Khaalida grins wickedly before she disappears in a flash of light, leaving the smell of burnt paper in the air. She appears behind Hinami as her weapon swipes the air where she would have been. She punches several pressure points along Hinami's spine to inflict pain and weaken her. No... I don't want to kill her... That's not who I am... Stop... I need to get control... Its too late...
(I didn't think he was overpowered :) I figured that because of his high rank he wouldn't be as easy to defeat as a normal vampire. And I guessed that Riku was chilling :) He will be losing some points with Khaalida if he kills that child... Just sayin')

Hinami fell forward to her knees, her scythe slipping rom her fingers. "Ugh..." She muttered, her spine throbbing. Gathering some of her strength, Hinami pivoted one of her legs striking out in hope to trip Khaalida.
Riku went back to where the others were in combat, dragging the boy with him. The poor thing was bailing, his eyes swollen. What am I doing? The sober part of Riku wondered. Riku then laughed, his nostrils flaring. "Hey!" He growled and held the boy close to his chest. With the other hand, Riku grabbed a fistful if hair roughly yanked the boy's head back. "If you want him to live, you better let us go," Riku growls and leans closer to the boy's neck, his fangs barely touching skin.
(Ah okay, I jus wanted to make sure you were fine. Also, right now Riku isn't his usual self, like he doesn't know what he's doing. He's more cold/mean after he drinks human blood and sort of loses control)

If I don't regain control of myself I'll kill her... Khaalida retook her own body, at the moment Hinami lashed out. She screamed as her knee went backwards and she fell to the ground clutching at her now throbbing joint. She clenched her jaw and managed to sit up, still holding her knee. Damn it all!! She probably just tore my tendons! She looked over to Riku as she heard his voice. Her eyes narrowed as a tear ran down her cheek. That's my human... And... That's not Riku...

Hinami grinned, triumph flooding into her. It soon faded once she noticed the other vampire holding a human boy, threating to kill him. Her blood ran cold. "No..." Hinami slowly stood.
Riku growled, digging his nails into the boy's stomach, causing the human to shriek. "You think I'm joking?" He barks at Draco who still was attacking Axel. "One more move, and I'll rip his heart out!" Riku chuckles now having the sudden urge to do it.

Khaalida slowly stood up on her good leg. Once erect, she began limping towards Riku and the boy. Her nails dug into the soft flesh of her palms, a trickle of red fell from both hands as she approached Riku. She glances at the boy with an apologetic look before her eyes set on Riku, the blue almost glowing in the setting light. Riku... Wherever you are... You need to come back... If you kill him...
(I can see that he's much colder now. As if you can get much colder in a barren desert of a wasteland if you're dead. Or, undead rather.)

Riku smirked. "Actually he does, he escaped and he must be punished." His mouth hovers above the boys neck. "Like how I said, let us go and no one gets hurt." Riku then notices Khaalida gazing at the boy with a sympathetic look. "And you, you want him saved!" He cries and throws his head back, laughter echoing at the deserted city. Axel successfully healed his wound as the humans turned their attention to Riku and his captive. His eyes narrowed at what Riku had said of Khaalida but he turned his attention to Draco and Hinami.

Khaalida's blood ran cold at Riku's remark. She kept moving forward, despite the intense pain in her leg. Her eyes hardened on Riku's features. He's not himself. The human blood did something to him... "Riku... Give me back my meal." She demanded.

Riku ignores Khaalida completely, turning his attention to Draco. "Why do I have a hard time believing that?" He wonders out loud. "You two," Riku gestures to him and Hinami, "might come back." He points out.

Khaalida kept her pace even as she began to close the distance between her and Riku. Six feet, five, four. Riku, don't do something you're going to regret... Just take the offer and let him go. He'll be safe with the humans... "Riku, let him go. Give him to the humans. I'd like to get out of this with my other leg intact..." Her blood felt like ice in her veins, her adrenaline was keeping the pain at bay. The blood from her hands dripped continually onto the dusty ground, sending up a little cloud before absorbing into the parched earth.

Hinami immediately caught the boy, holing him into an embrace. "Shh, its going to be okay." She whispered kissing his forehead. "

Once the humans were around the corner Khaalida fell to her good leg and held her throbbing knee. Damn... That's going to take a long time to heal... Crap... Her hands began to sting as her sweat and the dirt got into the punctures along her palms.
(Its okay :) I completely understand! Schoolwork comes first.)

Riku watched the humans leave, hissing at them. Before he could do anything else, Axel punched him in the face the impact causing him to stumble back. Riku groaned and spat out blood. "What the hell?" He growled, his face twisted in confusion. Axel answered by shoving him hard to the ground. "Are you really going to ask that?" The white-haired vampire spat, kicking Riku's stomach. Riku gasped and shut his eyes tightly, stars exploding into his vision. "You just let one of our livestock go!" He continued, this time turning to Khaalida. Axel went over to her, disgust written all over his face. "You're no vampire." He hissed.

Khaalida smirked. "No. I'm not. I'm something different. Something new." She looked up at him, knowing full well he will be starting to beat her, most likely to death. She didn't care. She smiled warmly. "You know... My parents, whoever they may be named me Khaalida because somehow they knew I wouldn't die from the virus... Khaalida means Immortal. Deathless." Her eyes flash with something, pride perhaps? "I am different." She adds confidently, her voice unwavering. If I die today, then I die myself. I die on my own terms. I die not a vampire... But as me...

Axel chuckles, his previous anger completely gone from his face. "Who said that you were dying?" He asks innocently and kicks her. "Dying is the easy way out...and you," He kicks her again, "Are not going to that direction, Kaa-li-da~." Axel wraps his fingers around her neck and held her up. "I'm taking you back to the base," He hisses and walks over to Riku, dragging Khaalida during the process. "Keep up," He growls before heading off.
Riku groans opening his eyes. He couldn't think straight. What? Riku thought while watching Axel walk away, forcing Khaalida to do the same. He frowned and slowly stood, clutching his stomach. Damn...

Khaalida grunts as she's kicked twice. She gasps and struggles to breath as Axel picks her up by the neck, her hands clawing at his fingers wrapped around her throat. Not back to the base... Not back to the king... No... Please... Riku... She tried to stand as he drags her but fails to keep her feet beneath her. Her vision began to get spotty. She attempted to focus on something, she found Riku's shape following her. I will not give up. I don't back up and I don't back down. She twisted her head just enough and bit Axel's forearm.

Axel gritted his teeth together but he didn't let go. Instead with his other hand, hit her on the stomach. "I guess, you don't want to go back, huh? I want to know more about you." He says, wincing slightly at the bite he had received. Riku managed to catch up, limping as quickly as possible. His breathing was in ragged breaths. "Axel...that's enough..." He wheezed and placed his hand on his friend's shoulder.

Khaalida let out a strained exhalation with the blow to her unprotected gut. Bite him again! He'll have to let go sooner or later... Carrying me will tire him out so the more I fight, the more tired he gets. She turns and bites his arm again, but harder, deeper, with more pressure. Blood spurted out past her lips. His blood... Its cold... But... Its, its, stale... This is so gross...

Axel hisses and throws Khaalida to the ground. He cursed and kicked her once more on her stomach. "I'll break your legs if I have to," He warned and placed his foot on top of Khaalida, pinning her. Riku simply watched in horror, finally off of the effects the blood gave him. Axel...you're not the same... Riku thought while staring at his friend. Riku had ignored it but now it was too much, something had happened to Axel during the time he(he as in Riku) had first encountered Khaalida. Axel wasn't a teddy bear but he also wasn't cold hearted either. Where was the vampire that raised him and took care of him? Riku placed his hand on Axel's shoulder again, earing himself a glare from the other. "That's enough, Axel." Riku growled but Axel pushed him away. "I'll break yours too," Axel snarled.

Khaalida coughs as she regains the ability to breathe. She exhales the fresh air she just got as she struggles to contain anything in her stomach as its kicked. "Do it..." She hisses. "I'm going to fight you the entire way..." She grasps his foot, sinking her nails into the flesh. I won't give up... I won't go back to the king...
(That is up to Axel and you. They could, but Khaalida isn't going to be all that happy about it... Draco would be though...)

Axel hisses, glaring down at the female vampire. "As you wish," His voice dripping with venom and with one swift movement, he slammed his foot onto Khaalida's knee, bending it the opposite way. It wasn't long before there was a satisfying crack. Riku flinched, his eyes wide with disbelief. He did it... Riku's disbelief was soon replaced by anger. "What the hell?!" He pushed Axel, causing the other vampire to stumble back a few steps. He smirked. "C'mon Riku, I don't want to hurt you." Riku paid no mind to his friend's warning and stood in front of Khaalida to shield her.
