Draco shook his head only succeeding in making himself dizzy. He pulled out his blade, and once his vision was clear enough he poked his head around the corner searching for any approaching dangers. He's moving... Probably waking up... He turned to Hinami. "Stay here with the boy. One of us has to stay behind with him, plus, if something happens, you can return to the base." He says before striding swiftly over towards the vampire and placing the tip of his blade upon his neck before he could get up. "What happened?" He asks gruffly.

Khaalida winced as she hit the ground and grunted loudly as he kicked her once again in the stomach. She looked up to him, her face twisted with fear for a moment before she shut her eyes tightly and pursed her lips. "I will not grant you the pleasure of seeing me beg for mercy. As I doubt you have any. Especially not for me." There was a burst of light, the near deafening sound of a whip crack, and the scent of burned paper in the air. She appeared roughly ten yards away from him. She fell over to her side from her sitting position. That was... Stupid... I'm far to drained to do much of anything now... I must weather the storm... I will weather the storm... No matter how choppy the sea, no matter how strong the wind... I will... She repeats to herself in her mind as she begins her retreat inside herself.

Bradwr sighs as he picks up speed and runs alongside Erin. "You're going to get yourself killed that way..." Me too if I try to protect her...

Hinami wanted to protest but nodded either way. He's right...the boy musn't get hurt. I won't be able to forgive myself if he does. She watched Draco approach the vampire and drew his sword against the creature.

Riku stiffened, feeling the cold, sharp metal on his neck. He sighed, still trying to open his eyes. "Thanks for your kindness," Riku joked, his voice cracking. Ugh...I feel like shit... The vampire forcefully opened his eyes. Even though his sight was blurry, he could make out the outline of the human and his sword.

Axel huffed, managing to turn away from the light. "You have no control on where you transport," He realized, a smirk settling on his lips. After somewhat regaining his sight, he slowly approached her. "I can just leave you here." His boots crunched the dry earth beneath him.

Erin chuckles. "I've done this billons of times...and been lectured by Axel a billon time too. The same subject actually." She slows down just to please Bradwr.

Draco smirked momentarily at the joking remark from the recumbent vampire. "I wasn't asking if you were okay. I was asking what happened. Also, where did the female and the white-haired vampire go?" He said still as cold as before as he adjusted his grip on his sword.

Khaalida forced herself onto her stinging stomach and began to slowly push herself up onto her arms. "You could... But then I'd still be alive... And I would come after you..." She says, her voice betraying the weariness and pain that was weighing her down.

Bradwr shook his head and grabbed her firmly by the arm stopping their advance. "You think we say these things because we like rules? No. We like being alive. These rules and guidelines are in place to keep us alive."

Riku hissed, feeling the tip of the sword dig into his skin. They're gone? He thought with confusion. His sight had finally been restored so he could see the human better. Riku couldn't move his head due to the sword but sure enough, he couldn't smell either of them. "I can ask you the same thing," He growled. glaring at Draco.

Axel shrugged. "Is that's supposed to change my mind?" He asked, looking down at the injured vampire. "I can easily beat you over and over again." He smirked at Khaalida's pain as he turned away.

Erin yelped, trying to regain her footing. She grunted pulling away from Bradwr. "I know that!" She crossed her arms, pouting. "I've been told that a billon of times too." She sighed, rubbing her neck. "You'll probably won't take me seriously if I continue so alright. I'll pay attention." Erin's posture then immediately changed, her face turning serious.

Draco tilted his head and withdrew the sword a bit, letting it hover just above the vampire's Adam's apple. "I did nothing to them. The female grabbed the white haired one and left in a flash of light." His expression melted into a deadpan stare. "Leaving you behind." He awaited any sort of reaction from him.

Khaalida's arms began to shake before she collapsed onto the ground sending up a small cloud of dust around her. "No... I'm not planning on changing your mind... I won't be able to..." She rolled onto her side again so she could look at him. "Where's the fun in that?" She asks in the same way she did when asking for the boy. Cold, smooth, sultry, almost silken.

Bradwr stared at her momentarily with a surprised expression, slightly taken aback by her attentiveness. "We approach with caution, assess the situation and we'll decide on how to proceed once we know what's going on. Got it?"

Riku sent a short thankful glance at Draco before lowering his head slightly. Khaalida transported? He thought doubtfully. The doubt soon went away though. It made sense though. "Damn it Khaalida..." Riku growled under his breath. I told you that you shouldn't worry about me... He thought.

Axel raised his eyebrow, Khaalida's voice catching him off guard. "That's the point," He replied smirking. "You try to hunt me down and I'll wait to capture you again." He says, his voice monotone.

Erin slightly grins at Bradwr's astonishment before masking her face again. "Got it," She says with an affirmative nod.

Draco lifted the sword an inch or so away from the vampire's neck so he could observe the vampire better. "Why was the white haired one attacking you both?" I should kill him where he lays... He's a vampire... All vampires must die...

Khaalida, clutching at her stomach still, forced herself to sit up and look Axel in the eye. "Why would you do that? Its a stupid idea... There would always be the chance that I'll take you by surprise. The chance that i will win..." She fights off the growing urge to release the bile in her stomach as she strains a smile. "And i thought you said we'd be having fun..." The longer i keep him talking the longer Riku has to wake up and get out of there...

Bradwr glances in the direction they were heading. "Would you care to take the lead again? As you were so enthusiastic about running off on your own..." He smirks.

Riku grunts, narrowing his eyes at the human. He knew that he was going to kill him if he told them. Hell, Riku didn't think the human would believe him either way. Instead the vampire shrugged, a sad chuckle escaping his mouth. Even if Axel wanted to possibly kill him, Riku would always be loyal to him and he wasn't about to sell him out on some Hunter. "Why do you need to know?" Riku asked wearily, his eyelids beginning to droop once more.

Axel smirks and tilts his head. "You keep telling yourself that, Khaalida. But your chances of winning against me are slim." He strolls over to her and bends down to her level. "Ah, yes we are. How can forget that? I'm going to enjoy breaking every single bone of yours."

Erin nods and happily struts off. "Why wouldn't I?" She asked behind her shoulder.

Draco growled indignantly at the vampire. "Because. Its helping me decide whether or not to kill you..." He seems to have trouble saying the last few words. "Did I hear correctly that the female didn't want to drink the boy?" If this is fake, its one extremely elaborate trick...

"Just to make it a bit more interesting..." Khaalida smirks before hauling off and punching him, aiming for the bridge of his nose. Don't back up... Don't back down... No matter what...

Bradwr strides along behind her staying within a few paces of her. "Because it could very well be a group of hunters that made that sound." He smirks, hoping to make her nervous, but figuring it probably wouldn't work.

Riku sighed with annoyance, forcing his eyes to stay open. His head still throbbed from where Axel had hit him. Stay awake... He barely understood what the human had told him. "You were there, weren't you?" Riku pointed out, his voice no louder than a whisper.

Axel hissed, falling onto his butt. He felt bones crack and blood beginning to drip from his nose. He muttered a curse word underneath his breath. "Is that the best you got?" He mocked, feeling no pain whatsoever from his broken nose. Without waiting for a response, the vampire stepped on Khaalida's fingers.

"That is a possibility," Erin nods, a feeling of excitement surging into her. I wonder how these fight? What weapons can they posses? She wondered to her herself making her steps as light as possible.

Draco snorted as he tapped the vampire's shoulder with his boot. "You two betrayed your own kind?" He's a vampire and will most likely tell me what I want to hear to prolong his own life... His grip tightened around the hilt of his blade, which remained close by the vampire's neck.

Khaalida screamed as Axel stepped on her slightly open fingers causing her nails to dig deeply into her palm. She rolled and sunk her teeth through the leg of his pants just below the knee. Her other hand reaches up to his thigh and claw at the inside where the femoral artery is. She had no thoughts going through her mind, she was consumed with pain and rage.

Bradwr chuckles at his companions enthusiasm. "What if there is a whole hoard of them? What would you do in that situation?" He asked, trying to quiz her.

Riku stiffened at the tap he received and sent a annoyed glance to the human. "Did you not hear?" He muttered with a grunt. Is he acting stupid? Why was this human so interested? Did it matter if he wasn't with the King anymore? Why was Riku still alive? Is he having doubts? Riku wondered, now gazing at Draco with curiosity. "Why does it matter to you?" The vampire asked, tilting his head. "You're going to kill me either way since you'll think I'm lying." His tone got cold.

Axel hissed, Khaalida's nails reaching their destination. He felt the artery rip, causing him grit his teeth together. He managed to peel the female vampire off him but not quick enough since she successfully managed to rip it. Axel hissed, the pain catching him off guard. "You bitch..." He growled and placed his hand above his bleeding leg to heal it.

Erin hummed and tapped her chin. After a few moments she simply shrugged. "Call for back up, of course! If none is available I just try my best. I usually attack at far range considering I use arrows."

Draco sheathed his sword partially staring down at the vampire. "It matters because I'd rather not kill a potential ally. If your own kind hates you, then the enemy of my enemy is my friend..." He growls. "Even if they themselves are vampires..." He shuts his eyes tightly almost hating himself for what he just said. I'm responsible if he turns and bites one of us...

Khaalida lay on the ground grinning widely, Axel's stale blood drizzling down from the corner of her mouth. "If I'm a dog what does that make you?" She growls as she tries to get up to a sitting position. "Still having fun?" She snorted. Just another couple of strikes... Almost there... For this to work he needs to be angrier... Though, I am pushing my luck... If I had any luck to begin with...

Chuckling, Bradwr looked up at the top of a building as they passed watching for life signs. "Good. And when your arrows run out? What then?"

Riku slightly smirked, one of his fangs partially showing. His smirk immediately disappeared once the human opened his eyes again. "Strange to be considered your...ally." Riku murmured, his stomach sinking. If Riku helped these hunters, other vampires might get hurt. It was his turn to shut his eyes. So many choices...They're my family and now, I might be turning on them...

Axel chuckled, healing his leg more than halfway before stopping. "Then that makes me your master," Quicker than a blink, the Noble was on Khaalida, pinning her and arms down so she is unable to hurt him. Axel then sunk his teeth into her neck and drank, her stale blood making him shudder.

Erin glanced at a different building. "Depends on how many hunters I took out. If its a few, I'll attack with one of the fallen's weapons. I know how to attack close range as well." Axel and Riku taught me...

Draco glanced at the corner where he left Hinami and the boy before kneeling next to the vampire. "Look, if you're not going to help me, then I won't help you, and I will kill you. My time is precious, so make up your mind." he said somewhat irked by having to wait and "play nice" with a vampire.

Khaalida's scream was muffled as her blood was being drained. So... So this is what it feels like... So... So cold... "W-what will the k-king think... When he h-hears that you... D-drank from his d-daughter..." Her voice was no louder than a whisper. "S-surely you've heard... Of the first r-runner? Th-the one who started it all?" She gulps as her entire body shudders at the new sensation.

Bradwr smirks. "Good plan. You remember your training well then?" I had been meaning to test her, so I guess this is as good a time as any... He kicks a small pebble along before stepping over a can and leaving the rock.

Hinami sat on the ground, her back pressed on the building. She couldn't hear what Draco was telling the vampire so she decided to take a glance. Peering around the corner, confusion settled on her face once she realized that Draco's sword was sheathed.

Riku snorted, noticing the Hunter's clear annoyment and impatience. "Fine," He growled and tried to stand. I guess pretending won't hurt. I really don't want to help this human but Khaalida risked herself for me... Riku sighed, hoping that the female vampire was okay or holding up.

Axel froze, his brows furrowing. He pulled away and stared hard at Khaalida. "You're lying," He hissed, eyes narrowing. "You're just trying to protect yourself." But even as the Noble said this, doubt was beginning to settle in his mind

"Of course," Erin exclaimed picking up the can to examine it. "I don't forget easily."

Draco stepped back, wanting to help his new "ally" up, but his hatred for vampires proceeded his human nature. "Good. First things first. Name's Draco. Now, why was the white haired vampire attacking your two?" Fine? His tone didn't sound completely sincere... I won't trust him completely then.

Khaalida gazed blankly up at him, her eyes developing the glaze of pure exhaustion and perhaps worse. "Has it been so long? Have you forgotten the searches? The days... The weeks... Spent out in the wastes... Looking for the little blue eyed... Black haired little vampire?" She smiled faintly before letting her eyes shut momentarily. If he doesn't believe me then I'll die... If he does believe me, he'll bring me back and I'll die there... Either way... As long as Axel is with me... He's not after Riku...

Bradwr stopped and stared at the can in her hands. "Good, that will serve you well." He looked off down the road at a small mammal crossing the street. "We should get moving."

Thanks for your help. Riku thought sourly, wincing as he stood. "Riku," He said right after the human, Draco, introduced himself. Before Riku could even say anything else, Draco proceeded to speak. Riku didn't respond right away, every bit of his instincts screaming for him to stay quiet. With a sigh, he answered after a few moments. "He...he figured out that my companion, the female vampire and I aren't in the King's service anymore. He was trying to take us back..." Riku trailed off, unable to continue.

Axel thought hard. Was there searches? He could not remember but now doubt filled him. The Noble couldn't risk it. With a grunt of annoyance, Axel got off Khaalida glaring hard at the ground. "Then I suppose I have to take you back..."

Erin simply nodded, throwing the can behind her shoulder. She sniffed the air and got on her tiptoes, ears alert.

Draco released his death-grip on the hilt of his blade and stared coldly at "Riku" his new ally. "Why did you two leave in the first place?" I didn't think the King allowed vampires to leave his service... He looked beyond the vampire down the street then back to him. "We should probably get out of direct sight..." He turned and started walking to the corner before turning back to him. "Can you walk alright?" He asked, his voice hard.

Khaalida went to sit up but laid back down as she got a fresh wave of pain shoot through her from her traumatized legs. "Then you're not going to kill me right now?" She smirked as she blinked slowly, staring up at the greying sky. I'm going to make this trip as troublesome as I can... What's the worst he could possibly do? Make empty threats about leaving me here? He can't disobey the King... Oh, he could hurt me further, not like I can't take more of it... He could knock me out... But I'd have to wake up eventually, then I'd continue to cause trouble.

Bradwr walked over to the edge of the road and slunk along in the darkness cast by the buildings.

"...We left because...Khaalida and I...we're different." Riku muttered, not averting his eyes off the ground. Like he's going to believe me... He glanced up whenever Draco asked him another question. "Yeah, I believe so." He replied back with the same tone he had received.

Axel growled and glared at Khaalida. "I never said I was going to kill you. Don't make me repeat myself a million times," He hissed and went over to her. "And if you have any ideas of making this trip hard or difficult, you have another thing coming." The vampire then placed his hand on Khaalida's forehead, murmuring a short spell. This will keep her occupied.

Erin continued to walk out in the open, still sniffing the air. "Hmm..." She spots a tree, well what used to be tree. Its naked branches drooped sadly. Erin bounds over to it and climbs it with ease, holding her hat in place so it wouldn't fall.

(The spell that Axel did was for Khaalida to hallucinate things that aren't actually there. In her mind she would be moving but in reality, she'll be in a daze not moving. Hope that makes sense :P )
