to Khaalida.

Other: He and Khaalida were close friends before the vampires came.

Riku managed to shake his head in response to Khaalida. His arm was beginning to feel heavy, his energy being sucked out of him. I have to heal you halfway, at least... Riku slightly tensed at Khaalida's hand, his concentration wavering. Before he could stabilize it, he was grabbed from behind. "What to you think you're doing?" Axel hissed into Riku's ear. Riku grunted, trying to push the other vampire away but he felt too tired. "Don't tell me you're on her side," Riku heard Axel say almost...desperately? He could not tell. After taking a few breaths, Riku answered with a simple and weary 'yes'. Why hide it? It's too late either way... Once Riku responded, Axel released him causing him to fall onto the ground.
(looks like Riku has competition :P )

Khaalida grits her teeth, glaring at Axel as she attempts to stand. Falling back to the ground as both her knees buckle under her own weight. "Damn you... Damn you and your ilk!" She hisses as she rolls to her side holding her knees. When I get my knees back... I don't care how bad you taste... I'm draining you dry... She grins at the thought.
Bradwr pokes the fire with a piece of rebar from a nearby building, as the other vampires socialize around the fire he remains silent, and alone. He looks over at the "livestock" penned up nearby. Hmph... Wonder if anymore are going to try and escape... He chuckles wickedly at the thought of a hunt.
(Sorry for the shortness of all three... A bit low on words... And I wasn't planning on bringing in his sister for a while.)

If Axel heard Khaalida's insult, he didn't show it. He was too busy staring at Riku with complete confusion. Riku couldn't continue to stare at the other vampire so he glared at the ground instead. "You...you chose another vampire over your family?" Axel muttered, Riku barely catching it. The comment made Riku feel even worse than any kick to the stomach he could receive.
Erin hummed quietly to herself, sitting on a pile of rubble. Earlier, she had tried to communicate with livestock but they simply sent her glares and terrified stares. Instead, Erin watched them from afar until boredom struck her. "When is Axel and Riku gonna come?" She wondered and wandered back to the group. "What's so funny, Bradwr?" Erin asked as she plopped beside the other vampire.

Khaalida snorted. She didn't like to be ignored. Once again she tried to get up, and again, she fell back down. He looks like someone spat in his cereal... She almost smirked but her gaze set on Riku. Axel raised him... That must hurt so much... Why did I have to be walking down that road? Why... Why does life have to be so cruel?!?
Bradwr's grin vanished as he looked over to the female who sat next to him. "None of your business." He glares at the fire. "Just waiting for Axel and Riku... They were supposed to be back earlier." He looked over to her. "Why do you spend so much time watching them?" He motions with the slightly glowing metal rod. Perhaps she's hungry?

Riku forced himself to look up at the white-haired vampire. "Axel...I'm sorry...but I did it for a reason. Let me explain," He started but stopped once he saw that Axel's features turned into fury. "What's more better than the King?" Axel snarled. "Hmm? What's better than Erin or me?" Riku gritted his teeth, preparing to answer back but before he could, Axel kicked him on the head. Stars exploded Riku's vison and everything went black.
Erin simply smiled. "None of your business," She replied, imitating Bradwr's voice.

Khaalida leapt at Axel, she clenched her jaw as she felt the tension and the tearing sensation from both her knees. "LEAVE HIM ALONE!!" Nothing was going through her mind at the moment. It had basically shut down, she was enraged. Her fingernails were aimed at his face her eyes almost glowing with anger. She couldn't feel the pain in her knees anymore, that was the only positive about this situation. Once snapped from this, almost trance like state, the pain would seep into her mind and she would feel very drained. The last time this happened was when she was attacked by a pack of dogs. None of the dogs survived the encounter. But she spent three days in a building recovering.
Bradwr smirks as he snorts. "Cute skill." he stares back into the fire and shoves a log further into the flames, sending up a little smoke and some sparks.

Axel wasn't able to react quickly enough, his attention on Riku. "Arg!" He cried as Khaalida's nails dug into his cheeks. Rage filled him and he threw her on the ground again, blood trailing down his face. "This doesn't include you." He growled walking over to Riku's body. He picks up the unconscious vampire and throws him behind his shoulder.
Erin grunts, staring at the sparks with fascination. "I guess you can say that." She says and turns back to Bradwr. "I just find humans interesting. I always have, actually." She says and picks up a rock.

Khaalida growls as she rolls over and begins to pick herself up. "Put him down!" A tear runs down her cheek as the pain begins to percolate through the adrenaline and rage. She tried to get up to her feet but fell back down as pain shot through her thighs and to her core. "Is it so surprising that people change? Its..." She grunts as a small stone falls from her knee, having landed on it, it stuck into her skin. "Its nature to change..." If I can just make him grab me and put Riku down... I can teleport away and Riku will have a better chance to get away...
Bradwr looks over at her. "Interesting? Hmm... They can be entertaining... And tasty." He smirks as he prods a log into the fire sending up more sparks.

"Tch," Axel gritted his teeth, his crimson eyes filled with hatred. "Shut up," He snarled glaring at the female vampire. He stayed where he was though. Riku barley weighed anything, Axel realized idly. It was as if he wasn't even caring him. "You don't know Riku like I do," Axel posture was tense since he was controlling himself to not lunge at Khaalida and rip her head off.
Erin huffed. "Not in that way!" She exclaims and spots a small worm on the ground. She gets into a crouching position and picks it up, placing it onto her palm. "Sure their blood is delicious but I'd like to get to know one personally." Erin says, the worm squirming on her hand.

Khaalida shook her head. "No. I don't... And you don't know me, or how I know Riku." She looks up to him, her eyes dulling and her face becoming rather pale, noticeably pale, even for a vampire. "Do you know why I left?" She tilted her head a little so it caught the moonlight. "I suppose it doesn't matter... Do you know why he left?" She asks motioning to Riku, slung over his shoulder. "Do you know what he and I have been through in the past few days?" Just come over here...
Bradwr smirked and snorted. "Do you remember the stories our mentors would tell us about the vampires who left the king's services?" A sick grin twisted his jaw and lips.

Axel gritted his teeth. "Do you think I care what you and Riku did?" He growled, pure hatred on his face. "You betrayed the King and because of that you have to face death. But death is the easy way out and since you consider yourself immortal, you get the luxury of being tortured for eternity." The vampire glanced at his unconscious friend. "You filled his head with lies with your stupid beliefs...you corrupted him!" It seemed now as if he was going to attack Khaalida at any second.
Erin nodded. "Of course," She chirped and flicked the worm to the flames. "Don't try to scare me with that. Just because I find the humans interesting doesn't mean I'm going to abandon the King." Her eyes narrowed. "Either way, those vampires are stupid." Erin noted, her previous irritation gone.

Khaalida hid her nervousness with a smile, a soft, almost warm, glowing smile. It seemed to offset the pale whiteness the moon was casting on her face. "I did no such thing. I simply told him the truth. I simply said why I left. It was I who corrupted him, it was his own ideas." She went to adjust her position, but as she tried to move her legs shifted and sent fresh jolts of pain through her. Damn it all! Don't make me get up and come over there!
Bradwr's smirk left his features as he looked up to the sky. "Yes. Very stupid. Very stupid and very dead." He said absentmindedly, his voice cold, and his eyes reflecting the blackness of the starless sky.

"Sure it was," Axel's nostrils flared, wanting nothing more but to rip out Khaalida's throat...with his teeth. "I hate to say this but your lies are not going to work on me," The Noble went towards Khaalida and grabbed her by her leg in attempt to drag her.
"Yeah," Erin stood up going onto her tiptoes. "Where is Axel?" She wondered. "He should have been here by now." She kicked the ground, sending up a small cloud of smoke.
(Okay. And not to worry. Nothing has happened to me. ^-^)

Khaalida lunged forwards as he grabbed her leg, her hands wrapped tightly around his arm. "Forgive me Riku..." She muttered as the pebbles around them floated for a brief moment before a flash of light and the cracking sound of a whip, leaving the scent of burning paper lingering in the air. When Khaalida opened her eyes next she realized she had brought them out into the wastes. The enormous expanse of desert outside of the city. The buildings were still visible, but none were familiar. This time she had much more physical energy, so for all she knows, they're on the complete opposite side of the city.
Bradwr tilts his head as he picks up a faint sound. He stands and looks off in the direction he supposes the sound came from. "Did you hear that?"

"Hey-" Axel tried to get Khaalida off him but was soon blinded by light. After a few moments, he reopened them, shocked to see that he wasn't in the same place anymore. He glanced around spotting the female vampire a few feet away but no sign of Riku. "What the hell did you do?!" He stomped over to Khaalida, picking her up by her scarf. "Where's Riku?!"
Erin's head immediately shot up at the sound. It was faint but she had managed to catch it as well. "Yes..." She replied taking a few steps towards the direction she believed it came from. "We should have a look!" Without waiting for an answer, Erin ran over to grab her bow and arrows, slinging them across her shoulder before running off.

Khaalida could no longer hide her fear of him, a tear escaped her eye, though her voice she maintained control over. She grabs his hands to hold herself up a little and to take pressure off of her throat. "I brought us away from him. He's back where you stood." I'm going to make the trip back a living Hell for you... If you leave me then I'll just teleport in front of you blinding you again.
Bradwr sighed as he took off after Erin, adjusting his sword which never strayed from his back. "Slow down Erin! Observation before action!" He called out one of the rules for scouting. She is going to be the death of us all...

Axel growled at this and threw her back onto the ground. Anger was welling up inside him, threating to spill out. "You are going to regret that choice." He kicked her on the stomach before quickly stepping away, just in case Khaalida tried to grab him. "What was the purpose of your plan?" Axel asked coldly. "To get him away from the base? I guess you succeeded in that but what if the humans come back?" If he gets killed by those barbarians..." He trailed off, his anger disappearing almost immediately. After a few minutes of silence, the Noble began to shake with hysterical laughter, throwing his head back. After his laughter died down, Axel turned back to Khaalida to reveal a huge sadistic grin on his lips, his eyes filled with insanity. "We're going to have so much fun," He said, his voice dripping with venom.
Riku was met with a wave of pain. His head was throbbing, not letting him open his eyes fully. He shifted and groaned at the movement. "Khaalida?" He croaked out, his eyelids barely opening.
Erin simply waved at Bradwr, not slowing down. "Yeah, yeah." She replied back, jumping over rubble. What could that have been?
